"Oh, hey, it's you again!" Val smiled brightly when he recognized NV. "You know, you always ran off before I could, but I wanted to say I really like your coat. It looks good on you, the green against the bandages and the light shirt is really pretty." He nodded as if he was to approve his own judgement. "And it looks very comfy, too! Beautiful and comfy, the best combination, isn't it?" Okay, he was way too excited now. Poor NV. "And the bright bandages really kind of bring out your eye I think? You have a very nice eye." he hoped that was not an awkward thing to say, but it was just the truth! NV had a striking appearance and he thought they were really cool. "I'm sorry I'm not good with words and things, I just think you do look really unique, in the best way possible!" Val gave them another warm smile. "The symbols as well, I think I have seen them before but I don't know what they mean." he awkwardly cleared his throat. "I am so sorry for throwing that all at you-", he guessed he knew why they would avoid him, "- I just- please just know I mean what I'm saying? People pointing out your looks can be uncomfortable, I know that... I'm sorry, uhm..." now he did not know what to say anymore, oops.

 “Oh, that looks nasty,” Mary breathed. “Are you sure a bandage would cover that bruise?” she added. The older lady gently held Val’s arm in her hands. “I’ve got some bandages to cover it up,” she offered. “They aren’t as colourful as your other plasters,” she said while flicking her hair behind her ears. She smiled at Val.
“Actually, now that I think of it.. I don’t think it would match the rest of your outfit,” she said. Her gaze flicked over their outfit for a brief second. “I think you’re dressed really cute, though,” she added. “Your outfit reminds me of a sailor… But cuter! Way cuter! I don’t like those broody fishing-guys,” she said. Then quickly smiled.
“I don’t think I can pull that off, I wish I could, though! But I think I would get a frostbite,” she joked as she finally let go of Val’s arm. Mary got up. She dusted some grass from her dress. “Right! Let me quickly grab those bandages and get you back on your feet,” the shepherd said. “Just keep that arm steady, I’ll be right back!” 

Sadly for Mary, she did not have Nerine this time. This time, she had Sophia, who was worse in every way on the basis of being as dull as a spoon, and who left a satchel on the ground before the other woman.

"Diadrakos wanted me to hand this over to you." She droned out, as she studied the other woman. "It's tea. Again. I'm sure you're sick of her tea by now."

For a moment, Sophia's gaze lingered on Mary, on her clothing. "I've never been one for dresses -- I haven't worn one since I was a girl -- but at least what you have is breathable, yes?" It was hardly a kind comment, simply one reflecting on the 'usefulness' of Mary's outfit. But, so then she continued, "Do you make your clothing out of your sheep's wool? I couldn't think of any other reason why you would have so many of them out here..." She gazed across the meadow, growing wary. Something didn't seem right about all of those sheep.

"I would hope that living out here alone, you're any good at stitching it together." It seemed that way. Getting a skirt snagged on brambles and stones... [ough.] "It is a fine piece, I suppose, for the long term. I'm worried, though. Where do you sleep out here..?"

   Tarus observes Sophia’s outfit with intrigue. He gives her a smile. “Your clothing gives me cottage core vibes. It reminds me of a small village I used to live in” He circles her once more. “Very Bruce choice of clothing, not too flashy and not too dull.” Tarus gives her a thumbs up.

(Tarus is most comfortable wearing formal attire. Mainly suits/tuxedos, dress shirts, etc. When he is at home relaxing he’ll wear jeans and long sleeve shirts. He loves the comfort of tight fitting clothing.)

   Tarus blushed at the compliments. “Aw thanks!”

Mixo observes Tarus's outfit. "Not bad, my good sir." Mixo exclaims, "While I don't personally have an interest in tuxedos, I do say, you do look good in a tuxedo yourself!" Mixo spots Tarus's bowtie, "I must also say, that is a very nice Bowtie, maybe I should replace my scarf with it, unfortunately, that would take quite some work, and I'm not the type of guy to wear suits or bowties on most occasions, I prefer clothing that's quite comfortable, at least in my opinion." Mixo says, "That doesn't mean your outfit is bad, I, myself do like your outfit a lot." Mixo hands Tarus a note saying 'You look great!' and walks away.

Coco sees this little bean. Her eyes widen at the pink little scarf. “Oh, so cute! And pastely! Like I am immediately reminded of Candyland.” “And those shorts... how do you make winter and summer clothes work together so well? And are those converse shoes?”

Chance looks Coco up and down with a raised eyebrow. They guessed it was some sort of uniform, but were unsure what sort of organization required a uniform like that. "That suit seems rather tight and conspicuous in that color, but if it works for you, who am I to judge? I do admit I like the shoes, though."

Alex smirked a bit at Chance, not really of superiority. He just liked the outfit on em. Simple as “well, could just be me enjoying comfort- but” he tugged a bit at his scarf “if you had one of these it’d do your already great outfit better”

“It’s very… you,” 

Desmond started, holding his chin inquisitively as he silently judged Alex’s clothes. In truth, the outfit was much too boring for his tastes, but it DID go well with Alex’s hair and complexion, he thought. 

“…But I’d say the most your outfit’s got going for you, is that it makes me wanna look at your face instead. I mean, there’s just nothing THERE. It looks fine on ya, very coordinated, It’s just missing something that would pull it together. Make my eyes stay. Probably just me though, I like flashier shit on people.”

"Only the greatest band of all time," Desmond folded his arms as he listened to Maribelle. "Seriously, we have GOT to introduce you to more stuff when I get the chance. And yes, I mean a 5-hour mcr marathon, oldest album to newest, AND the concert vids, go."
His face slightly blanked in disappointment from her observation about his clothes, but he was happy with the attention nonetheless. "Say what you will, but girls love it. AND it makes me look sexy as hell. Same reason I've got this;" He made a v-shape with his fingers and stuck his tongue through it to show off the piercing.
 "Only hurts for like, two weeks, then you forget it's even there. I've got more, but I don't think I can show ya unless we're, like, really good friends, if you know what I'm saying." His mouth quickly upturned in an overly smug grin. "Aaaand, about that, I'd say fuck it, do what you want, who cares about that shit? What's anybody's relationship to a parent without showin them some attitude every now and then? It's your life, not theirs! I think you'd look good with one."~

"It's..." Maribelle fell quiet. What did she know about this sort of clothing? She had never seen anyone wear a... She narrowed her eyes at the print on Desmond's shirt. What was that? Chicken scratch?

"What's a My Chemical Romance?" Nothing Maribelle needed to be concerned about, lest she become an actual goth and not just whatever she is now. Does My Chemical Romance even count as goth? The semantics have been lost on Vapor since she was fourteen. Maribelle also didn't know what a goth was. All she knew was that Desmond's clothing was rather... well, it was bizarre. As grateful as she was that he had taken her to a salon, there was positively no way she would personally let him pick an outfit for her.

"I mean, if 'rave-going douchebag' is what you're going for, then I guess it works." She droned out, but then shuddered. "..But, doesn't it hurt to have a pierced tongue? I've never done much, only ever had my ears pierced when my father got me some ear rings. He'd lose his shit if he saw me with a tongue piercing. Or saw me talking to you. Actually." All six of her dads probably apply here.

"It's um... well! A statement, I'd say. I've said before that I think capes should come back into style... I mean, I see you wear that thing all the time... fits your person, I guess. I don't know though, those boots... are they comfortable? They go up pretty high."

Mark's expression suddenly changed to one of confusion, then to concern. "I don't really get it though. I know I pretty much refuse to be seen in something that isn't black, but... I mean, you just look like you're going to a funeral, that's all. The button-up has a bit of an... oppressive energy to it. You don't... you don't dress like someone that's happy."

He paused and took a breath. "I don't know; I just get the feeling that there's a lot of stuff you wanna let out, and that you're not in a good place or something; it takes one to know one, I guess."

"Eurgh!" Cried Acer, seemingly disgusted by Mark's choice of fashion. "This isn't fancy at all!" His frown only deepened the longer he looked at it. "It's so... Dull... And casual. I want high fashion! Where is everyone's manners nowadays?!"

"Ah well, it's very," Xander pressed his fingers together. Then his lips. "You," he concluded. "I think your clothes are very telling about your personality," he said. Xander's fingertips relaxed, but his frown deepened. "Pardon me if I don't say this correctly, but, it is very gloomy. Right? I mean, the black," he gestured at Tom's hoodie. "The skull," he added in a softer tone. "Are you feeling okay, sir? If not, don't feel ashamed to… Uh. Talk about your feelings."

"Well, it's certainly not something I would wear myself, but, it seems to fit you really well. You certainly do pull it off. It's very fancy. I do really like the feathers adorning the hat though. Yes. Your outfit suits you well. I can tell you like it."
