PaperTsubaki ah I was mostly going at the actual text in the forum post, so no worries! That does sound very sketchy. I would think general form, shape, and anatomy would be more similar if they were traced? I looked through her gallery, and all drawings seem to have the same uh... stylized? anatomy. A few did stand out to me as inconsistent, including the first headshot you linked, since it seems to have much thinner and cleaner lineart and better form (I suppose? I don't know the word sorry) than the other ones. Though that could just be the result of reference, or chance?

I’m honestly really worried about how this will turn out, because I entered for 2 of their characters and I spent a good while writing for them until I was completely happy with their stories. I was seriously, completely invested in one of them, and now to hear that they’ve just completely canceled the event makes me really nervous they’ll plagerize me. I hope to everything they don’t and that I’m just anxious for no reason ;-;
PaperTsubaki it definitely is a little questionable and I think your attention isn't misplaced! With things as shady as the stuff she did to be honest I wouldn't be surprised if there was tracing or similar involved. Tracing shouldn't be allowed, and I think it's great it's being looked into

Haha, that initially confused me, too. The person sending the message to Nonacrone states they're a minor, not Nona herself.
Obviously, she could still be a minor, but it wasn't her stating that. O:

I was an affected person from Nona and practically poured my should into my entries. I was very very appalled at how Nona handled the situation and would just like to recommend that everyone pays heed to this warning and gives extreme caution when dealing with Nona in general
Needless to say, I am disappointed, but not nearly surprised.
I've seen them act hostile on the freebie thread a few times before; notably them getting pissy when another user pinged them to let them know that they didn't get to claim a certain character.
As much as I doubt they'll learn from this at all, I hope that they do.
