Xerxes Taeya

confusedthing lil revival..

The lonely and peaceful scenery of the beach was disturbed by short rumbles, getting louder and louder. More and more intense. As evident by the sound of trees falling over, it was clear that it came from the forest close to the beach. Then, into view came a giant dragon head, adorned with gold and gems.
Finally comfortable to walk on his hindlegs, instead of powering through such thicket on all fours, Xerxes stood up. He walked further onto the beach, casting his massive shadow on it while doing so. Not yet seeing a certain undead girl close to him, he looked around.
Ocean here. Ocean there. Ocean everywhere. Nowhere to go, but at least he finally noticed Lola. The dragon turned towards her. Suspecting she was dead at first, he sat down and extented a claw towards her. But when she moved before he could do the dragon equivalent of "poke it with a stick", the dragon flinched and moved back a bit. After a short pause of realizing that she was in fact alive, Xerxes relaxed his tense muscles and curiously tilted his head. He breathed out. A simple sigh for him, but a small breeze for Lola.
"You look lost as well..." he remarked. Comparatively to his size, his voice wasn't deafening. It was very deep and growling, though. Anyone unprepared for it could feel the dragons roar in their chest. "Who are you?" he asked, possibly a bit more threatening than he meant to.

I like to imagine this is what happens next from Xerxes' pov

Fluer Katthekit

Fluer had thought he was stranded alone for quite a while, slicing through some thick vines and branches to make a shelter.... Until he heard the flutter of wings.

He quickly turned towards the noise.... Perhaps it was some large bird of prey that was planning on swooping down and eating him whole. He kept his sword gripped tightly.

He didnt expect to see a winged human in place of that bird. "Oi!" He shouted towards the other. "Do you speak?" He took a moment, before sighing. "Can't you just... Fly us off of here?"

 MoistSeaweed ArtisticTiger

MoistSeaweed smiled at Flur. 'Well, we're stuck on this island for sure. I cant fly for some reason but I can swim!" He catches a bunch of fish. 'Why don't you work on building a shelter and I'll supply food."MoistSeaweed was happy to have companionship on the island, even if he was a little odd. But then again he was pretty weird too.

Hayes Tack PicklePantry

Hayes stood at the edge of the beach, unmoving. Even if he'd wanted too, he was too drenched, too heavy. Impressively, he managed to stay standing every time the water climbed back up the island's beach.
He'd washed ashore here. How long had he been adrift, he wasn't sure; time was too foreign a concept, just like this land. It was nothing he'd seen before. Sand, water not from buckets or sprinklers, strange-looking trees. There didn't seem to be anyone else here besides one young man who seemed quiet himself. What truly confounded the scarecrow, though, was the man's wings. Wings. He'd only known his farmer and their family, but he distinctly recalled only birds having wings.
     Only... crows... having wings...
If Hayes had functioning eyes they'd be squinting suspiciously (granted, if he'd always look away from the ocean to look at Vyrik). Crow... human? Was that possible? Was it possible the pesky crows had gathered a new method to sneak to the crops? But if so, why here? This didn't seem like ordinary land.
"I. Will protect. This land," Hayes rasped, finally mustering the strength the turn and face the island. Yes, he'd dedicate his time to protecting the island from what he could only fathom as a crow disguised as a farmer.

Felix Pofistal kordesii

Washing up on a island in the middle of no where was certainly not on Felix's list of "things to do". He guessed it was his fault, he had accidentally made a declaration before Eve, one of the Gods, and they had decided a little prank was in order. They had said they'd pick him up in a few days since Felix had said he'd be able to survive on an desolate island easily. But hey, maybe this would mean Felix would finally get a bit of respect from the rather crazy God. Probably not, but he could hope one day they liked him as much as they liked his brother.

Felix slowly stood, turning to take in his surroundings. The island wasn't too small, and it seemed to have plenty of resources for him as long as his nose wasn't lying to him. Maybe Eve did like him a bit after all, if they didn't throw him on a random island with nothing on it. His eyes trailed down the coast, landing on a figure standing still in the distance. Was that... a scarecrow? It sure seemed like it, and he slowly moved towards it, wondering what a scarecrow was doing out on an island. As he got closer, the thing seemed to move?

The werewolf took half a step back, curious about what this thing even was. He had seen plenty of weird things in his life, but a scarecrow that was alive? That would certainly be new to him. "Hello?" He asked, staying a few arms length away just to make sure he had time to react if it tried to suddenly attack him.

N'arfi TwizzlyTwist

N’arfi had washed up on the shore of a deserted island after the ship got caught up and destroyed in a horrible storm. He felt like shit, to be honest. As he slowly gained consciousness on the beach, his entire body felt heavy but still, he was stubborn and managed to get up on his feet.

He took a look around. “Trees… sand… rock…” he muttered to himself until he saw another figure passed out on the beach with his face down in the sand. “Hey!” He stumbled his way over there, quickly turning Felix right side up. That’s when he caught the scent of wet dog, which made him jump a little. He was a great warrior but he was still part bunny. Nevertheless, his scythe had been lost as he drifted about so if we was going to get eaten, he’d just have to beat him with his hands. No biggy- totally-

“Ah… seven hells” he muttered, not liking the situation that much anymore. Despite this, he reluctantly decided that if anything was going to wake Felix up, it was a hard slap in the face.  Which was met with a loud scream but no physical aggression, which was more than welcome. “Welcome back to the land of the living. Are you hurt?”

Karter -pending ArtisticTiger

“Ugh! I can’t believe I’m stuck on this island.!” Exclaimed Karter. “I hate warm temperatures!” He started at Mina. “I have an idea, you go hunt for food and I’ll try  and find shelter or materials for a shelter.” He pulled his hair into a bun. “I hope o don’t get sun burn out here, that’ll suck.”

    Marclyn

“I mean we’re kinda bonded in a way so.. removing him might end up killing both of of us?”

Shadow Fiend Marclyn

"YOU ARE ALONE.... ON THIS ILSAND.... WITH ME..... NO ONE TO HEAR YOUR CRIES... NO ONE WILL COME SAVE YOU NOW. NO ONE WILL HELP. I AM GOING TO EAT YOU. AND CYRO SHALL BE SET FREE. FREE FROM THEIR HUMAN HOST... CRYO COME BE WITH ME NOW....."

Oh yess... Fresh meat on this island with him... Guess the fiend won't be starving. Wait? This little dude is TOO happy. And when someone is TOO nice and happy it is definitely CREEPING the fiend out! GOSH. He touched his hands and all too! As if they were BFF and were going to go skipping and be two school girls. The fiend hesitated. He didn't spoke a single word. Tongue tied really. He lets out a low grumble... Lord... This tiny puppy guy was going to make the fiend labor for him! See! He already has a job aligned for him! Pick some fruits from some high tree?! Seriously? Already barking demands... Oh if only the fiend should have never shown his face. If only he could just... Sink into the ground. But he is already spotted... And the puppy can probably sniff him out. Dog guy probably has a nose of a dog. Ugh... If the fiend had ears, his ears been lowered and he'd make a sad puppy eye. So.. He lowered his head... And went off with Scott. Indeed Shadow Fiend was STUCK with Scott...

 ✴ | ANTARES | ✴ RadiantzRain

Getting stuck on a deserted island wasn't what Antares necessarily wanted to happen on a fine summer afternoon like this. Normally, she could just fly away, but after a crash landing, her wing is broken and it'll take about 3 weeks or maybe longer to heal. She groaned as she trotted along the beaches, kicking the sand in anger and stress as she worried about what would become of her. After a bit of wandering about, she decided to move further inland, where the island seemed to be more covered with woodland.

She pushed past several vines and ducked under tree branches, a part of her hoping that she wasn't alone. And alone she wasn't, because soon she found a boy feeding a bunch of doves and yawning. The boy seemed to be some kind of humanoid mixed with an animal. Not often you see those. Antares sat herself down and rested her broken wing, watching the stranger for a bit. Suddenly, he turned around and noticed her, smiling and striding over to her.

He offered her some food, which she took considering she was starved. In all honesty, after meeting him, she wasn't dreading what would happen on the island as much anymore. At least she was stuck with someone decent.

Bowman Pompadork

With a heavy sigh, Bow did his best to drag his sailboat ashore. This wasn't the first time it had gotten stuck in the middle of nowhere and certainly wouldn't be the last. Stopping to survey the land, collecting his thoughts and his next move he heard the grumbles of a fellow strandee. "We wouldn't happen to be anywhere close to civilization, eh?" He called out to the stranger.

Quickly wiping his paws off and following the sounds he found the Star Guardian, her wing broken and her mood obviously very soured. He stopped in his tracks, careful not to startle her as he waited for her to notice. "I uh...suppose you wouldn't mind at least helping me out would you? I mean I can assure you this is a strangely common occurrence for myself if that gives my survival skills any more credit." Bow said with an awkward laugh, attempting to lighten the mood.

"Come now, you don't really have to help me. At the very least let me attempt to get your wing a bit more secured and I'm sure one of us can find our way home again in no time."
