What's on the OC above's computer?
...or phone or tablet or whatever.
Basically, if you were to log into the OC above's digital device/s, what do you think you'd you find?
36GB of memes? Budgeting spreadsheets? Government secrets? A million viruses?
What operating system would they use? What would their wallpaper be? Would their folders be neat and tidy, or would it be a total bombsite? What's copied to their clipboard? How many tabs to they have open? Whatever you can imagine!
(Even if the character doesn't have access to such technology in-universe, just imagine what you'd find if they did!)

there would probably be a wallpaper of like a meadow with flowers in it or maybe a cute dog, and then there would be a folder with family pictures. then there will be some images in the desktop that are downloaded, probably quotes gotten from google and stuff like that. there would be a few games that are already installed in the computer (like minesweeper, purble place, spider solitaire), or maybe other games downloaded from steam. and then there's another folder with a lot of dog pictures in it. maybe the cursor would be all decorated kinda like that cursormania toolbar thing where you can select decorated versions of your cursor
I think Wallace would probably have a folder that has little tutorials on how to take out unwanted piercings since he has the one in his chin and tongue. When finding the resources for that, he probably typed in the search bar: "Painless way to get these God Damn piercings out?"
Also, he probably has a folder dedicated to nothing but succulent images. He looks at them occasionally if he is feeling upset. Succulent folder = Wallace's happy place.
she seems the type to write digital diaries, maybe bury it in the middle of a boring software folder she thinks no one would care about. i can see her having a lot of beautiful photos of the night sky with the moon, specifically crescent moons due to her pendant, and she makes all of them her wallpaper.

- a bunch of downloaded videos and pictures of of animes she likes, some edits and some not - especially including her anime husbands
- actually... she strikes me as someone who would make character moodboards , i dont know why, so lets say she has those in the similar folder too
- notes on biology, assignments, the kind of stuff you'd have being a student
- TOR browser, neatly tucked away inside the anime folder. when asked she might reply it's to torrent or smthng?
- i could imagine she actually uses it to browse the dark web to find info on nasty people / tips
- she DEFINITELY gives me vibes of someone who'd make all their social media pink and optimistic. i can see her reblog/retweet/rewhatever-ing those pastel positivty posts with cute animals (alongside geeking out)
500 ebay tabs open all watching various auctions for a rare hello kitty knife that always gets too expensive, but she'll get it ONE DAY, DARN IT
I see them with:
-Folders of the harsh noise they use as a stimulation, all locally stored in case the internet goes down, gotta have that stuff ready to go I'd think.
-Their DAW of choice for their music making goodness.
-A lot of samples and VSTs, all that good stuff that goes into the production of their jams.
-Browser with bookmarks to all their favorite places, a lot about their music to keep in contact with fans, places to upload new stuff, some stuff that they can get some inspiration from.
-The stock photo folder, with a photoshop link for when they need a new album cover. Also I could see some of the really over the top ones ending up in there, even if they aren't used.
-And a list of neat things to check out in Johto, started shortly after they moved there. Johto is a cool place, I'm sure they hear a lot about cool things to check out there.
EDIT: yeah a lot of that is pretty Valentina! Never thought of the angle of her streaming, just guest appearing, but I kinda love that idea now that you pointed all that out~
Decker seems like he'd have so much damn encoding on his computer. Like you think you've gotten in but nope, you hit another wall. Finally when you do get in, everything is in weirdly named folders and you're just confused, scared and wanting to get into a browser. Finally you get into one but it's nothing like chrome or ie. It's like some underground browser and you have to figure out the password. By the time you're done, you feel like you've seen enough and basically want to take a break. Should you actully keep going I think you'd find classified case files, personal notepad writing, sort of like a diary... and funny memes that the man had downloaded onto his desktop... you know cause he's old. They'd bad wine facebook mom memes too, cause he doesn't keep up with what the kids are talking about these days.
