The OC above is behind you...

Posted 5 years, 3 months ago (Edited 4 years, 11 months ago) by Lux KountrysideGrizzly

Rules:

1: You must post as your OC

2: If you are only gonna scream, at least make it funny and not just screaming. Example: *screams in fanboye*

3: You may make your interactions as long as you like. This includes but is not limited to speech, actions and reactions

4: Keep it clean please, I don’t think I’d wanna do dirty things to someone who jump scares me from behind!

5: All characters are accepted!!!

6: Once you’re interaction is finished, you must type at the bottom “I’m behind you...” or another varient that gives out the same message so that the next person may interact using their OC. To shorten your text, look for the symbol that has the T and an arrow pointing upwards and downwards. Shortening the text is now optional.

7: Please wait at least 2-3 posts after your post or 24 hours after the most previous post.

8: The only exception to your OC interacting with another one of your OC’s is if it has been 24 hours since you posted and no one else has posted during that 24 hour period.

9: Art of your interactions is okay but I cannot allow NSFW that would be rated adult (e.g. sexually explicit) under any circumstances, this would ban you from this thread. Anything that would be rated mature (e.g. nudity, bulges for males or nipples for females) however should only be sent privately to the user you intend to draw art for, they must be 18+ to be sent mature artwork and you must have their permission before you can draw their character at a mature rating. Failure to ask permission beforehand would be a warning if the reciever is already over 18 or a ban from this thread if they are under 18.

10: Swearing is fine, just be careful on how you use your words, like, try not to offend anyone in real life, yeah?

11: If a comment has been deleted, keep calm and move on. Don’t worry, you’ll still get a reply!

Lan Turner PicklePantry

Lan paused his slow stride and turned halfway to look down at the cause of such a noise, even if it was difficult to tell where he was looking. He tilted his head back slightly to look at the broken tree branch, then back down at Epilepsy. "Are you hurt, young one?" he asked softly, turning to fully face him. Although Epilepsy seemed energetic, there was something in his eyes, a fear. It didn't take Lan much time to realize the cause of that fear.
"Have you ever taken a moment to look at the stars?" he suddenly brought up, motioning to the nighttime sky overhead. "They're beautiful, aren't they? But they can only be appreciated when the darkness is there to contrast their shine. The shadows can be scary, but they can also bring out one's brightest self, don't you think?" By the time Epilepsy would look back down at Lan, he'd be gone.

The air suddenly grows colder behind you.
"Interesting," mutters a quiet voice. Behind you is a man with a lamp for a head. It feels like everything's gotten darker.
"You look as though you're on your way to a grand adventure. Do you believe you're prepared?"

Reuben Milkman

He particularly never liked the cold air. Yet, the air around him felt even colder than it had been? In the middle of fall, it surely hasn't turned to the winter season already! Reuben huddled into his coat even tighter.

Dayes never noticed until he heard an auspicious voice just behind him. No screams nor shouts; just a small little jump he made before he swiftly turned and stepped back instantly. It was quite a disturbing evening for him - especially when he ended up dropping a few crumbs of his donuts he had on his hand. An eerie-looking lamp with a human body came to speak to this old man. Grand adventure? Prepared? Jesus no, he wasn't prepared for another trip without being spoken to about it. Poor Reuben had barely left the 24hrs donut shop with a donut in his hand and a warm cup of hot cocoa on the other. By the time he would've gotten home, he'd be ready to jump under the blankets and sleep for the day - that is if he'll ever get back home at this point.

"No. Not necessarily," he muttered under his breath - the dark and cold environment around him left a trail of warm air out of his lips. "Maybe come by tomorrow and ask me that again."

_______

Dayes was a quiet gentleman - but he wasn't that quiet. Or so he thought. There were days where he'd unintentionally walk up to someone without their notice and they'd turn around and shout. Yet, Reuben's addiction to a fresh bakery item allowed him to do just that. He smelt a nice fragrance from a figure before him, their back turned. He walked up to them so hastily and gave a little poke on their shoulder. "Where did you get that? I don't see a bakery anywhere here..."

 Vistalia Avistella

Vistalia was so caught up in eating her fluffy and sweet pastry, she hadn't noticed the man's presence behind her. She visibly jumped, a small squeak of surprise leaving her lips. She immediately turned around to face the stranger, a hand upon her chest to calm her racing heart as she instinctively took one step back in case whoever snuck up behind her was a danger.

She blinked curiously at the well-built man before him when she saw that he posed no threat to her. A beat passed before she finally registered his question that was directed towards her. "Oh!" She exclaimed, a hint of pink upon her cheeks when she realized the delay in her response.

Although he gave Vistalia a bit of a fright, his eyes seemed to hold an expectant glint as he stared at the treat in her hand. She offered him a kind smile. "If you turn at the corner two blocks down, there's a very quaint bakery tucked between two buildings. It's easy to miss if you aren't actively looking for it," she answered. "I hope you find what you're looking for."

———

There are times in which Vistalia's footsteps are so light and airy that they don't make a sound at all, and thus, one can easily miss her presence until she finally decides to speak up. She spots a figure ahead of her just a few steps away, unmoving. Thinking that the person was lost, the woman approached them. "Hello," she greeted from behind. "Do you need some help?"

Vincent Vangoat VincentVanGoat

That night, the goat was unmoving, he was deep in thought about something very important. Which game he'd play at the arcade. He sometimes just stopped moving and stood in place to think, shutting out the world at some level, of course the sudden speech from the woman behind him grabbed his attention, causing him to jump, before he looked back, only turning his head to do so, remembering to have his body also turn around to not totally freak anyone out. He looked her over, flashing her a grin.

"Help? I'm good... well, actually maybe you can answer this!" He nodded, not aware that she was who she is. "Now, when you hear Daytona USA, or Initial D, which makes your mind think that you must play it?" He floated up, and began to list off pros and cons, getting a bit into it to not really afford her a chance to speak up, and provide any help. Any moment that seemed to be the chance was soon filled by the goat comparing something, mostly about the music. He then had a Eureka moment, and hopped back down to earth.

"I was just playing Daytona USA last time, mix it up! Thanks!" He didn't really notice that he just exposed her to his own ghostly rambling and she didn't really get to help, but her presence did get him speaking, not thinking. She had helped more than she might have known. The ghost thanked her once more and headed on his way, humming a tune.

After humming this tune for awhile, Vangoat was happily floating along ahead. His humming turned into singing of various Eurobeat songs. He at first didn't notice the figure of someone ahead of him, but noticed before floating through them, an experience that could really shake things up. He happily lands on his hooves, speaking up, "Ah, someone else out pretty late! Having a fun time?" He wasn't really aware of who was ahead of him, and didn't think of how this could terrify someone, or just annoy them at the least.

[ // ] TOMA tommyisbad

what if i were to tell you that toma wasn't actually there? it would be a complete lie, but i would've told you something, just as he would. a complete lie to throw someone off guard, buy their soul, go back home and watch his siblings fight over something stupid. either way, he quite liked the overworld, laying against various things like he was a noodle, floating and rolling around lazily as he tried to find a soul. someone had approached him it seemed, so he simply bent his spine backwards, looking u pat vincent lazily. "no, work isn't all that fun. i need a soul by tomorrow or my siblings might take my fingers." his voice wa slow, monotone, wiggling his fingers at him before springing back to his normal slouched position like he was some sort of.. zombie, would be the best way to explain it.

he started to float way, slowly rolling through the air and stopping once he spotted a potential soul to take. "hey, kid, wanna make a deal? itll only cost your entire life line, but you could be rich. orrrr famous."

Darling Rorichi

"Wowie~!" Darlng exclaimed jumping up more inexcitement than in surprise. "Have you been following me aaaaall this time~?" Darling asked curiously slightly tilting their head to the right. "And just to do jumpy, jumpy from my back-y thingie~?  Wooooow~! You are sooooo nice~!" The vaeri hugged the boy tightly. "Awww you have such cute and fluffy ears and tail~! May i touch them? Pretty, pwetty pleeeeease~?"

For some reason Darling was in that strange mood when they needed, like really needed to prank someone right at that moment and at that place, so they decided it would quite fuuun to scare someone. After thinking about how exactly it would be better to scare her random victim(which took exactly 2 seconds, the vaeri wasn't the type of people who would think about something more than for 5 seconds), Darling approached a stranger from behind trying their best not to make a single sound. "Guess whooo~?" They sung covering the persons eyes with their hands.

Dan Test PicklePantry

"Hmm? What?" Dan grunted as he turned around to look at the rather tall woman charging in his direction. Ah, he could tell just from her appearance that she wasn't human. The hair was a start, the claws another. But she didn't have the sinister aura of a demon. He was snapped out of his thoughts when she got closer to him. She seemed to ask something about why he would make others open their mouths; at least, that's what he thought he heard, as he still felt his focus drift to pondering just what she was.
"Why I make people open their mouths? Because it's my job," he scoffed. "I need people to open their mouths so that I can see if their teeth are fine. See?" He opened his mouth to point at his own teeth, but for some reason it looked like it offended her, which in turn offended him! He didn't have bad teeth, and to look as though he did?!
The anger, however, seemed to settle when he saw fire sparking from her own mouth.

"You've been putting off your dental appointment for too long," boomed a voice behind you. Dan was there, floss in hand and his smiley face pin nowhere to be seen. He pulled tight at some of the floss. "No more running away. Show me your teeth. We have a LOT of work to do."

hanako was simply having his daily stroll when he came across something glistening in the grass. the sun’s light reflected heavily off of it and as the small male approached the object, it appeared to be a set of keys. accompanied by a lot, yes, a lot of magical girls. crouching down, hanako picked up the poor thing and raised a brow out of curiosity. he had the sudden urge to find out who these really belonged to. tucking his hands away into his sleeves, the boy looked around, his eye scanning his surroundings. he was so focused on them that he didn’t even notice a presence behind him. it was only when he felt a light tap on his shoulder did he flash around. his hand instinctively went for his sword but when he saw it was simply another poor boy, he relaxed. letting the gentle motherly smile grace his lips once again, hanako listened as the other tripped over his words. it was quite amusing. and quite obvious that he was trying his best to lie about the ownership. he waited for him to finish rambling before finally lifting up the keys, “are these the ones?” he wanted to confirm. when he finally got the affirmative, hanako gently placed them on the boy’s palms before letting out a gentle sounding chuckle. “take care of these sweetheart. some of them are limited edition you know?”

using the back of his hand, hanako wipes the blood that was leaking from his small cut. he had just finished another mission, however this time the demon was terribly fast. nothing the music pillar couldn’t deal with though. ignoring the fact that he was slapped in the face by the branch and his white kimono covered in crimson liquid- he also managed to lose track of where he was. sliding his sword back into his sheath, it took quite a while before he finally spotted someone. with his aura quite literally turned off and foot steps sounding almost non-existent. hanako approached the stranger. getting on his toes, he smiled sweetly before whispering into the ear carefully. “moshi moshi?” he purred before spinning in front of the other. “sorry for interrupting your day dear. i’m just a little lost. mind giving me some directions?”
