The cats of CliffClan make their home on the open cliffs of the crags, using small caves in the rock face as dens. Although they tend to prefer the openness of the top of the cliff, they are familiar with the tunnels that are etched through the cliffs, and use them as well, especially during harsh leaf-bares. The main camp, and the cats' dens, are inside a larger cave exposed to the surface of the crags, which connects to many of the smaller tunnels where cats make their dens. However, it's not uncommon for cats to sleep outside of the dens in the open air on clear nights, so the open areas of the camp are dotted with small moss nests where cats can doze or share tongues. 

CliffClan cats are hardy and weathered, and have a much more direct style of fighting than their MistClan neighbors. They are used to hunting with little cover, and are superb at tracking prey despite this. These cats are very strong climbers and have little problem scrambling over rocks after prey or to get to a better vantage point during a fight. CliffClan cats prefer to leap down on prey or enemies from above, and are very good at powerful and precise landings. 

The rocky crags are home to a variety of small mammals and reptiles, lizards being a favorite snack for CliffClan warriors. They are also not opposed to eating insects, though some cats prefer to avoid that if possible. The occasional rabbit is considered a feast.
