Sparrow Throws a Party (I)

"Should we not be heading back--"

"In a moment, Lyn."

The two lords hung around near the back, gazing at the slender figure of one brunet tactician. While the Sacaean-princess tried her best to hide what Eliwood dubbed as 'Undressing her with your gaze', the blue-haired lord beside her didn't even bother with the subtleties. Even when it seemed that Sparrow had locked gazes with him more than once, his stare did not falter.

Judging from the sudden blushing and startled responses the tactician offered the other party she was talking to, it seemed that only Hector had the courage not to hide from his ministrations.

"Hector--"

"In a minute, Lyn."

"That's the fifth same response you gave me." The green haired lady sighed, her green eyes once again gazing up to the tactician. The sudden action caused the distracted lady to search with her own emerald eyes, locking them with the Sacaean's own.

Lyn carefully detracted her gaze to glare somewhat at the blue-haired man beside her.

"Hector!"

"Milady Erandia still has time. Her instructions were 'enjoy yourselves and have fun', was it not?"

"Yes but..."

"Besides, she has Eliwood keeping her company."

Lyn pushed down the guilt forming at her stomach, as the man beside her waved in response to the flustered tactician. The green-haired lord's gaze swept once more over their petite tactician, her brown hair swept up in a clean mix of a ponytail and tresses and her usual green garb replaced by a stunning gown. Simple, yet classy.

Lyn mentally came up with a quick apology at their summoner, seeing as the two of them would be distracted for a while. Lilina and Roy seemed to be doing the same anyway, so really, it's not her fault.

The night carries on without any more worry towards the long-forgotten summoner.

"Are you kidding me?"

Erandia half-screamed half wailed at her phone, the other units around her cringing at her shriek. On the other line, Sparrow mustered an apology before explaining how the other two might be... late once again.

"But... don't you have your units already, Sparrow?"

"W-Well..."

"This is payment for Summer Freddy and Grima Robin, isn’t it?"

As if on cue, shouts came from the kitchen followed by a distinct evil laughter echoing. Gordin, being temporarily in charge while Frederick was incapable, look towards her direction in panic. It was bad enough to have certain units compete against each other, but actively killing each other?

Erandia grimaced as she went over to pat her archer while nodding. The green-haired boy smiled weakly as he led the rest of the main roster towards the source of the explosion.

"So... they'll be staying there for a while?"

"I'm so sorry!"

"It's okay... Not everything is bad... somehow." Her eyes twinkled at Eliwood chatting up Genny, the two having no idea what is running through their summoner's head.

"But... you owe me~"

"Uhh..."

"Just... help me with my first voting gauntlet okay?"

"Oh! Sure thing!"

With a deal in set, Erandia sets her mind towards the other banner...

Ephraim is a great bonus but she swears if she doesn't get Summer Gaius, someone is gonna be in a world of pain.
