Heya! Figured I'd start up a thread like this as I abolsutely love finding various music, and noticed there isn't a thread for this here yet! Plus, thinking on it, a good few of my OCs are inspired by some songs and music in general, and it never hurts to be on the hunt for more music to check out!
Basic Rules:
1. The person above you will link you a song to listen to!
2. Give your thoughts on it - is it something you liked, or is it just not your cup of tea? Did it inspire you to make an OC on the fly? Feel free to express this as much or as little as you want! (Please be respectful and civil in your reply, though.)

Having someone be told the song you chose (which might even mean a lot to you on your own terms and reasons behind it) is horrible or nasty, can be a bit rude. it's neat - not the kind of thing i'd normally listen to but i like the guy's voice and the tune is calming to me ;w; it sounds like smthn from one of my dad's CDs, so it's an instant win for me, it makes me feel happy

The song I have to share is a remix of the Marine Tube track from Pokemon Black/White 2. There's something I really love about it, I'm not sure what.

So, I thought about not doing this. And, I know this kind of music isn't for everyone. But, although I only listened to this song because I found it hilarious at first, I find myself listening to it unironically too lmao! Warning: Has swearing in it!
Damn, that's a catchy song. Honestly! I wonder where he got the checkered backdrop for some of the shots. Admire that dedication to making a party scene with excessive balloons and streamers. It's a good time all around.
Now I'm gonna veer the genre entirely off course cause I've been got by this song. "In the Middle of the Night" by Within Temptation. I recommend it being loud.
Now, I don't know why, but when this album came out while I was in highschool, I dismissed it offhand. But man, I listened to this song recently and I regret that decision.

"Stairway to the Skies" by Within Temptation. Whoops, it's another song from the album I just posted, but. This song got me fucked up.
I quite liked the start and it seemed really exciting. The song was really nice and the chorus was amazing, but I just found it a little lacking? somehow? the lyrics were good and i liked them and the melody worked, but i guess just not for me. the instruments were really good too but still i'm not that impressed.
honestly the more i listen to it the more i start to like it. it's just a little, little bit too plain for me?
