Your OC is forced to marry the OC above!

Posted 6 years, 4 months ago (Edited 5 years, 7 months ago) by colorful

EDIT: PLEASE ONLY BUMP THE THREAD EVERY 2 HOURS PER PERSON! Also, refrain from posting characters under 18!

I've thought of this weird idea after listening to some love songs and even wedding songs. This is probably the forum game we never needed, but I'll still post it for the heck of some giggles. So, how the heck does this work?

This is like Persona Q's Group Date Cafe dungeon, except it's completely random.

As you entered the place you were supposed to enter, you encounter something else. You are surrounded by sculptures of angels and adornments of white ribbons and bows with roses at the middle. The warm sunshine pierced through the colorful stained glass, emitting kaleidoscopic reflections. As you look up, you see the sacred illustrations at the ceiling.

You're confused. Tried to move, you noticed something off... Your clothes... Instead of what you last wore, your clothes changed to that of a bride/groom's due to some unknown phenomena. As you look straight to the altar, someone is waiting for you.

In short, you're getting married prior your notice.

Now I've explain what the heck's going on, let's proceed with the rules:

  • Your character must be above 18 years old.
  • Unless 24 hours have passed, you can only post every after 3 posts.
  • Please have at least 3 sentences in your reply. Although this is a crack roleplay thread, please be literate and legible with your replies.
  • Claim a post when you have a rad idea for a reply.
  • Please tell if you want your OC's sexuality to be respected. Though since this is a crack thread, I don't really mind for myself, surprise me.
  • Please, make your bio readable to logged in users, at least. If you were to post a locked character, you will be skipped without your notice.
  • Remember, this is just a crack thread and this is an AU, and this will never be canon. OCs who are taken can also take part, if you don't mind the cursed NTR.
  • Though if you really want to marry the OC above you, might as well ask the user about it before actually marrying them.
  • Rules can be changed anytime.

How does this work?

It's hard to explain it with words and I can't type as much since my back hurts, but let's do it like this. Don't imitate my examples, though.

  • 1st guy
  • 2nd guy: "Y-You've got to be kidding me. There's no way I'll marry someone as sacrilegious as you! In fact, I am already married! Well why would you...?!"
  • 3rd guy: "W-Why am I marrying this guy?! I mean, we're both guys and I only like pretty girls! He reeks, too!"
  • and so on...

Samaël Raffaëlle (Modern) EclipsedShadowK

Desrosiers looks at Isolde, who is being dragged against her will. Her tail sways under the wedding dress that she did not even pick. She sighs and looks at the officiator of the wedding.
Desrosiers whispers, "Est-il possible d'annuler le mariage maintenant ?"
"And why is that?" Asks the officiator. Desrosiers looks at the woman who is kicking and screaming.
"Euhhh... Serait-il préférable de ne pas se précipiter ? Je ne connais cette femme."
"No."
Desrosiers looks back at Isolde, who is still being dragged against her will. "Bordel de putain de merde... Je n'ai jamais voulu de cela non plus..."

Looks like this will be an awkward time at the altar with the half angel, half demon sympathizing for the poor woman the entire time.

Évariste Sanguinetti (Modern) Nuclear-Hydrangea

claim >:3c EclipsedShadowK

Today is the day, Évariste was all adorned in all black and red clothes from the Victorian era.  The upcoming punk show will start soon at District 8 of Zürich in a punk bar. Desrosiers wasn't present here either, as they are usually with him inside the room. Could be for medical reasons perhaps. As soon as he comes out in the room with his violin, a resident wanted to give him a surprise. Assuming it was related to the punk show later, the resident blindfolded Évariste and assisted him to walk until they descend onto the infoshop section of the squat. It was silent than usual, but the goth and deathrock tunes still fill the area despite the closing. Perhaps they decided to close it for some "special occasion". What's weirder is that the songs playing were themed around love? That 2019 mix of Sacrifice again, and then the original one, then Spider and the Fly. Must have been because those are Évariste's favorite songs, and even Desrosiers? No...

The squat resident removed the black blindfold Évariste wore, only leading the chemist shaking his head, looking back and forth what happened, with his face flushed out from confusion. "What on earth is going on here" Balloons of red and black everywhere, roses filled the area, and what's odd is that everyone seems to be in their fancy fits, including Desrosiers who, was also blindfolded but dressed in a dark, elegant gown. The med student's face signals confusion as much as Évariste. Was it some kind of elaborate prank, the two were rumored as lovers in the past. Which is true, but marriage is one thing they are yet to be planned. They have no choice but to play along, Évariste and Desrosiers held their hands despite their confusion. "I know I have deeper feelings with him but, why this?" They knelt at pillows that mimics the pews that is used at a marriage.

The officiator came just behind the doors of the infoshop's counter. Oh, it's that ghost poet who just recently ate the vampire fruit, the one that started the rumors since their friendship between Évariste and Desrosiers. "Seriously" Évariste raised his eyebrows, as soon as Celeste faced the couple, acting as the officiator of this "surprise wedding". "Did you just plan this big prank because of how I am too close with Samael?" There was silence, no choice but to proceed to initiate the wedding rites.

(v thank you for the sprite compliment :D)

Four "Mine" Aloofcloud

((I love the little walking sprite on the profile, SO CUTE))

Four found herself in the worst possible situation she could imagine - forced into a marriage with someone she had never met. Her eyes, wide as an owl's, blinked repeatedly in the hope that it might break her free from this predicament, but it was to no avail. She turned to Évariste, hoping to gauge his emotions. Was he nervous too? Did he want this marriage as little as she did? She couldn't tell. With a heavy heart, she looked back at the marriage contract that lay before her.

This couldn't be happening to her. They must have confused her with someone else. If only they could realize their mistake, perhaps they would call off the wedding, sparing Four from this ordeal. But that would mean revealing her true identity, something she struggled with greatly.

Four's mind raced with questions. Who was Évariste? What was he like? What kind of life would she have as his wife? Was she even ready for this kind of commitment? And what about her own secrets? Could she keep them hidden from him? Or would they come out eventually, and ruin everything?

As she pondered these questions, Four's eyes began to mist over. She didn't want this. She didn't want to be a forced into something. She wanted to make her own choices, to live her own life, on her own terms.

Four pushed the marriage contract away from herself with trembling hands, her heart racing in her chest. She could feel her palms becoming slick with sweat, and her throat felt dry as she tried to speak. She knew she had to say something, to speak up for herself, but the words stuck in her throat. "I think," she started, her voice barely more than a whisper, "that you might have me mistaken for someone else..." Her words were weak, barely audible, and she struggled to keep her voice from shaking.

FUJIN HOW CUTE))

 Fujin Gomji

(asbjkdba sorry for taking so long, I hope you like it! ;;)

It was a good thing he didn’t take a huge gulp. Fujin coughed as the tea went down the wrong pipe, forcing him to put a hand over his mouth.

MARRIAGE?

Between trying to calm his throat and process what just happened, Fujin found himself facing the wall in disbelief. Never in a million years did he expect to hear his name being mentioned with marriage, ever! It was so odd, so random; how in the world did he end up getting dragged into this? He thought this was just one of those fun little meetings where he could flirt and drink tea, but things escalated way too quickly.

Should he be panicking? Was it normal for your heart to start beating like crazy, to the point it felt like it was going to burst out of your chest? Was it normal to feel terrified and feel like getting the hell out of there? Fujin felt these emotions all at once, but not in the way one would believe. His heart was beating in excitement and the look in his eyes wasn’t that of fear—it was joy! He looked absolutely ecstatic! Now, one may wonder what in the world was going on in his head. It was simple, really—well, at least to Fujin, it was.

The woman before him was an absolute beauty. The way she carried herself was breathtakingly gorgeous; Four had a very gentle air about her, and her timid gestures made her seem much more elegant and picturesque, encouraging Fujin to focus all his energy just to admire her. From an outsider’s perspective, it may have been a bit freaky to see him staring at Four with such an intense stare, those wide unwavering eyes refusing to close-

“How lucky!” His voice boomed. “How incredibly lucky I am, being given the opportunity to marry such a lovely mortal!” Well, she wasn’t one, but it didn't matter. He would probably end up adoring her no matter what. “I’m well aware of the absurdity of this situation, but! I can promise you a life that you’ve always dreamed of! I’ll make you happier than anyone else in the entire universe!” His face radiated with sparkles, his aura screaming with strong determination.

Fujin was told a couple of times that he wasn’t marriage material, but he would prove them wrong! If she wanted some persimmons, he would make a mad dash and bring back hundreds! If she wanted to fly, he would let her up on his cloud and zoom away! He would even put on a shirt if he has to!

He truly would do his absolute best to keep a smile on her face.

v(That was so wholesome omg 😭)

Marriage. An empty vow to bind two together. Something Hanako has more than enough experience in. In both current and past lives. There was a time when he truly felt the appeal to it. The excitement of taking love to the next stage... And that hasn't changed. Only escalated into something more. His love has grown twisted over the years. Becoming something more like grotesque obsession... And poor Virgil was on the receiving end of it.

As he took his first steps down the aisle, his heart was pounding with excitement and nerves. The gentle strains of music floated through the air, filling the chapel with a sense of anticipation. And as they drew closer to the altar, they saw him. Standing there, looking so perfect in his suit, was Virgil. He seemed… out of place. Something like this was no environment for a monster like him after all…  A monster like he claims to be.

And that's exactly what Hanako adores about him.

It was an addiction that he couldn't shake, an obsession that consumed him entirely. The beast Virgil buried deep down behind a face of stone. He craved it with every fiber of his being. He wanted to see it. Every side of it. What it would do if he shattered those restraints of his. How it would react if cornered and left with only an inch of its life… Everything

The thought of it sent shivers up his spine as he finally took his spot at the altar. Where the Officiate then began.

Standing beside Virgil, Hanako’s dress draped down the stairs he just walked over. His attire was a grand one. Fitting for a wedding, but perhaps too imposing for one like this. Adorned with flora and lace. He looked like he just came from a celestial garden…

As the officiate continued, going on about blessings and intent, Hanako couldn't help it. His shoulders shifted ever so slightly, letting out a small giggle. The bouquet of roses moving to cover his face just a bit more.

Through the veil, Hanako looked up at Virgil. The heart in his only remaining eye burning holes into the man's face. Yet they looked at him like he was the most precious thing to exist... like he was the only thing to exist.  And behind the flowers- hiding from the audience. An equivocal smile split Hanako's face. It radiated a certain warmth. A comforting feeling made to soothe any worries and concerns... But in the eyes of another. It had an almost mocking undertone to it. A sly and deceptive grin that would only be visible to his dearest Virgil.

At a certain point in the officiates speech, Hanako parted his lips, colored the same crimson as those Spider lilies he adores so much. Yet no sound came out. His words nothing more than a silent echo. Oh but it was clear. To the one who towered over him, those 'words' of his would drip off his tongue like a drug.

Safe Harbor Sunlocke

Harbor has been following a lead to this location. To the lair of a monster who cuts its own path without regard for what lies in its way, leaving a trail of destruction and discarded playthings wherever it roams. The growing sense of danger as they approach is only to be expected. Harbor allows themself one moment of rest outside the mouth of the cave, to ready their shield and mouth a long-memorized prayer to the goddess, only hoping she’s there to hear it. Goddess protect them from what’s about to happen…

When they take a deep breath and march fearlessly into the dark, the room they emerge into shouldn’t be there, shouldn’t exist. Their shield arm goes slack as the weight vanishes, their other hand coming up to shade their eyes from the bright kaleidoscopic light streaming through towering windows. And when they whirl to look behind them to the exit that’s no longer there, their severe braid has been pinned in elaborate curls to their nape and their movements restricted by the rich fabric and delicate beadwork of what is undoubtedly a bridal dress. If they are to have no escape and no weapon, Harbor steels themself and turns to face their fated spouse-to-be without flinching. Hanako’s involvement, as he stands beaming and radiant at the altar to await them, is admittedly less surprising than the dress was. So it was an ambush, if not the one they expected.

If Harbor is to play the blushing bride in this charade, then they’d best go see what he wants. Their steps towards the sacrificial altar are as sure as ever. A long-term relationship has never been on the cards for them, nothing to devote much thought to, let alone marriage. They travel too much and their grim work keeps others at a distance, whether from fear or disgust. Non-issues for Hanako, of course. Not that this ‘marriage’ is anything more than a farce; then again, it wouldn’t be the first time they’ve committed themself to a false oath, would it?

Hanako looks every inch the expectant fiancé as they come to face him, with his usual warm and soothing smile, his single eye practically beaming hearts at them. Like a lover. Harbor can admit that he’s beautiful… that under other circumstances a sight like this could have taken their breath away, to see their promised one waiting with such intense love pouring from their face. But they know -or at least assume- too much to set adrift in the fantasy he presents. They reach to brush a strand of hair out of his face, taking the delicate white moonflower that had appeared above their ear and tucking it behind his instead as an excuse to lean down close and whisper.

“Your doing, I take it?”

They lean back as the officiant begins to speak, watching his face for any change. Hanako may want them close, a toy to have conveniently within reach, but it goes both ways. Keeping a close eye on him might not be a bad idea. It’s not as though they would have been rid of him unmarried either. Yet when the moment comes, the question of “Do you?” their lips remain pressed tight together, fighting the compulsion to answer although it wins in the end. Is this what it feels like to be nervous?

(...and why not, wedding Harbor for inspiration)

v (No worries, that was honestly strangely sweet, had me smiling! An odd couple, but I can see it... until Qua watches Harbor snort coffee grounds before a mission and instantly files for divorce /j)
