What does Kat do when people flirt with her husband, besides feeling a great deal of jealousy towards them?
crewmate Thank you for your wonderful questions! I hope my answers prove satisfactory and do your well-thought-out questions justice. If you want to know anything more, don't hesitate to get in touch, I will always exchange talk about characters with others.
- Aneirin seems like a truly tragic individual, and I can't help but feel for him. Does he ever mourn the fact that he's blind, or has it always felt like something natural to him? As a young child, Aneirin did not really think about his blindness because it was natural. As he got older and started to understand the limitation; anger, however, needs a source of focus, and by the time Aneirin was 13-14, he'd come to accept that being blind was beyond anyone's control. He still struggles with sight-based concepts such as beauty, but it no longer bothers him, and there are times now he forgets that most people don't experience the world as he does.
- In his biography, it states that he was born into a land torn apart by war. What is this war about? When creating Aneirin's backstory, I took a great deal of inspiration from the British Isles and his homeland is based in northern Wales. I have since altered the era beyond recognition, but as initially consved, Aneirin grew up in the time of Henry II conquests of Wales. There is nothing historical about Anririn's story anymore, but many of my early ideas linger in names, places, and details, as well as geography.
- Aneirin's family has always tried their best to protect him, but in the process, denied him a proper childhood or friendship with others. Does he understand why they did this and empathize with them, or does he hold them in contempt, wishing things had been different? That's difficult to answer, Aneirin wishing he'd been allowed more freedom growing up, especially in forming and maintaining friendships. However, he also understands his family's perspective and knows they were trying to do their best by him in a difficult situation. Aneirin is bitter, particularly because many of the measures his family took were unreasonable and unnecessary, but he tries his best to put a smile on his face and hide his feelings for the sake of keeping the peace.
- To add onto this, how is his relationship with his family? It depends on the family member; he maintains a distance from the adults in his family, having learned from experience that they will never understand he is capable of handing himself in almost all regards. His relationship with his still-living elder half-brother has always been good, although they have only gotten close since the death of Aneirin's other half-brother, with whom he was very close. Aneirin has three younger sisters, with whom he shares close relationships, although he can't help but compare the freedoms they are given to his childhood.
