Lieutenant's (Internal Mono)log

I’ve never been good at focusing on things that bore me. It’s just my luck that everything considered ‘important’ bores me. School was a chore, exercising is no fun alone, and no matter how hard I tried, I could never be as good at those things as someone who enjoyed doing them *cough*Lorenzo*cough* It’s just not who I am.

I don’t know what possessed me to switch it up this week, but I like being my regular self. There’s perks. I’m handsome, I’m talented, I’m charming, and people love me! Just ask my crew! To be honest, I was a little worried about this job. Positions of leadership aren’t normally my thing, but it isn’t as stuffy and strict as I imagined, and the skills I have are actually useful! Because they all like me (okay, I’m not too sure about Aiden, but he seems to not hate me), and Lorie trusts me, I can bridge the gap between them.

Though it seems like I might’ve been doing more than just closing the gap lately. When people are telling me I’m not lazy and irresponsible, I know something’s up. My teachers would faint if they heard that, Mom would ask if I was sick, and Dad would probably give me one of his “you didn’t screw up as much as I thought you would” speeches if Lorenzo doesn’t beat him to the punch.

Speaking of Lorie, I’m gonna have to have a little chat with him about getting out of his room more. Ha! How the tables have turned. Now I get to lecture him about responsibilities! Heheheheheh!

Huh? He must’ve not expected me to open the door. He freaked out a little and deleted something. Dunno what that was all about, but whatever.
