Day 21 - Message in a Bottle

My dearest Hexley, I don't know what ever I should do if I had not received your messages all these past years. I know now that those bottles were most likely not for me specifically but they so often found themselves knocking at the entrance to my home, like little bottles of you feeding me snippets of your life. Sharing with you everything you experienced. It was beautiful and terrifying and oh so wonderful.

It felt like you knew me, like you cared. Like you wanted me to care for you in turn. I felt like I knew you, deeply. More than I knew myself. You talked about your deepest desires, your fondest memories, your fears and anger.

I loved you. I do love you with every fiber and core of my being. and I couldn't be happier then where I am right now. What those messages you threw out into the river brought for both of us! It was as if you were calling me to you without either of us knowing.

It's almost like a dream, a beautiful wonderful fantastic dream that I never want to wake up from. or maybe I do, if what I wake up to is you, Hexley.

What a family we have now together, you and I and this child we have made. Did you ever think this would happen ever in your future? That you would have a Wife and Child?

I didn't ever think anything like this was in store for me. I can assure you that. But I am so happy this all did. I wouldn’t trade this for anything else in the entire universe.

I still can’t believe that the River and Waves and Currents decided that your messages would find their way to me and I would find my way to you.

I know I keep saying this but it's so true. You are the best thing to ever happen to me and I am so glad you love me too. Hexley, my Love, my Soulmate, my Everything, thank you for sending that first of so many messages in bottles out into the world.
