Smiley PicklePantry

"My, oh my, oh my, oh my. :) What an unusual situation, what a strange situation! Don't you think so? I think so. :)" Smiley hummed as he paced around the sand, then staring off into the distant sea. "We're stranded. :) I'm not sure how. I don't remember it at all, yet here we are. :) Just you and me. Here alone. :)" He spun around to look at Edison, two smiley faces staring at each other. "I'm glad I'm with you, though. :) I've always liked clowns, and I like you. :) You have a very big smile on your face, and you seem very happy. :) That's good, I'm glad. Situations like this call for optimism, don't they? :)" He plopped down on the sand. "Say, why don't you tell me some jokes? I'd love to hear one. :) Maybe I can tell you one back. :)"

#2-12-5-21: Bleu FairySugar

If Bleu could feel fear. She might of felt it at this moment when she realized she was trapped. On an island with a man who killed anyone who didn't smile and what was Bleu known for? Not showing emotion.... Yay. So for the first few hours it was mostly Bleu hiding from the paper bag wearing psycho with a knife. Eventually however realizing they were trapped on an island and the paper bag man (She had started calling him that in her head) had no survival skills. He stopped trying to carve a smile in her face when he realized she did. Guess being useful meant she had a free pass. Well mostly she was still wary and kept a close eye on him incase he got a little too...manic and once again tried to carve a smile into Her face. It would heal but still it would hurt.

Bleu made a fire as darkness started to settle over them and she gave a sigh. "You know I cant remember much but the last thing I remember was walking with Cameron and I think I was grabbed from behind when I fell a bit behind as Cameron walked in front. Hmm. " she looked bored gazing out at the ocean. "I can't seem to remember anything after that though. Perhaps this is one of the doctors experiments? Who knows."

Aurelie Kendrick LostPocong

Turning to the undying soldier, Aurelie asked, “Miss Bleu? Would you like some more meat?” After an unplanned landing of their plane, these two were stuck alone on a tropical island, surrounded by uninhabited wilderness. It would likely take days before the gym leader’s cult came to rescue her. But there’s no need to panic, this preacher knew how to survive in the wilderness, and having a competent assistant made it practically relaxing.

It was rare for Aurelie to feel any genuine fondness of another, but the cult leader liked how Blue followed orders without question. Instead of panicking when it became clear that the two of them were stranded, the soldier just did as Aurelie commanded and secured a lavish meal and safe shelter.

When the two were finished with dinner, while the sun was setting over the vast ocean, Aurelie asked, “Say, why don’t you come work for me? You can have anything you want, money, fame, men… or women, whichever you prefer. Great things await anyone who will stand by my side.” She stood up and held out her hand to the soldier, “In return, I except you to do what I say and stay loyal to me and only me. So what do you say? Will you become my new right-hand woman?”

Stranded again, and this time all the help the preacher had was a little girl who was clearly scared of her. Though initially upset, Aurelie calmed down and remembered how impressionable children were. Malie could still be useful, she just had to be thought first. Though since the child was already scared of her, Aurelie stayed back for the moment to avoid spooking her.

When Melie finally approached the gym leader, she explained, “Starting a fire can wait, first, we need a source of drinking water. We could find some inland, in caves or places where rainwater gathers, if we can’t find any, then we have to desalinate sea water.” She was amused by the child’s suggestion, replying, “I doubt we will have enough time for that, unless you want to take a pet back home with you. No no, we should focus on finding something we can eat instead.” She pulled out a throwing knife and held it towards the girl, handle first of course, saying, “Here, I’ll teach you how to hunt some rabbits or goats. Something edible probably lives on this island.”

Melie Dinlos

Melie wasn’t sure how that had happened. How she would end up in the tropical island in the middle of the sea. She’d never seen the sea before. It smelled nice, but she had to admit it also made her worried. That much water in the same place couldn’t be a good thing.
Ignoring her goose bumps she continued observing the surroundings. Well, at least the island wasn’t tiny like in the books she’d read as a child. There must be something to eat.

Then there was the matter with her companion. She wasn’t alone in this mini paradise. There was also a lady with a kind smile, and at first Melie had been relieved; being alone was kinda boring especially since she wasn’t sure that anyone was looking for her. But then she realized that the woman’s smile was kind of creepy. Empty.

Melie wanted to avoid her. She was pretty sure the woman would eat her, or something even thought she looked like a nun. BUT she was also possibly her only way out of the island.  Hesitantly she walked up to the scary lady.
“So, umm.” She struggled to find anything to say. “Maybe we should start a fire? That’s what they do in the books.”
She shrugged. She was bored. She didn’t think she would die bored.
“Hey! Let’s go check the island! Maybe there’s some funny parrot here and we can teach them to speak!”

If she kept the scary lady busy, maybe she wouldn’t stab her?

Patience kabuto

Patience and a few of her fellows were on a missionary trip, their destination was one that had to be reached by boat, so they boarded a travel ship, mostly to save money, but maybe to convince a few people to convert along the way was a bit of an added bonus of travelling like this! Unfortunately, things hadn't gone so well and the waters got rough very, very fast. It all happened so quickly the tiefling couldn't tell you what really happened. But out of everyone onboard, only her and a small human (or so she's assuming, anyway) girl made it out alive in the wreck.

The normally chipper tiefling had a rather sad expression on her face. "...Are you alright?" She asked. "That was like a really rough crash landing. It kinda knocked me out, heh...my head still hurts." Reality slowly started to settle in for Patience as she glanced upon the wreckage of the boat and desolation of the island- all except for her, the girl, and whatever wildlife is deeper towards the gnarly forest.

"Do you know the first thing about survival? If you don't...I kinda know a few things. The elders of my temple did everything for me on wilderness expeditions but I was watching in case I ever had to like start a fire myself. Oh! And my name is Patience, by the way. What's yours?" She ended in a slightly more perky tone, even if all her enthusiasm had sunk to the bottom of the sea like everyone else on-board the boat.

kaerucchi

Aewan sat on the sand with his legs splayed out in front of him, combing his fingers and toes through the soft, malleable softness below him. He had taken off his socks and his mitts to get a better feel of the strangeness- Aewan had never been to a beach before, let alone felt any sand! He knew enough about the world to know what sand was, but he never imagined it would be so weird.

He didn't know how he got there, but that didn't matter, anyways. He was stuck with some weird-looking lady that made him uncomfortable. Maybe that was rude of him to judge someone by their appearance, she had a pleasant enough face, but her eyes creeped him out. Her antlers were rather pretty, too.

"Um... did you bring me here?" He asked. "Who are you? Am I dead? Am I dreaming?" Blinking, he turned his head back to the horizon, staring out at the gentle waves lapping at the shore, the sun shining brightly down upon him. "It's a rather nice dream, though. I wouldn't mind to stay a while."

Beatrice (Human) kafkaesque

Admittedly, Beatrice wasn't stuck on an island per se... Just happened to be on an island assignment for longer than she expected.

"I can't believe this," the older journalist grumbled to herself under her breath while thumbing what was essentially useless plane ticket in her hand, "My boss really told me that they were going to transport me out of here by, what, yesterday. And now..." Her nose scrunched up while she shuffled her feet into the sand. Oh, to bury her soles in this sand and be in total bliss... She had to admit that the island in question was quite beautiful, and it was definitely a location she could see herself vacationing in whenever she managed to scrape the vacation days together into something substantial, but...

It was just a shame that she was stuck on the damn thing in the first place! That really did sour things up for her, at least in her eyes.

Alas, said sourness persisted even as Beatrice shifted her attention to the youth next to her and grunted, "Well, I reckon that this must be a bit inconvenient for you now, mm?" She kicked some sand aside before adjusting the brim of her hat. "I mean... That chain around your neck... That must be pretty heavy now, mm? Wouldn't it benefit you for it to be taken off? I know for a fact that I'd find that really useful... Especially in such a balmy environment..." Beatrice, actually, didn't know that was the case, but she seemed like she knew what she was talking about while she chewed her lip and shuffled her feet once more.

"Give me a second," she directed and pointed her finger up into the air, "I'm going to get something." Oh goodness. But either way, Beatrice was off, her cleats making soft thuds against the sand while she trotted off to what appeared to be... A coconut tree. How convenient. Its placement was deliberate, but it clearly wasn't supposed to be bearing fruit, as Beatrice stepped over a railing and extracted a coconut from the sand. She then spat an insult under her breath when she almost tripped on said railing during her return trip, but either way... It was smooth sailing. Hopefully it'd stay that way.

"I doubt this will break your chain, to be honest with you," grunted the older woman while balancing the coconut in her palm with ease, "but I'll be the first person to say that coconut is a delicious fruit. I'm not sure why my wife doesn't serve it more often back at home, but that asides..." She let out a huff before, rather suddenly, slamming the nut into the metal of the chain, clearly attempting to use it as an impromptu "rock." It looked like an asshole move, and it probably was. But she did want to break that chain, right? She just also wanted to serve some coconut along with it.

She did get her cracked coconut, as Beatrice scooped up the pieces in her palms so that the milk didn't spill out, but she did ask, "How's this? You must seem hungry anyhow. Want some coconut? I do apologize for the way I cracked it open, but..." Her gaze drifted over to the currently cerulean sky. "... I'm sure some fruit will be enough to sustain you until someone comes along here... Right, kid?"

I'll try my best to do a follow-up for NP if I have the time!!

Pampu LostPocong

Being stranded was relative in this case, sure, Pampu could have swam back to her home, but why bother? As an arboreal snake, it would take her quite a while to swim back home, even in her giant true form. She considered just making this island her new home instead. For the moment, she was lying on the beach, in the form of a normal snake. Enjoying the feeling of the warm sand on her scales, she buried herself until only her nose poked out.

After having fallen asleep who knows however many hours ago, she woke up when someone stepped on her tail. A human, but not one of those who had received her blessing. She lifted up her head and turned it towards the human, startling them. “Do not be alarmed, “she said while gently pulling her tail out from underneath Beatrice’s foot. Once freed, she dispersed and reappeared in her human form. Bowing her head, Pam said, “Greetings human, may I know your name?”

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, miss Beatrice,” the ‘goddess’ said before introducing herself, “I am an Ouroboros, a magic snake, you may call me Pampu, if you wish.” Feeling a slight breeze, the snake-woman turned to the ocean. Noticing a familiar cloud pattern in the distance, she said “A storm is coming. We should head further inland, find shelter.” Looking over the reporter, she added, “You are hungry too, are you not? There should be food nearby, follow me.”

On the way, Pam asked the human, “So you are a journalist? That sounds interesting. What sort of articles do you write.” After picking up some coconuts and berries, the two found a cave near the center of the island. As the sun was starting to set and the wind picked up, she grabbed a coconut and pressed her fingernails against the top. After cracking it open, she handed the cocout to Beatrice and said, “Drink this. I will make a fire.”

As the wind howled and rain started falling, Pam said, “Do not worry, you’re safe with me. Once the storm settles, we can find a way off this island.”

Suddenly roused from her sleep, the ouroboros regarded Kurenai with half-hearted curiosity. After transforming, she said, “Greetings Kurenai, I am the emerald serpent, or Pampu.”

“No, I live over there, on the mountain,” She replied pointing to a distant island. Smiling at the Boútivamméno angel, she said, “It’s not that I turned into a snake, I am a snake and turned into a human, almost human, for convenience.”

(Sorry if this is a little short, I can't write today...)

Kandy Rorichi

Now that was definitely not a perfect vacation Kandy had anticipated oh so much. Ending up on an island with a strange one-eyed creature...maybe the last bottle of rum was indeed unnecessary and she was having some kinda feverish dream? Or maybe she'd already passed away and it was afterlife?

"Fuck..." The bunny girl sighed as she was drawing circles on the sand with a stick she'd picked up somewhere. She spared several glances to the creature who seemed to be staring back at bunny, mastering up her courage to finally approach them. C'mon girl! They would've killed you already if they wanted, right? So cut the crap and go go go! Kandy sighed once again, dropped the stick, dusted off her skirt and finally headed in the direction of the only other living thing on this damned island.

"So...do you know how we both got here?" Kandy asked as casually as she could, trying to look anywhere but the big yellow eye in front of her.

Regulus Pofistal kordesii

Waking up on a random island was not something that Regulus had wanted to happen on this nice Tuesday morning. The sun beating down on him and making him realize he had a tendency to wear way too many layers, and that he was certainly not cut out for the island living life. The sun was blinding him as he sat up, already feeling the seat trickling down his brow as he made to remove both jackets, making his way to the shadier part of the beach, the sand already becoming annoying as he felt it sticking to him.

As he sat under a tree to get his bearings, he noticed a second person laying in the sand, seemingly unconscious like he had been earlier. He debated getting up or just leaving them there to bake in the sun, and eventually he sighed and stood, cautiously making his way over to them. He didn't have to get close to pick up on the stench of alcohol, his nose scrunching up in disgust as he kneeled down next to the bunny dressed entirely in pink(the words "Nasty" printed across her shirt got an amused twitch of his lips). He kept as much distance as he could as he reached out and shook her gently, "hey, wake up before the sun bakes you alive." He said.

He shook her a bit more forceful when the first one didn't wake her, stepping back to give her room to collect herself. He wasn't sure how'd she'd respond to a random person shaking her awake, and he didn't want to be on the receiving end of any angry remarks or actions. He'd certainly dodged a knife or two while waking some people before.

 Thelwith MochaDoodles

Thelwith blinked as he sat up in the sand. "Eh? Who's that?" he thought as he gazed at the man across the beach. He walked over and said "Who are you?"

NV PicklePantry

kordesii MochaDoodles

NV slowly opened their eye. Seagulls. Sunshine. The sound of crashing waves. Where...?
Sluggishly, they sat up, lifting a hand to press against their head, only to pause and watch the sand sprinkle off between the fingers. The beach. They were on a beach. But how? They weren't anywhere near one when they'd... Well, now that they thought about it, where were they back then? What were they doing when they'd been dragged here? Had they been dragged here?
It seemed Envy didn't have any answers, either. So, left with nothing but questions, NV got up, dusted the sand off themselves, and wandered around.

In their walk, they happened across two people: one was a young man with a sour expression on his face and an energy that wasn't human, the other was a large, sentient bird dressed in regal clothes. NV blinked slowly. They both had incredible first impressions. The man looked strong and smart, with a calculating stare and an iron will. The bird seemed clever, and with clothes like his, he was undoubtedly a big deal. NV was grateful to be in their company, yet at the same time felt as though even if they were the only three on the island, they weren't worthy to talk to the two.
The sun was beating heavily over the mummy, though, and to be covered in a heavy jacket and wraps, they would perish without any help.
"Excuse me," they muttered after a while. "Do either of you remember how you got here? I can't remember what I'd been doing before arriving here. How long have either of you been awake for?" As insecure as NV was, they would have to work together with the others to get out of here. Hopefully the two wouldn't mind...

 Lola confusedthing

For a moment she chose to just lay there. It didn't matter anyway, did it? It did neither sound nor smell like home, or even a city for that matter. Instead she smelled grass, the sea... maybe, if she just kept her eyes closed for a little longer, it would go away again? Okay, she knew that would not happen. However, she could not really recall how she got to this place. "Man, sleepwalking has gotten out of hand..." she mumbled to herself and finally got up when the sun started to burn her skin. (Which happened rather quickly thanks to, well, being undead.) "The hell is this place?" it looked so bright and happy, like those weird islands in some advertisements. Oh no. Oooh no. No. No no no no no, she was NOT stuck on an island, was she?

A quick look around made her realize that this fear had indeed come true. Great. Just. great. "Well..." she mumbled before cursing to herself. Lola was so focused on drowning in self pity that she almost did not notice the other person that was standing in the shadows of a larger tree. What the- she did not know whether she should be relieved or concerned that she was not alone in this place. She quickly chose to decide on that later and just joined NV underneath that tree. Finally her skin stopped feeling like it was on fire, thank... that stranger and that tree, probably. "Hey." she greated with her usual monotonous voice and quickly eyed the mummy.

"Did I disturb the peace of your humble abode or did you strand here as well?" Judging by their clothes it was the latter, but then again... people had weird priorities when it came to fashion. When NV did not immidiately answer - probably because they were startled by her lovely personality - a thought popped into her head. "Wait. My skin is still together everywhere, right?" At least her hands and legs were, that much she could see. "I mean... my face." she added to specify. That would have been awkward, especially with no stapler around. Well, maybe there was one, but it seemed unlikely at first glance.

"Do you, per chance, know how to get away from here?" Lola asked, hoping for a 'yes' but not expecting it. It was all a bit cliche, wasn't it? Well, at least NV seemed like more bearable company than the people in movies, so that was something. Oh. "Uhm... name's Lola by the way." she finally introduced herself. "What's yours? I'm sorry, I got... distracted. I don't really like bright sunlight and that stuff, it hurts my skin." maybe they understood? Not that she assumed that they were undead as well, but being covered like that surely had a reason.

(Aaaa thank you ♥)

It was moments like this where she wished she was actually dead. It was so damn warm and her body felt terrible, like everything was slowing down even more, possibly because she was being cooked alive. Okay, maybe she was a bit dramatic there, she was not actually being cooked alive. Though she did not care enough to check out the noises coming from the forest, if something was going to stomp or eat her so be it, would probably be worse for them than for her. Well maybe not. The idea of being skewered made her at least open her eyes and stare at the giant dragon in front of her. "What the fuck-" she said breathlessly. Was it fair for a zombie to be surprised upon seing a dragon? Of that size?
Lola was trying to find something else to say but quickly closed her mouth when the dragon exhaled, effectively blowing half the beach into her face. Oh great. "I am..." she managed to reply after her chest stopped vibrating with the dragon's voice. Did he even hear her? She was not particularly loud, but she would just... assume dragons could hear well. Honestly, at least he was a source of shadow, she'd take it. The 'as well' made her slim hope he would maybe know a way off die in an instant.
"Uhm. well." that was a kind of philosophical question, wasn't it? "Lola." she said flatly. "Who are you?"
