PSA: Nonacrone (UPDATE 1; 10-2-18)

I don’t wish to argue; but I will have to note I don’t feel it’s harassment. While no I do not feel adding things to the PSA is necessary, I don’t believe it would hurt at all. I also don’t believe it’s too witch hunty, but that’s likely just a personal belief.

Also be aware I worry that if we act as if we are falling apart, and have internal conflicts, it’ll make others believe we are invalidated immediately, when based off of the comments here is not the case. I hope you have a wonderful day/night, and if you’d wish to continue via PM we may. I hope this doesn’t turn into others incriminating us, though 

All we were trying to do here is warn others of this user. This is not personal, and isn’t meant to hurt anyone. Making sure others are at least somewhat wary, and aware of this users past is our goal.

I don't want to sound rude, but I'm not sure why some people are acting like we actually accused Nonacrone of doing certain things. The word "potential" is there for a reason -- we didn't accuse Nonacrone of stealing WTA ideas, but said said it was a possibility because all of the entries were written though PM. Because of that, there is no way for the public to be aware of the entries unless the original writer publicizes the text, and even then, it's possible that both sides could delete the messages to clear their inbox. Any and all WTA events are potential outlets for plaigirism, but at least with public ones the entries can be deleted or the comment can be edited to be blank so as to not be read publicly anymore. But with PM entries, the person holding the event has access to that entry for as long as they want.

Of course, since Nonacrone has listed her characters as public, she's less likely to plagiarise, but it's not out of the question. There are so many characters on her account that she could put the information anywhere, not just on the character that the entry was originally attached to. But I'm going to state it again, we never stated outright that she is doing this for sure, so it would be appreciated if those allegations were halted.

As for the whole ''minor'' thing, we felt as a group that it was very important to add that Nonacrone is potentially (emphasis on the potentially) a minor because someone who gives/sells nsfw artwork to a minor can get in serious trouble, and not just on Toyhouse. If there's even a small possibility that Nonacrone is a minor, it's important to proceed with caution, especially since they had/have nsfw art on their page.

This is getting derailed, yes, but we never once harassed Nonacrone. Looking through past posts of her isn't harassment, it's how PSAs are done. The past topics we're looking through are relevant to gather evidence for the PSA, since that what people have been asking for. Harassment involves contacting the person directly, and none of us have done that.

Also, it's important to note that this PSA was a group effort crafted in a Discord server. As always, it's not only me gathering information and I'm not the only person involved so please do not treat me as such. Thanks for understanding! <3

Ugh, i'm concerned now. They got their hand on one of the freebies i gave a while ago and worried they will try to flip them for profit or to trade them, when they are only a giftable character... Is there anything i can do so it doesnt happen?

Heya! Unfortunately, there's not anything that can actively be done. However, it looks like the Design Terms Of Use for the character are very solid in stating that it's a freebie character only. Just keep an eye on them and let us know if you see the character up for trade or sale. : )  We'll add it to the PSA if that happens anytime in the future.

Hello, I am only commenting on the potential plagiarism thing. First off, I can see all of their ocs and they look the same as before (at least the ones that I did were the same), so I think you can rule that out to be honest.

I think we should give it a bit more time due to the fact it’s so soon. It took them a good week-2 weeks to announce the WTA so it’s possible they don’t have much time. We also noted it’s not a fact, just a concern we have regarding the situation (:

Note for others: We are fully aware Nonachrone's characters are visible, which greatly lowers the chance of plagiarism! We will edit this part of the PSA soon!

I'm kind of confused - I know someone linked the TOS for posting in the PSA thread but Iv'e been reading over this for a long time and this is very confusing more than anything else. That's not to say that there weren't problems with anything related to this person but why is this in the Business PSA thread ("Please do your best to keep posts tone neutral and related to business transactions")? This all seems very personal - the bad behaviour, WTA stuff, annoying advertising, etc. I feel like I'm missing something.

My only interaction even sort of associated with this person was when my friend did a WTA thread and I straight up told them it looked like they hoarded characters so it seemed really not like a good fit - and they would message about when the contest ended (which they did not win). Like they seemed immature and childish - like they were trying to hoard but besides banning from the freebie thread I'm not sure what this PSA is really for (and I don't mean to sound shitty saying that I just legit have read through this all a lot and it seems more appropriate for a PERSONAL PSA on a Bulletin - then maybe linked to freebie giveaway board or something).

Milesian The purpose of this thread is to basically warn people of the consequences of communicating with this user (not consequences as in we are gonna tell you off for talking to them XD that would be insane, I just mean what could happen in results to conversations or transactions with this person). This WTA was a mass event, and so many people joined, and were all basically ripped off. Therefore, if she hosts a WTA again, the people who created this PSA want to make sure that no one makes the same mistake by getting attached to one of Nona's characters and then being dissapointed.
