The alien leans down to get a good look at Hana and laughs. He plops down, sitting like a dog so he's closer to her height. "You're wayyyy too short, haha!" He tilts his head curiously, using his left tentacle-like limb to scratch his chin in a mimic of how humans scratch theirs in curiosity. "I thought humans were the only super short race, but guess I was wrong..."
