Adding to noralltach 's suggestion, I'll give an even more in depth example. A few years back I held a "gachapon custom event" which users within a certain period of time could comment a custom form at me in the comment section of a journal, and I would respond to them if I accepted + when I was about to start theirs. I would love to do this again, but to avoid last time's disaster of people continuously applying despite it being closed, I would love the option to freeze comments so that I can stop people from applying, but still be able to let people know when I accept their custom forms.

Features I'm thinking about and welcome suggestions for:
- Anonymous comments (if I do throw this in you're still certainly going to have to be logged in so the recipient can report malicious content if necessary)
- Allowing for fandom/canon characters
- World chats - just mulling it over right now...
@MomotarouMikoshiba This isn't a fix, but you can hold down ctrl (or cmd if you're a Mac-user) while clicking a link, and that'll open it in a new tab. Should be helpful for you until there's a real solution?
Upload from URL would be amazing I just realised as I saved 50 different images from a deviantart stash folder on to my computer just so I can upload them here
@torotix a "hack" around this would just be to put the image's URL into the upload box that pops up -- it will save a copy in your temporary files but it also means you won't have to manually download then reupload the art.
add a search feature on each forum board to be able to search keywords? like say you want to search for a certain word, this would be useful.
bug fix: fix the watermark so that when you edit an image on an OC to add/remove watermarks, change the image to that changed watermark. whenever i add or remove a watermark, it doesn't show it, but i do know it's watermarked the way i changed it to. i prefer to see it without having to edit and click 'watermark' to check.

Also, i know that submiting canon/fandom characters is on the list but I have a small idea for it
So basically what if on the side of your profile where the tabs are for characters bullitians etc. had a fandom tab
in the fandom tab you can make seperate folders with a fandom name
and there you can make entries on canon characters you can RP as but you can only use two pictures?
This is so we can avoid people stealing art
on the entry itll have a place ot put a icon and a place to put a character reference sheet.

i'm not sure how this would work, but i would love to hear how other people pronounce their characters' names. maybe have a small area on their profile added, where you could record your voice saying the name?
a spell check in the text boxes perhaps? there have been many times where i totally miss a glaring typo until i'm backreading my character's profiles a few weeks later.

When making links for characters there needs to be a search bar at the top amoung your own OCs. This account has over six pages of OCs and actively links them with who they should be linked with... lets just say it's hell to try to find them. ((http://sta.sh/0au6rbr0nqx this is what I mean if you were confused xD))

Okay to do that, you need to insert am image (and maybe resize it). Then you check the code and add align=left or align=right into the bit for the pic. As shown with this little image on the right.
