Journal, I think I almost Died.  

I know I know, I have said that a lot of times this trip but…. I think that it was actually, literally, one hundred and ten percent almost kicked the bucket today. I… I don’t know where to start. I don’t know what to say. I am still so frazzled and discombobulated and, and… Ok. 

So I think I'm above where I need to go underwater. I take the oxy-pill the Doctor made, get all ready up and the crew lowers me down. I'm right above the water and I start hearing this beautiful singing. The crew above me start getting all antsy and almost hoist me back up but I am where I needed to be (I thought) so I jump off the platform. I couldn't risk losing this opportunity. The Doctor is counting on me to get his Treasure after all! I was sure I'd be fine. What was the singing going to do to me anyway?  

So I got to swimming down. I had my counter attuned to the treasure like the Doctor showed me and it was beeping. Not a lot so I thought I had to go deeper. And as I was going and it was getting darker the singing kept getting louder! I was kinda spooked but wasn't going to let no siren deter me from my mission.  

Well, Journal. I wasn't in the right spot after all. I wasn't anywhere near! The Right Spot. I think I was southwest or something a few leagues because as I was going this rock cliff came out of the darkness and there was a beautiful white and pink lady singing at the entrance of a cave and she saw me and waved.  But… *she wasn't waving at me*.  

Journal. She wasn't waving at me at all! I'm still crying Journal. I can barely hold my pen thinking about it. He was so scary. A real Sea Monster. He looked like some kind of messed up angler fish with huge teeth and claws and he was coming right at me. I think he was going to eat me.  It was all I could do to just keep swimming up. 

He didn't chase me though, I don't think and when I surfaced Ava was there on the platform and pulled me up. They took me right to the med bay to make sure I didn't get the bends. They had to put me in this tank thing to depressurize me or something I don't know. I slept so much though I can tell you that. I think I'm going to sleep some more too. I'm going to see his face in my dreams for sure. 

I can't wait to get home.
