[CANON] After defeating the demon that stole Sirius's body, most of the people who were involved in that battle spend a day at an amusement part in Obsyma that had recently opened for free. While things were supposed to be fishy at first, nothing seems to happen? No one is sure why this is the case.

Just so you know, this story canonically happens after a certain arc involving books, but before this one shot!

I. Rest in the enemy's base

It was not surprising to see many groups crashing into Noctem Mansion after a confrontation against what was essentially an impostor in the throne room. Unlikely partnerships were formed to prevent the genocide of the Artherium population as described in one of the books co-written by the mansion’s lord & his masked acolyte. While the defeat of the Executioner allowed Artherium to continue to thrive, everyone who was involved in the battle were extremely exhausted and were struggling to move.

The many casters who contributed to the Executioner’s sealing helped others find rest in either their own rooms or in the mansion’s many guest rooms. It was possible to see two of the dark lord’s acolytes, Vihaan & Xanthos, helping their superior reach his own room for his well-deserved rest. Meanwhile, Valentine, the main healing potion maker, attempted to help some of her friends get back up, but physically struggled to do so due to how heavy they were.

“God, you guys are so hard to help! Y’all heavy as fuck!” Valentine exclaimed, as she struggled to grab Ares from the ground.

“Are you calling us fat? I worked so hard to have my beautiful, handsome & perfect allure, how dare you insult me like this?” Wolfgang barked back, as he managed to get back up by himself.

Atlas could be seen standing beside the throne, laughing at what was unfolding, before almost tripping due to the amount of damage he had received during the fight against the Executioner. At the same time, Okeanos, Minerva & Demiurge were seen rushing all over the room, trying to help out as many people as possible, starting with Helios, then his older sister, before heading towards Sirius’s general direction.

While the actual Sirius was definitely back, his body was in horrible shape due to the Executioner overusing its capacities. And, Sirius himself was not responding to any calls or any touch, which concerned everyone who all spent everything they could just to get their Daybreaker back. However, Okeanos approached his childhood friend and noticed that he was still breathing and that he was still able to move around, even if it was minor. With that, the librarian concluded that Sirius might simply need some extra rest with assistance from some healing magic.

And so, Okeanos & Demiurge spent the next week trying to heal Sirius while being allowed to live in the Noctem Mansion until he recovered from “his” injuries. Meanwhile, Wolfgang’s group, Xena & Greta were allowed to stay in Helios’ room and Demiurge & Minerva were somehow allowed to sleep in Vihaan’s room, although they didn’t seem to enjoy their stay very much.

Sirius spent an entire week in what was essentially a nursing room, but as time passed, he slowly regained the ability to fully use his body thanks to healing magic, which made most people rejoice.

During all of this activity in the Noctem Mansion, many questioned why Procyon did not kick out his own enemies from his mansion. No one is entirely sure of his intentions, especially since the whole Executioner incident was caused by him & his right-hand. Perhaps it was because he felt guilty for getting involved. Or, maybe, it was all intentional, and the lord had already started working on his next plan. Whatever it is, no one knew what Nocturnus was up to, not even those who were closest to him.
