Heya! Figured I'd start up a thread like this as I abolsutely love finding various music, and noticed there isn't a thread for this here yet! Plus, thinking on it, a good few of my OCs are inspired by some songs and music in general, and it never hurts to be on the hunt for more music to check out!

Basic Rules:

1. The person above you will link you a song to listen to!

2. Give your thoughts on it - is it something you liked, or is it just not your cup of tea? Did it inspire you to make an OC on the fly? Feel free to express this as much or as little as you want! (Please be respectful and civil in your reply, though.)

3. In the same post, link a song for the next person to listen to!

Music is something it's obvious not everyone is going to like the same thing, but I must remind you to PLEASE, be respectful to the person above you when having shared music. If it isn't your thing, please be kind and simply say "It wasn't my cup of tea, sorry. I'm glad you like it though!" or something nice along those lines. Having someone be told the song you chose (which might even mean a lot to you on your own terms and reasons behind it) is horrible or nasty, can be a bit rude. It's pretty cool! The melody isn't my cup of tea, but those instrumentals? I loved them so much! Especially the percussion! This would probably be something I would've loved listening to like a few years ago, but looks like my music tastes have changed. It's really interesting to see what other people are interested in ^^

Here is Rooftop-N.Flying I recommend turning subtitles on if you want to read the lyrics! They're super underrated in my opinon and they deserve more attention! I put Rooftop here since that was the song that earned them their first win on a music awards show. They usually have much more robust and rock songs, but this one's a little more chill.

AHH its the 2idiots. I'm not an N.Fia. (i think thats their fandom name--?) but I really like this song!! Found out about them first from the weekly idol episode they did with DAY6 haha. I'm so glad they got a win TT Been a long time coming. Wishing for their success years to come~

The song is titled "Let it Die" by Chinese singer, Yoga Lin. It's pretty unique and nice~ I like the lyrics too haha~

Hmm... It was pretty toned down compared to the music I typically listen to but I enjoyed it. Probably won't go on a playlist but I wouldn't be opposed if I heard it playing somewhere.

admittedly i’m not the biggest fan of kpop usually, but i really liked this one! it’s such a feel-good sounding tune, and the fact that i really like zara larsson’s voice probably helps too! all of their voices mesh so nicely together.

never really listened to bastille before even though i knew of them. i like how unique it is and theres a really smooth feel to it. personally, i just dislike the sound? its a perfectly good song but i suppose it just doesnt really work for me

qrizzly I DONT EVEN HAVE TO LISTEN BECAUSE THAT'S ON OF MY FAVORITE OST'S OF ALL TIME. Genuinely it's so well written and so well done and sets such an amazing atmosphere... plus it's an absolute bop!
