Maybe an app for mobile?
on the todo list in very rough order of priority:
- Authorization levels - kinda done, but still looking for ways to improve

- Allowing users to delete their own threads.
- Showing when posts have been edited (+ possible for mods to see original post?)

- Clean up mass image/character management
- QoL fixes
- Mass deletion, links to individual edit panels
- "Next" button when browsing through character pages.
- "Are You Sure You Want to Delete" pop-up when hitting delete for posts/comments/everything
- Deleting comments probably needs a confirmation panel...

- Character search by tag or unverified URL
- Image search by URL might be useful too, hm
- Fix thread notifications links to take you to the latest page... Actually I should have it take you directly to the post, I was too lazy when coding this and it's gonna be a pain in the ass to change now
- Same with thread links on the forum's front page
- Random character/user link (only for listed and public characters & users)
- User autocompletion
- Tag blocking
- Layout fixing like just in general going around and fixing forms and also checking to see that everything wraps correctly

- Have a look at a chat... I don't think cloudflare works with websockets so I'll need to have a think about it rubs chin I don't really like the idea of an AJAX chat

- This is half done but I realised it was taking way too long so I've shelved it for later...

- Bulk image/characters upload
- Tagging images with multiple characters

Feature fixes / comments
- Watermarked thumbnails needs to be looked at, I'm not really happy with it atm..
- Commission a logo artist for a clean logo
- I should just outsource the front end to a proper front end developer
- Fix how images teleport when you try to drag one that's at the end of the row
Features I'm thinking about and welcome suggestions for:
- Anonymous comments (if I do throw this in you're still certainly going to have to be logged in so the recipient can report malicious content if necessary)
- Allowing for fandom/canon characters
- World chats - just mulling it over right now...
Vin hehe thank you * 7 * i think it would be easier if there was an off site bank to host the files? such as sta.sh, etc.. i think that would save a lot of server space.
ooh yeah > v < i feel like i should too, but i get so flustered when i am trying to think of the perfect way to prounounce them, so i'm like... voice files pls xD
Sorry if this has been said, but I have two suggestions.
1) In threads, newest comments at the top. Or at least a way to switch between newest/oldest. It's really a pain to go hunting for things.
2) Character's profile pics up high on their profile. I love character profiles, but I put a lot of information in mine, and you have to scroll to the bottom to see the character image and art. It would be great if we could have one picture of them at the top of the profile. It would fit perfectly right above "name, created, owner, etc" in the sidebar.
Oh, one more! I would love it if we could log in from other devices without getting kicked from the first. I switch between my laptop and phone a lot, and have to log back in every time.
Two features I find myself kinda missing here, so far:
- Multiple logins
Quality of life thing - I have two computers I "regularly" use to access the site and it would be awesome if logging into one didn't log me out of the other. I understand there are security implications with this, especially for users who e.g. access the site from a public terminal, so I imagine it'd have to come with some kind of session manager, but it would still be super nice to have. - Returning to last page when logging in
Kind of related to the above. It's an even smaller quality of life thing, impact-wise. Still, it'd be super nice to have.
Also, I know I saw a mention somewhere that you were working on spoiler boxes for character profiles, and one related feature I would appreciate having would be a... "NSFW box", I guess. Basically just something I could stick sensitive parts of a character's background, for instance, in, just like artwork can be marked NSFW. Right now for a couple of my characters I admit I do kind of... worry about how to address certain important points.
@fehnryr - so, you can add images to the main profile (it's easier to do this when you have premium, but still feasible on a regular account, aka zahri) which can help a lot, but yeah, i kinda wish i could put gallery snippets on top without having to use css

@hane - Yeah, that's what I ended up going with. (only a little simpler- Marceline ) but it sure would be nice to have it all uniform.
@fehnryr aah okay. Wasn't sure if you n knew about that since getting images to be in line with the text isn't feasible without going into the html.
But yeah, there's a couple of ways to code the gallery to the top with premium +css but that puts everyone else in a lurch e3e

I'd love a way to break a character's gallery up into separate pages. Some of my characters have a lot of art, which can make their galleries unkind to some computers.
Being able to see the number of characters in a folder and also sorting characters by how much information is in their descriptions ((such as how you can search by oldest/newest/image count/etc)) would both be great things to include. :3c
I'd really like content tags on images that people could blacklist if they want. (So for example, if I'm fine with nsfw images in general but there's a specific Thing that makes me uncomfortable, it would be nice if I could just block images with that tag instead of blocking 100% of nsfw content.)
Also, it might be neat if we could sort characters in order of most/least recently updated so I can keep an eye on if I'm neglecting anyone, hehe.
