For example, when I first created the Bridgeport series, a lot of characters were actually originally either animals or mushrooms. Now they are most definitely not animals or mushrooms lmao
So who else has strange character origins? The stranger the better!
For IC, I read a really good book, then found lots of images related to that book, then browsed the Trending characters page and it all came together!
Leo my main character had been a work in progress for years, it came together in my head after listening to a song that must've woken up my mind and made me piece everything together into a representation of me!
Rose came from a really odd and dark in-joke, I don't even know where it came from, I think someone misheard what I said in a serious conversation and that's how it started.
I encountered this character in a dream. They have an entire story from that dream, but it's a very sad story.
I was having a bath and looked into the greenish rippling reflections and saw a golden crown shape. I immediately had to create this character, such random inspiration haha.
Almost all of my characters are based off places I've been to or memories or photos I've taken or dreams (though usually not because the characters of my dreams are incredibly strange colourful monstrous beings that appear neither animal nor human).
