Give advice to the OC above you!

I don't think I've seen one like this around, so...

Is there something your OC is worried about or stuck on? Are they burning with a question YOU don't quite know how to answer? Try asking somebody else's OC for advice!

This is pretty simple. Post IC and ask the user below you for advice on something. The next person to post will post IC and give advice to your OC, then they'll ask for advice for themself! So it'll look something like this:

Character A: "I'm worried my friends don't like me anymore. What should I do?"
Character B: "You should try to take them aside and chat with them, let them know how you feel! I'm sure it just seems that way, but there's probably just something else going on!"
"As for me... No matter how hard I try, I just can't focus on my work! Is there anything I can do to make it easier?"

And so on. If you'd like, feel free to edit your post and have your OC respond to the advice the person below gave you, too!

RULES:

1. Be polite! Don't use a call for advice as an opportunity to chew a character out, whether IC-ly or not... They're asking for help, so give them some!
2. Try to put at least some effort into your advice. They'll appreciate it!
3. Wait at least 4 people before posting again. However, if the thread goes a few days without new posts, feel free to go again to get it back into action.
4. If, for whatever reason, you have problems with somebody in this thread, let me know and I'll do what I can to fix it.

Have fun!

Nikolai Byko PicklePantry

Nikolai laughed while lounging on a couch. "What more do you expect of humans, dearie? Such dependent creatures, aren't they? You're no different. Didn't raise a leader, hmm? No back up plans? Now, now, I thought you leaders thought of everything, hmm?" he chuckled. "Yes, well, enough of my rudeness. You've a memorial, don't you, dearie? I assume not everyone died like you believe if that exists, correct? If you're truly that full of regret, I suggest becoming a guardian deity of your kingdom, or at the very least a guardian angel for someone," he yawned.

"Alright, dearies, I'm having a bit of difficulty deciding between whether to order Chinese food or pizza. I'm more in the mood for pizza, quite honestly, but the one who delivers Chinese food is oh-so attractive~
"And I suppose on a more serious note, as much fun as it is breaking all of these poor dearies' hearts, I'm getting rather... bored of it. I do so hope I'm not developing morals. Do you think that's the case, darling? Or is it more me just needing a break?"

natalia lauritsen melchior

(i imagine she'd answer this one as the persona 'laurie')

"I mean, honestly? I'd go for the Chinese food. Pizza is just SO greasy, and you could probably drop the delivery person a hint by leaving a tip, or something. I'm not sure how 'attractive' we're talking here - if they're really that cute, I'd suggest you just seize the opportunity." Laurie paused for a moment, restlessly fussing over her fingernails. "And, uh.. for the other thing? I guess I kind of know how you feel, being bored of something that once thrilled you, especially something so reckless. It really depends.. do you feel like you're developing morals? Like, do you feel kinda guilty as the end result, or reluctant in any way that you weren't before? It's all about looking for changes, in my opinion - if something just isn't 'right' all of a sudden, there's gotta be something that's changed to make it the way it currently is. If that's the case, I guess your best option is to look for a new hobby - perhaps one just as, if not more reckless, than the one you currently indulge in?"

She took another moment to ponder, before returning from her haze of thought. "I mean, even if that isn't the case, and you just need a little break from it all, take it from me - sometimes it's fun to have a clean slate, even if it means posing as a completely different person!" Laurie giggled, winking with a grin that was almost menacing.

"As for me, I find myself feeling-- ah, how do I put it? Lost? I think that describes it, yeah.. I sort of feel lost from time to time. It's something that kinda bugged me when I was younger, especially before I had a proper grasp on this whole 'persona' thing I try to keep up - it's always been something that's kept me grounded, almost like a way to remind myself how to act and think, in some situations. I don't wanna say it's making me have an identity crisis, but.. maybe? I don't know. I just feel so confused all of the time, like I'm missing something to make me sort of, y'know, know myself. Is there any way I can re-ground myself?"

yudeph

Awww, don't worry. I'm actually a lot like you, and I'm not really an expert on these things, but just try to be yourself! Take a look at your belongings, try to remember a time when you were still normal. That should get you regrounded!

As for me...well, I have a few problems. I have a huge dislike of humans, due to how they frequently experiment on us dragons...I had a friend who was kidnapped by a human and went missing several months ago. I've been trying to warm up to them, but I just can't...is there any way I can get over this?

303 Databuffer

303 slams a fist on the table, and stands fast enough to knock down his chair. He was either too excited to care, or wanted the effect it gave. Likely both.

"Hate humans? Kill them! Prove a lesson!" He boisterously shouted. "Make a point that no one is to fuck with you, or your kind, and not end up at the receiving end of..." He paused, before making a vague gesture to Deph as an entirety "... whatever dragons can do. Breath fire, yea? Worst case scenario, just pummel them into a pile of pain- easy! Vent that uhh... what'd you call it? Dislike? Yeah. Get that all out, and make sure no one messes with you. Win-win right? 'cept for the guys who destroy I guess, but they had it coming!"

"'K, so, I've got this little problem. Tiny, weak, awful... repulsive.... cowardly man called Venusian. Real piece of garbage. Meant to kill him, but he slipped away like the slimy rat he is, and went missing. Gone. No Trace- but well uh, recently I got tipped off that the jerk is on some backwards planet, laying low until I forget so uh..... whats my best course of action? I'm thinking I just run in there beat the crap out of him while he's caught with his pants down- metaphorically. Or would it be better to just do that um.... Lulling thing- whats the... y'know, make him think he's safe, then I roll up and punch him? Dunno what to do..."

Sol Nocturne

"It'd be unwise to lay an attack on someone in such a forceful manner." Sol briefly shakes his head in disapproval, "I've seen many of those like you who are incapable of witty combat. Though I don't wish to expose myself in such a manner, I shall briefly share some tactics with you in hopes of your success. There's no need to pretend to be on their side until the enemy is weakened; such acts are simply a waste of time. Watch your enemy closely and keep him on your radar- even if it means following him for days. Now- don't go telling me that it's also a waste of time; but trust me, it'll do you benefit. Just relax. Drink some tea. Read a book or something to pass time- just never let him our of your senses. Soon you'll be able to read his movements in an expert manner. When the time is right- go for it. Quick and clean- as if nobody were to ever see a single thing."

"Somebody tell me- how does one convince themselves that they are who they are- without the influence of some possessive, demonic entity that is constantly gnawing at them from deep down? This feeling, it makes me feel.. lost, somewhat. I carry a heavy title with a heavy burden, though I've learned to do things my own way- even so, this power I have.. the demonic entity eats me alive whenever it possesses me. I can never think with a straight mind."

Smiley PicklePantry

"Are you saying you want a purpose in life? Silly, silly, there's no need for that when you live forever. :) Or maybe that purpose is to listen to those voices in your head. :) The voices aren't bad, they only want to help. They're nice, and teach you how to use your powers. That's how they are for me, at least. :)"

"There are times when I want to take this bag off. Sometimes it's because I can't walk around like this or I'll get arrested, and sometimes it's so I don't embarrass someone special to me. :) However, I don't like the idea of showing, if even for an instance, me not smiling. I can't just keep a smile on my face, either, it's impossible even for me, hence the bag. :) What should I do?"

Naria Kaneko YunaNoire

Naria just barely hears the problem as she's busy tapping away at her phone, as per usual. Her scarlet gaze is fixated and completely interlocked with her phone screen, without a hint of her interest wavering. It's only after a few moments of pregnant silence that she locks her phone, momentarily and turns to face Rae, with a dull, weary look to her eyes. The bags and rings under her eyes are almost like scars by this point, they've been there so long and there is very little energy within those otherwise brightly colored eyes.

"You should consider yourself lucky... but I get the feeling you want an actual solution." Humming to herself plainly, she folded her arms beneath her hefty bust and pondered any smidge of advice, so she could possibly get back to her phone. Given that she hadn't had much sleep for years, she found it a little hard to sympathise with the plight of the stranger. Eventually she just sighed and shrugged, shaking her head.

"You could try going to a doctor...? That could really be an actual problem. My only other guess is... you've got a demon problem..." Her tone was so matter of fact, it was as if demons were merely a common ailment. But given her experience, it was the only other solution she could think of. "Could definitely be the work of demons. I've dealt with plenty of people who have had a similar problem so... if you want rid of that demon, I can always give you a hand... for a price of course."

A large yawn escaped from her lips suddenly and she began to stretch out upwards. As she pushes at her back, she groans and grunts, seemingly in pain.  "Dammit... I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask about this..." As she ceases her straining, she lets out an exasperated sigh. "My back hurts. Especially at this time of year. Help me fix it. Or don't... I doubt anything will work."

Paeton Dedrick dogstarlite

"Hm. I recommend taking baths with magnesium. Hot water, of course, to loosen the muscles. Make yourself chamomile tea. The stronger it is, the more effective it will be. Do try and drink cactus juice throughout the year. It is better to prevent than to fix."

There follows a silence. Paeton cocks their head to one side and, eventually, asks, "No matter how hard I try, people will not listen to reason. How do I get the populace to believe me, to join in preventing the spread of the plague?"
