Create A Backstory For the Character Above You

Dewdrop is, or rather was a simple creature, but with one exception; they could manipulate water. Some believe that they were an experiment, some believed that they were a creature made by an angel for some unknown purpose; whatever the case may be, it was clear that Dewdrop did mean well for others. Dewdrop liked going around their place of residence using their powers for fun or to aid others. However, Dewdrop was rather lonely, they were already quite shy but they didn’t know how to approach others; sometimes their powers went wrong and messed up a bit. They were clearly loved but others, but they were afraid of getting too close to them in fear of getting harmed; Dewdrop sometimes mistook this for actual malice and acted accordingly, withdrawing further.

Until they met another strange creature; that creature lured in Dewdrop with the promise of helping them tame their powers. Once they entered the other creature’s residence, the other creature injured them and replaced Dewdrop’s head with the skull of a bird. Dewdrop was let out after a while, but others avoided them further, in fear of what’s happened to them; Dewdrop kept their kind disposition, but now that everything was afraid of them, they turned to occasional theft in order to survive. They try to keep it rare, but they find themselves stealing just a bit more every time, and they sometimes fear that they’re stealing more and more often; they also find themselves sometimes acting desperate or even violent at times. They never go too far, but they’re not sure on how long this will last.

They also sometimes see the creature responsible for this out of the corner of their eye; they try to go after the creature but when they get there, they are greeted with nothingness. Whatever it may be, Dewdrop is determined to try to get back to their old life, but that’s secondary to their main goal: survival.

Ruse was once an illusion themselves, a mere concept of one's desire to twist a mind to fit their own needs. It wasn't the strength of a singular person, but many individuals that allowed this manipulation to fester into a living, breathing humanoid who then resided in the all-too-known dimension, the Lobby. Ruse was everything a naive person could only interpret as trusting and influential. The rich blue of their skin calmed others, giving them a feeling of passive loyalty, the warm and bright colors of their genetics and attire brought them back to a time of innocence when their childhood was just as bright.

It wasn't long until the Lobby became what it was meant to be, a safe haven of "truth". Ruse used individuals' false ideas to create everything they could ever hope for. All walks of life yearned for just a piece of the Lobby, a piece of Ruse's security. These people and beings were driven mad by their desperation for sweetness in their sour world. It came to a point where Ruse could say anything and everything, no matter how ridiculous, and the weak would believe it. Ruse was so manipulatively powerful, that for a moment in time, they could have believed what they were dishing out of their mouth as well... but they didn't.

Ironically, Ruse was the only one who knew the meaning of reality. Eventually, it seemed as if the only person who couldn't receive the satisfaction of false beliefs was them. It was like the weight of lies every sick soul believed in was suddenly stacked on top of Ruse's back. They only ignore this by creating more lies for a temporary distraction.

The Lobby still exists for now, and with each passing day, Ruse hangs on to it for their one twisted enjoyment... whether Ruse will eventually break themselves and the dimension they have created is only for the future to tell.

Vada doesn't know it, but inside of her, something more powerful rests. The old soul of the first pharoh himself rests inside of her. She is a resuresction of him, yet she doesn't know it. Destiny and fate calls her to the thrones of Egypt, and yet she doesn't understand. The old pharohs that walk the skies wish they could tell her, however, they can only watch from the world they live in.
