This is a bit of an experimental thread and I'm not sure if people will be interested in it, but it sounded fun so let's see how it goes!
You most likely have a vision of how you see your OCs which might strongly differ from others' vision of your characters. Some things that are obvious to you may not be obvious to others, and vice versa, so seeing what others notice most about your character can be an interesting read.
In this thread, you write a description of another person's character in your own style and vision.
Rules and guidelines
▶︎ Claim IC as the OC you'd like described before editing your post! That way you don't get ninja'd.
▶︎ Stay civil, don't insult the character or go beyond playful joking and IC judgment.
▶︎ Only use characters who have at least knee-up artwork! You can specify if only some artwork in their gallery is to be used for the description and to add design notes in your claim.
▶︎ I hate imposing minimums, but please write at least four sentences, preferably at least a decent paragraph. You can go all in and write as much as you wish for the upper limit.
▶︎ Up to you if you write something down to earth, something more literary, or a mix. You can even make your OC describe them!
▶︎ Posting in this thread gives the person you're writing for permission to use your description, if clearly credited.
▶︎ You can structure your description however you wish, no guidelines. But if you don't know what to write, here are some ideas:
▸Body: age; height, weight, and their relation to the character's fat and muscle distribution; shoulder, chest, waist, and hip ratio; notable scars, freckles, tattoos, and markings; body hair and/or fur; bodily health and cleanliness; extra or missing appendages; other notable features; poses, posture, and the story they tell through them.
▸Face: details about the nose (length, bridge, tip); eyes (shape, colours); jawline; mouth and teeth; facial hair and (eye)brows; ears; facial markings and tattoos; jewellery and piercings; resting and prominent expressions and demeanour you can tell from their art as well as the personality and attitude it radiates
▸Hair: style, colour, length, texture, highlights, cleanliness, care taken for it.
▸Clothing: prominent pieces of clothing worn; layers that are visibly worn above each other; fashion style and time period; personal style intertwined into it; weather they're dressed for; class; care for looks.
▸Other things: magic used; special objects they have with them; special effects like a glitch.

Down to earth description
"This man - named Florence, I've heard - is a small athletic built demon. He dresses for the cold, meaning that above his green wool shirt with olive markings, his green wool trousers, and that light brown battleskirt he wears around the waist, he also wears some equally thick pieces. A long sleeved shirt, the body is dark green and the sleeves are a lighter green in colour; a sturdy black leather tunic, its elegance coming from the horizontal layers of the leather and the metal parts that decorate the shoulders of the piece as well as the two insignias on the chest area; a dark green wool overshirt over the leather, and a thick cloak draped over his shoulders.
What is most notable about him isn't his clothing, but his face and his actions. He looks a bit older thanks to his goatee and prominent bags under his emerald eyes, but his round face looks more fitting for a younger teen. Long brown hair that's well taken care of partially covers his pointed ears, which together with his short black horns and a tail that ends in an arrowhead gives away his species. Should he take off his many layers, it'd be visible that he has well built arms and shoulders."
Literary description
"In front of me I see a young demon with a worn out face and a lot of layers to his clothing. Looks like he just got out of a blizzard, but I don't remember it being that cold outside. He must be tired judging by the bags under his green eyes and the slight annoyance to the tone of his voice. He keeps on his cloak despite being inside. Combined with his chestpiece, his overshirt, the pelt wrapped around his waist, those green wool trousers, and the thick leather boots, he looks like he's not far away from a heat stroke.
He looks rich, a little pretentious, judging from the leather and metal composition of the chestpiece under his cloak and overshirt that he refuses to take off. I've seen him pass a ball of light between both gloved hands in his time I've been observing him. He doesn't seem all too scared to use forbidden magic, and despite his height he stands proud and mighty, like he's above anyone he meets here."

Ren seems reminiscent of a diety with her flowing celeste hair and modest but lustrous dress, she has this air of elegance to her. Her outfit beautifully contrasts her complexion, her hair framing her face and abundance of bows complimenting her dainty appearance. Her eyes are a similar blue as her hair, deep and striking so they stand out nicely. Her outfit just as ornate as her hair, suits her perfectly with pinstriped bows, a fitted bodice, and pale thigh highs decorated by hints of gold. Overall she's incredibly well kept and perfect in most of every way, her painted nails being a nice touch on top of her intricacies.

Gahagsfhaha this is perfectly aligned with how I see him. I do think he looks like a horse, this was so fun to read, I can’t thank you enough for the effort.
"Alright gang, I'm gonna need all of ya to keep an eye out for the guy I'm 'bout to describe. I keep seein' him 'round lately, and I think he might be onto somethin' he shouldn't even be lookin' at if ya get me. No I don't have a picture; snappin' shots of randoms on the street ain't exactly a good way to divert suspicion now is it? You're just gonna have to put up with visualizin' him okay? Someone take notes on this too- I don't wanna hear anyone complainin' about forgettin' the description.
He's got a long angular kinda face I'd say; sorta looks like a horse if ya ask me, but I ain't judgin'. His hair's a little short n... what's the word? Dammit, I should know this... Coiffed? Like, it's slightly little curly, but the front's usually styled in a way that it doesn't look it all that much. Looks greasy too, but I can't tell if it's from product or if he's just an oily bastard. He's got these pretty big sideburns too- you literally can't miss 'em. ...What's that? Hair color? Shit... I think it's like a dark brown? It's either that or black; I'd need to see him again in some good lightin' to tell.
He's got a big nose, but not in the portrudin' sorta way. It's just long y'know? Straight too if I'm rememberin' correctly. Right, and glasses; he's got these little rectangular ones that're tinted orange. They're nowhere as cool as mine though. You can also see his eyes through 'em, and I think they're brown? Again, it's one of those things where I can't tell if it's brown or black, and the glasses definitely aren't helpin' with that. Is there anythin' about the face I'm forgettin'...? Mm, he has pretty thin lips I guess? I usually see it crooked into either a nervous smile or an anxious frown; the guy looks like he's bein' held at gunpoint either way. He's sometimes got a cig between his teeth too I guess.
Pretty average build if ya ask me. The only thing about it that stands out about it is that he's kinda tall. Whaddya mean 'do you know how tall he is?'- do I look like his fuckin' doctor? He's 'round my height, alright. ...No, I don't know exactly how tall I am. Look, his specific measurements aren't important! You lot are just tryna get me off track. Just look out for a guy who's roughly my height, alright! And before one of you smartasses pipes up or starts to even think about reportin' anyone n everyone who's my height, the guy better also fit the rest of my description!
Anyways, he's got a pretty borin' sense of fashion if ya ask me. Looks like he could either be a pencil pusher, a door-to-door salesman, or a gumshoe, not that there's much of a difference between the first and last two. Always wears a basic white button-up and a tie; usually a black one, but I've seen him in this terrible orange-ish beige lookin' outfit before too. He even has a little clip on his tie like it'll do anythin' for him. Shirt's always fully buttoned and tucked into his slacks, so I'd bet he either cares about lookin' professional or he's got some sorta dress code he has to follow. Either way, the guy could stand to inject a bit of disorder into his presentation.
The slacks he wears 're usually brown- save for the aforementioned orange-ish beige one, who let him go out in that jesus christ- and they're always held up by your average black belt from what I've seen. He's always got somethin over his shirt too; I dunno if he gets cold easily or what, but I've never seen him out n about without at least two layers. His go-to seems to be a black trench coat, so look out for that. Sometimes he'll go with a blazer instead, but it's usually the trench coat. Regardless of which he wears, it definitely helps sell the 'thankless 9-5 worker' vibe he's got goin' on. Last thing of note I can think of are his shoes, which are always dress shoes of some sort. I didn't get a good look at 'em- I got better things to do that starin' at a potential fed's shoes- but my money's on either oxfords or loafers.
Again, keep a lookout for anyone who matches what I've said. He might just be some random schmuck who ain't up to nothin', but better safe than sorry where the cops might be concerned. Meetin' adjourned or whatever. Now, who's up for riggin' a pipe bomb in Mel's livin' room again?"
Smol Mew is a small, energetic green kitten. He is never seen without a lighter green collar with a clean silver tag attached, which jingles whenever he walks. Smol Mew has large, bright, affectionate green eyes (which does not in fact hold the braincell). His form seems to be whatever he wants it to be, able to grow and retract limbs and at times becomes 'soup'.
Purple-grey skin....
Haimati has seen plenty of that in her time, usually among the shadow creatures, only in certain realms though. She supposes that the person standing buy her looks nice enough. Not exactly her type but she does appreciate long pointed ears. Most people would probably call what he has a mane of plum purple hair. She calls it midnight purple. It seems well groomed all in all and it goes well with his black attire. She might wear something like that.
There is something about him though. Somethi he she can't stand. She decides that she loaths person. But they aren't a person now are they? Haimati often blurry hatred and discomfort, loathing and fear. They are one and the same to her. It is the wings, she realizes, thick and black and not dissimilar to her mother's. And those legs. The bird like legs.
She shudders. This whatever he is...he is reminding her of things that terrify her and she can't stand it. But he has such a friendly demeanor. Most people do. Haimati doesn't like most people.

Okay, she's thin, pale, has half her hair shaved, it's an icy white with a checkerboard pattern dyed on the short part. Small but pointy nose, big blue eyes, and to be frank, a bit too many piercings. Heavy, dark, makeup, dark clothing- uh... don't ask me to name human subcultures. Uh, punk, goth, scene, one of those. Lots of chains, lots of black, she has a guitar. You figure it out.
Has a bad attitude, but I can't judge. Yelled at me. Said something about possesion? Not.. sure which one of us managed that..."
BLACKBIRD is not of this world and he certainly looks like it. He has a very creative demon design that I can't recall seeing before. He appears to have no nose, no mouth, no ears, but instead has three pairs of bright round beady eyes; almost like those of a spider. Extending from the sides of his head are long yellow horns and two pairs of small purple wings. It would be interesting to know if these have some kind of functionality for him. BLACKBIRD is abnormally tall compared to humans, has a slender frame, and his color pallet is dark with a few bright accents. Interestingly, he doesn't appear to have fingers or claws. He wears a purple robe of some sort of feathery material and that seems to be all of his apparel. I'm curious to know what his skin would feel like if I were to touch it. BLACKBIRD has two pairs of large purple wings on his back. He also has very thick, chicken-like avian legs.
I looked through some of the drawings and most of the time he seems to wear white, either short or long sleeved shirts, either with suspenders or anything ranging from a necktie of sorts whether it be bowtie or a normal necktie. When he does wear something of another color it's usually vibrant and cool looking.
Now onto his hair, this guy has the most unique hairstyle that even I can't pinpoint what it is really [I'm not an expert on hairstyles]. Many people with this hairstyle walked so this dude can run, he seems to have a nice black hair color that probably shines a blue indigo color when under some sort of light.
Eyes are just as full of life like a plant that just bloomed, his eyes have the most vibrant brown color, they look like they can fit for a snickers bar, eyelashes are just as stunning as his hair, never before have I seen someone with eyelashes that are just as stunning as his hair. His eyelashes are just as good like his circle of friends eyelashes not gonna lie.
Color palette usually consists a good and spectacular amount of brown white black and blue, my favorite part some of the drawings he has have so much blue it's fantastic, brilliant even! I love it! My favorite parts are the drawings that have different colors besides blue!
