Adventures in Askr (Ft. Erandia and Friends)

"And what exactly are you two doing here?" Sparrow resisted the urge to sigh, as she looks at the disaster that is the supposed 'Valentines Dance'.

"Well, we heard there was free sweets--"

"He dragged me along. I did not wish to partake in this ball only in my swim suit."

"Right, you just keep on denying that, Tomato."

Summer Leo ignored the bow wielding thief, as he refilled his plate with more salad (compromise of more tomatoes than lettuces)

"Yes, Gaius. Free food for Valentines units, not Summer ones."

"Aww, come on milady! We'll be here for a short while!"

'This is awfully familiar somehow.' Sparrow thought, not minding the boisterous laughter of Hectors in the background mixed in with Lyn's light scolding.

"Goldie and Erandia are waiting for you two." The summoner tried to appeal to the two units, hoping they get the memo.

"My counterpart is keeping Milady Gold company."

"I'm fast enough to get back in time before Milady Eyebags get too worked up."

The two nonchalantly waved off the summoner's worries as they continued to pick on the buffet table.

"Shouldn't you two at least let them know?" Sparrow eyes them with hidden disdain, knowing that it will be her responsibility again when the two promised units refused to leave her domain.

"Worry not. I sent in Ephraim to console Lady Gold."

"Ehh, I sent in a bunch of Princesses to keep her company." The red-headed thief munched on what looked like a lemon square before placing another brownie on his plate.

"Which princesses, exactly?"

"Oh, a lot of Lissa's."

'Erandia is gonna KILL me.' Sparrow mentally groaned, realizing she's going to have to apologize to her two friends.

Sparrow sighed dreadfully at the ringing mental link-phone as she answers it with a timid 'hello'.

"H-Hey Sparrow... uhh h-how's it--"

"I'm sorryyyyyyyy!!!!" Sparrow cried out, half wanting to cry and wanting to sigh.

"What's up?"

"Gaius is here."

There was a long silence on the phone followed by what seemed to be crashing and several units crying out 'Lady Erandia!' in the background.

"Hey, uh, is he there right now?"

"Yes...?" Sparrow suddenly felt a chill tingle on her back as she motions in Gaius to go near her. The unit seemingly realized what is going on and approached cautiously.

"Okay, he's here now. Feel free to uhh, use your Breidablik to go on loud speaker."

"Hi Gaius! I hope you're having fun there!"

"H-haha, you know me too well--"

"Because you can keep your shiny ass thERE IN DISOWNED-VILLE ALONG WITH TAKUMI--GRRRRR, I'M GETTING INNES INSTEAD YOU PIECE OF--"

Sparrow quickly closed off the mental link before her friend's raging swearing attracted more attention.

'Next time, we're having the party at her place instead.'
