Hello I am here for yet another random suggestion. I think there should be a privacy setting for letting people view only a characters' art, and not their information. This account is made for stories and I'm torn between letting people view my characters- because I want them to see the art and it's easier when linking characters that I want commissions of- and not letting people see the characters due to all of the spoilers in their information. :0 Otherwise some sort of spoiler box too, maybe even some set at levels that don't allow any people other than authorized users to open the box? That could stop people from viewing spoiler information that hasn't come out yet, but allow people to view spoilers that HAVE come out and therefore they may have already known about that info. //shrugs// Kinda rambling slightly, hope you get what I mean. xD rip

EDIT: Also random but I was going through these comments and I noticed that whenever I tried to go to someone's page I automatically clicked on their icon to open their page in a new tab- but it just brings you to the actual icon image. Most websites let you click the icon to go to a user's page and I really think that needs to be implemented, considering that got me every single time. |D I know this was suggested before but seeing as it hasn't been done yet I figured why not write it here again? //shrugs

I'm still pretty new here, but I'd really love the ability to make my images smaller for guests-just not as small as the thumbnail size. I feel like any watermark that actually serves its purpose of protecting the image is very obstructive and the thumbnails are so tiny that any details are difficult to see. As it goes, if I want to allow guests to see my images clearly and still protect the original high resolution file, I have to shrink the image for everyone by uploading a smaller resolution image to the site. Honestly, I'm not entirely sure how all of that works from a web developer's perspective, but I do think adding a resize option in the view panel would be a great feature to add!

Pagination for gallery pages sounds good - especially for characters with lots of art. What do you think a fair image count per page would be?

We're working on literary submissions right now, and I believe one of the things on the table is making those privacy adjustable. Would that work better for you? Unfortunately I think the chance of the character information being privacy locked when the character isn't is pretty low since that's just not the way its coded right now.

As for your second comment, actually they do! Just sometimes the Javascript on the site takes a while to load which is what will give you that error.

We could add in a algorithm that shrinks your images, but at the moment it honestly isn't worth the server load + coding time. : ( You can easily adjust the size of your images in a photo editing software though!

minsu I think either 18 or 24 would be a good amount of art pieces to have per pages. If it's at all possible, I also really like Tropicbird's idea of having folders or some other system to organize artwork with.

I'm not sure if it's been suggested yet but maybe upgrading the max image size to 3mb? Also perhaps a mass upload option instead of having to upload images for a single character one at a time. That would be nice.

I am really new here, but I would like to know if there will ever be a thing for closed species? because I have a closed species, and I would like it so everyone could submit to it, but be able to say they designed it and it was an myo of my species, or a custom or something. Also I love the linking system, but maybe if it was a bit more noticable? sometimes people unfamiliar with toyhou.se dont notice it. like maybe if their was something right on the character gallery that links to them. and another thing sorry for so many suggestions. maybe folders for each individual character, so aybe you have art of them in different outfits, oor art of them alone, or together with their partner, which brings up the last thing, I would love a way to easily link a couple together. (if any of these are already coded and I am a dunce I am sorry, like I said I am fairly new)

An "in between" setting on the nsfw filter would be awesome. I check TH a lot on my phone and sometimes when I'm with friends, I'll show off other people's OCs.  Mindful that not all my friends are comfortable with gore or images depicting sex, i keep my nsfw filter on so they don't see it. But it's a pain to have to turn it back off when home and then on as I'm leaving the house. When NSFW shows up in my notifications with the filter on, they appear as a blank box with the red nsfw tag and i have to click it to see the image. I would love to be able to see the same presence of nsfw work on profiles as well. 

Hane, I made a suggestion recently about having a difference between gore & sex in NSFW, and being able to block one but not the other, or block ones that have both-- as an eroguro artist, I'm used to people being comfortable with sex and gore but not gorey sex and I don't want my work to ever make people uncomfortable!! Your suggestion of adding nonsexual nudity would work really well into that one, I feel-- then you can check off that nudity's okay, but sex is not, gore is okay but eroguro is not, nudity is fine but no gore at all, etc.

@zainin i think i saw your thread and yeah, being able to tag nsfw art would be p cool so people can know why it's a grey box

im so glad Beau and Elissinia mentioned removing charactes  from fav's when blocked bc i was just about to comment about it myself!
It really makes me uncomfortable when people block me or I block them and their characters are still in my fav folders and mine in theirs! (then later i just have to manually remove from my own folder and its just so tedious rip;;)

other suggestions id have for the block feature is to make unable for blocked users to reply to you when you comment on someone else's bulletin! (commenting on an user's bulletin who doesnt have said person blocked.)

i'm not sure if this has been suggested before, but i would love a small tab on the tag section on the toyhou.se/"username"/characters page to show all tags we have on our characters. i have so many tags, that it only shows a handful of them, and i can't remember all of the ones i even have anymore >_<

Can we have umm.. privacy levels on the stats page? Like... we can hide the following if we wanted to:

>last logged in:

>subscribed to/subscribed by

>authorizing/authorized by

---

or if this is possible already can someone teach me how to hide these info? I'm not comfortable if my online status cannot be hidden or something...
