Gremlin tosses a pair of clown shoes. "I wish for a clown to bring cheer and joy!"
Golli throws in a flower. "I wish for someone who can make things right!"
Duskie returns! And throws in a drawing he did himself! "I wish for… Oh! I wish for a friend for the other Duskie!" (Duskie no the other you already HAS a comfy-)
Cali gazes into the fire, then tosses in a handful of catmint. "... My wish… A guardian for the hopebringer… one that could have saved the raccoon…"
In an event before this one, Tommy tossed in a disc. "A kindhearted older brother!"
It's been lifetimes since Stuart has felt the heat of the Flame. She remembers it being a sweltering heat, something almost oppressive in its presence. Today, standing awkwardly before the bonfire, Stuart only feels a creeping comfort. A tingling in her hooves and the tips of her arms, like she's found herself a warm pair of gloves and a fuzzy pair of socks. It's uncomfortable, in the way a new pair of shoes are. You're excited, but it still needs time to be broken in.
Stuart uncoils one long arm tentacle, revealing a zipper, about a foot in length, inlaid in black fabric. Hesitantly, she reaches forward, and tosses it in the Flame. She is silent for a long while, letting the chanting and cheering of the crowd and the crackling of the fire wash over her, before she speaks; a quiet, indulgent, hopeless wish.
"I just wish... I wish I could see them again. Any of them."
Showtime approached the bonfire and threw in a balloon dog!
"I wish for everyone to have a SUPER FUN time at the festival!! AAAA!!!!!!" He screamed, proceeding to run around the fire several times.

Mother Hen's heart clenches as she peers into the roaring flame. Bittersweet memories flooding over it. She missed them dearly but she truly treasured the time they had spent together dancing around the open flame. Teasing one another about the wishes they had made. As the ache in her chest only grew Mother Hen decide it should get this over with quickly.
Preparing swiftself it threw in a gray feather. Watching carefully as the flames consumed it with ease.
"I hope everyone here has someone to share these memories with and look back on this moment full of hope."
Newton cautiously approached the bonfire as he held closed fists close to their chest. There he stood at the edge of the flame, watching it dance as a small hum came from them. Slowly Newton would reach their arm out, allowing his hand to touch the flame as they carefully let go of the object. A feathered quill; "I wish for everyone to have creativity so that they may bring joy into their life."
bob stares into the fire with unblinking eyes.
it stares for another minute or two before hastily throwing in a bar of soap before retreating into god knows where.
later you find a note resting on the ground reading; i wish for a pet fish

Noodle... for almost all accounts, was pretty new. Still, she tosses something in... a purple crystal, wishing apon it, that "there will be someone there, to protect us all, when the times try to break us."
They smile. Hopefully, this is the only time something like this happens in her life...

[Albeit hesitant, Sirius approaches the fire. He glances down at one of his beloved books, which was ruined beyond repair in the attack. It is missing half of its pages and is severely water damaged.]
"To whomever hears these wishes, may those who desire knowledge find it. Be it knowledge of a skill or simply the world around them."
[Glancing away and taking a deep breath, he gently tosses the book into the fire. It quickly makes its way away from the bonfire, not wanting to watch the book burn.]

_Something_ rolls up in a blur of motion, a small flash of something black and metal flying at frankly dangerous speeds away from the larger mass, nearly clipping some poor soul in the back of the head on the way into the fire. Good god, what was that?
The rapidly-leaving comfy doesn’t say anything, but you get the feeling that they wished for some great beats and better times. Must’ve been some kind of radio?

Maverick hefts an old, broken sword, the edges lined with chips and grooves too deep to fix. It’s cast into the flames without a second thought, a flash of metal in the light.
“We could use a little more help.” A practical sentiment.
“Would be nice to have someone with some common sense around here.” A… more pointed sentiment, paired with a glance back towards the ball fading off into the distance.
Hyacinth takes a deep breath and throws her old practice sword into the fire, it was given to her by her brother. This was a sentimental item. “I wish for this sword to go to a pure hearted warrior, one who needs it more than I, Also…..please keep my brother safe in these hard times if he is alive….please.”
Twig timidly walks up to the bonfire, holding up one of her favorite things she's made. A leaf teddybear. She gave it a hug and threw it into the fire. Mumbling her wish "I wish for the comfys new and old to be happy and for them to not have to live in fear." And she shuffled back, fixing her mask carefully.
Dolly stared at the fire, lost in thought. This brought back memories, although she was too old to even remember what they were. Dolly sighed, she didnt wish that on some poor soul, even if she hated everybody. She throws in a broken hourglass, with moss growing inside on the sand that remains.
"I wish for someone to have a bit more time with their special one. Even if for a second, because time is precious...thats what someone told me at least."
