Yin has these wide, big smiles that really just exude happiness and enthusiasm, he's a very earnest and happy person and that much is very clear in his smiles. It's that kind of smile that lightens the mood and makes others want to smile with him, and it's a part of his charm, of his natural charisma.
Is it a wide smile? Reserved? Is it toothy or is it all in the eyes? Do they have laugh lines from smiling a lot? Are they self conscious about it?
Are they hopeful smiles, or is there something else behind them? Are they self-conscious about their smile? Are their smiles contagious or are they awkward, kinda creepy when forced smiles?
Has your character got a full set of chompers, or are there some (or all, even) missing?

*insert Asher holding a knife or axe with a psychopathic smile, and the thirst for blood in his beady eyes* Most of the time, Asher has a normal smile, but then when he goes insane, that smile changes into his creator's worst nightmare
He very rarely really smiles. If he does it is a reserved smile you barely notice. He rather smirks and grins, there is barely anything that makes him smile. Except when he snaps and is on a rage spree on a slave, he can smile a vicious smile.
caesar very rarely smiles-- probably not at all, especially during the past decade in his story, but even so, his smile is very stifled. he's a man who exudes an overwhelming air of formality to him; he's always walking on eggshells around people so that they don't see past his façade. during his younger years, though, he'd often get caught up in the pride of taking down armies by himself, or just getting too cocky, and his smile would be that of a morbid sneer. a kind of ravenous look, and a reflection of the type of ruler he really is.
whenever he's posing for paintings, though, or making an impact in generally public events, he can put on a very gentle smile. just a subtle curl of the tips of his lips; nothing too drastic, though it's much too insincere if you look too hard at it.
Magnus has a couple of different smiles. He's got a wide, toothy one (shown here) that he puts on whenever he's partying real hard, a small mischievous smirk whenever he's feeling rather playful, probably one with his tongue hanging out, and a small, shy closed-mouth one that he shows whenever he's dropping his flamboyant facade.
ALL OF THEM show his teeth, though... they're huge.
Borneo smiles awkwardly. His face muscles aren't really meant to go into a smile, so he often time just open his mouth wide and shows his teeth. It can be somewhat frightening when he tries to squint while doing so. I believe he is capable of smiling with his teeth together, but that has yet to be seen although I'm sure that'd be pretty awkward as well.
