Physical Build: Alaric is relatively short (5’7”), he is not particularly muscular (though he is quite strong)

Hair, Skin, Eye colors: Alaric has messy brown hair, lightly tanned but still fairly light coloured skin with blue scales in the areas common for most Ignii, blue/teal eyes.
Other Distinguishing Marks Or Features: Alaric has prominent fangs and relatively large wings
What are some things this character might carry on them at all times?
-Alaric carries a traveller’s pack with rations and supplies, as well as a shortsword he uses for combat. He also carries a drawing made for him by Lucian, which he keeps as a reminder of his boyfriend.
What is their general state of dress or appearance?
-Alaric dresses extremely casually, to the point where he is almost dishevelled. Alaric does not even bother to wear an undershirt beneath his open top.
Personality
Personality Trait 1: Confident. Alaric is fairly adept at fighting and is entirely convinced he can go wherever and do nearly whatever he wants. This confidence is usually warranted, and Alaric goes many places without issue, though when this confidence is misplaced it has gotten Alaric into some very dangerous situations.
Personality Trait 2: Adventurous. Alaric feels a call to adventure that has lead him to leave his place of origin and become a wanderer and vagabond. Alaric travels seeking novelty, adventure, and fun. He does not like staying in one place for too long (though he makes an exception for his boyfriend’s cavern)
Personality Trait 3: Charismatic. Alaric is an extremely charming and sociable person. He is the type who will strike up a conversation with a vendor at a market and within the hour have somehow ended up invited to the vendor’s wedding.

Fears: being trapped, returning from travelling and finding out something has happened to Lucian
Goals/dreams: Alaric’s goal is to find somewhere nice for Lucian to live where he can also live part time between adventures.
Hobbies: stone carving (Alaric uses his claws to make small statues out of stone, which he sells to fund his travels)
Habits: Alaric counts his coins when he wakes up and before he goes to bed. He is also in the habit of taking a swig of alcohol before he gets into fights.

Additional notes:
-Alaric met Lucian when he had gotten into a fight with another Ignii over a remark he had made about the other Ignii’s mother (who he had not known was the other guy’s mother at the time), and ended up getting ditched on the rocks quite far from the nearest village with a broken leg. Lucian found Alaric and brought him to his cavern to take care of him. Alaric over time grew to like and then love the fairly mellow, non-confrontational, and easy to embarrass Caelian. Alaric had to slightly adapt his flirting style, as Lucian didn’t respond very well to being put in a headlock and flirted with simultaneously. Once Alaric ditched the wrestling moves his attempts at flirting became far more successful.
-Alaric spends most of his time out travelling, but he always returns back to Lucian. Alaric loves Lucian very much, but cannot stand to be confined to one place for too long. Overall they spend about a quarter of each year together.
-Lucian and Alaric have agreed that neither will take other romantic partners, but that flings are acceptable
History
TLDR: Feral child from a group of equally feral children grows up to be a travelling party animal.
Childhood: Alaric grew up spending most of his time with other children. They were essentially collectively raised by the whole group’s parents, with the children being fed and cared for by whoever’s family was the closest when food or attention was needed. The roving band of children spent most of their free time exploring and play fighting with each other. Overall Alaric’s childhood was quite happy.
Adulthood: When Alaric reached adulthood, he set out to travel and explore the world, and has not stopped since. He still visits his childhood friends when he is in the area and still considers himself quite close with them. Alaric, has spent a lot of time either getting into fights or enjoying the many pleasures of life in hedonistic frenzies. While Alaric eventually found a boyfriend, he has never been entirely monogamous (which Lucian knows and is okay with). Alaric is unsure if he has any children because of his travels and the fact that he doesn’t keep in contact with many people he has encountered.
