Gaidinia Halloween 2021

After waiting all year for her favourite holiday, Alice was very quick to start decorating her house for Halloween. She always pulled out all the stops, having invested a lot of time and money into her decorations for the season, and made sure that everything was ready for when trick or treaters would finally come. Going into her storage room she began pulling out the boxes of spooky items that would bring a whole new life to her home.

One of her favourite decorations, which got a center stage placement hanging from the tree in front of her home, was a swinging undead little girl who would sing eerily into the night. She was well aware that her neighbours all thought it was horrifying and wanted her to not put it out anymore, but she loved it and wanted people to feel that bit of friendly fear on Halloween night.

Making sure the front yard was rightfully scary she started putting together her creepy circus decor behind the swinging girl. A large sign that read "Circus of Horror" hung above the front doorway that the kids would trick or treat at, letting them know that was the right door to go to. At the door she placed a motion censored clown head doorknocker, with sharp teeth and clowing swirled eyes, that would laugh in a deep maniacal tone.

Along the walking path she placed dead clown heads on spikes, with a carved jack-o-lantern beneath each one to help light the way. Part way along the walk was a tall clown that was hunched over the path a bit, with a creepy grin on its face as it would tell tales of kids being trapped in the circus and how they always needed more.

Outside was not the only thing she decorated though, she also spent most of the month decorating the inside of her home. Every doily was changed to a black woven spider web, the tablecloth featuring a crow in a creepy pumpkin patch, the cushion covers on her sofa now covered in little bats and ghosts, and the curtains turned to torn blood stained rags.

The bathroom towels were now all orange and black striped, the soap looking like a little brain, and the bath matt and shower curtain both colour changing to look like they are bloody when wet.

In her bedroom her walls were lined with undead looking dolls, her bedding black satin with black web lace pillow coverings, and decals of bats on her window. Her costume all ready for the holiday was currently on a dress form in the corner, with a zombie head on the top holding her wig for the occasion. All the while for the month she had spooky music playing from her room, out of a skull speaker, which she would eventually place near the door for Halloween night itself.
