Day 10 - Tentacles

"And then the cold clammy slimy tentacles wrapped themselves around my legs trailing up my thigh and into…"

"No!! Nope no no no! Pitt you hush now! Don't you be going on with all that nonsense! There are children present and you Can Not! Continue with this cockamamie story any longer. You will refrain from mentioning any and all stories from this point on that are not suitable for G audiences, you hear me?" Loreen crosses her arms glaring at the much shorter auratail. She had enough of his silliness and was not going to stand for him sullying her mechanic shop with his stories any longer.

Pitt sighs trying to look innocently up at the large nunuke woman. "Ah, geeze Lori it was just about me catching dinner. Is that really too much for kids now?" He puts on his most sincere and child friendly expression. "I'll be good, I swear!" Loreen also sighs and turns away from him waving her slight relenting for his story. He grins and winks at the aforementioned "child", Rachelle, Loreen's teenage niece.

She looks up at him, rolls her eyes and looks back at her phone, clearly not having paid him any mind in the first place.

Seeing that his audience was falling off, Pitt attempts to continue, but the moment was far gone for his very interesting and wholey one hundred percent true account of him catching his dinner.

He lets out a grumbly groan. "Aw guys you're no fun. You sure you don't want to hear the story? It was just getting good, I promise!"

Loreen shakes her head wiping down her counter and Rachelle taps away at her phone completely ignoring both of them.

He purses his lips together feeling a true pout coming on when the door of the shop opens with a ding of the bell.

Loreen looks up with a greeting, she was running a business after all. The customer quickly walks up to the counter and starts going on about what's wrong with their vehicle.

Pitt watches for a second, all his plans for the evening thoroughly ruined now. He makes another unhappy noise and slips out the door. He will have to go find a more willing audience for his story (and possibly one more inclined to offer him dinner as well.)
