Introduction- Theo

”Hyixorian 3, referred to casually as the Trixir Station by locals to the area, was first drafted by Uyrqua Suiq, a pixie engineer with countless great achievements to her name. One of her most well known...” The informative dialogue of the deep-voiced male was just barely able to hold the attention of his listener who was standing in front of the touchscreen display embedded in the wall. The voice was far too calming to be delivering such a meticulously pieced together monologue as it too easily lured the listener closer to sleep. It was accidentally boring- unless of course boring their listener to death was all part of the plan.

“The station is host to a wide variety of recreational activities, including the always popular casino, which…” The male’s voice continued his explaining.
“So, basically, a shit hole.” His listener muttered under her breath with a hint of amusement.
He stopped in his explanation, mid-sentence, just to retort with a short and sweet, “Agreed.”
His listener was almost surprised that she was given a response. “Well, it’s nice that someone agrees with me on that. I better get going, thanks for the information.”
“You’re quite welcome, ma’lady.”
With that interaction complete she headed off down the hallway. The monitor went back to displaying its homepage rather than the transcript of the conversation. He wasn’t too bad for a pixie AI. All of the top-notch stations nowadays were equipped with one, and for the most part, it worked out well. They were helpful, reliable, and far easier to deal with than a real person. All in all, it really made life easier.

She eventually came across a window looking out at the pixie world below, Trixir. Its vast forests were occasionally interrupted by grand pixie cities, taking up extensive amounts of land before instantly fading back into lush greenery. It’s background of stars just added to the beauty of it all, each twinkling ball of incandescent gas telling its own story, warped by the constraints of time. Too bad she’s seen it a million times over. Space, the final frontier for so many, has just become so... normal.

In her moment of inward thought, she noticed her own reflection hidden in the window. Instead of focusing on the display she checked her appearance, making small adjustments when necessary. She smoothed out the deep purple hair partially covering her eye, as it was the only part that needed such attention. The other half of her head was mostly shaved, giving her a rebellious look. Atop her head was a pair of tinted goggles, seeming more for appearance than any actual functionality. They were adorned with useless accessories, most of which border on pretending to be heavily outdated. Her face was pale, dotted with light freckles with hints of the usage of makeup. Her dark, almost glossy brown eyes greatly contrasted the paleness of her face. The rest of her appearance only added to just how recognizable she was. Her overall style just didn’t match any really well-known ones.

The pixies tend to have thin, flowy silk material for their clothing with bright colors and vivid designs. Poppy, and visually stimulating; much like how their cities have a tendency to blind visitors with their bright neon lights. Seeing as this is a pixie station orbiting above a pixie founded and controlled world, it only makes sense that this style is commonplace.

Her own style utilized darker colors, usually browns, oranges, and greens; Her trench coat, just barely lighter than her own eye color, hid many pockets, surely utilized by the wearer. It was definitely fitted just for her, as every aspect matched everything else about her; the form, to stitching, to colors. Either she made the clothing herself or paid a tailor quite a bit for this incredibly precise outfit. Underneath the coat, she wore an orange collared shirt, complete with pine green bow with long ribbons. It bordered on being feminine but didn’t quite make it all the way.

Then there were all the accessories. That had to be her favorite part of an outfit or at least the most tedious to decide on in the morning. Both of her ears were pierced, decorated with an assortment of earrings from simple studs to even a small gauge. She wore a belt with all sorts of unnecessary accessories, including a couple of gears. Why one would put gears on a belt of all things was being most passersby that notice, and presumably, her tailor just decided to not question the odd design choice. All in all, a human might describe her as a steampunk-esque hipster.

She gave her fuzzy reflection one last look before figuring that her hair was a disorderly as it was going to get, so she moved on through the station, heading off towards a place serving breakfast items. Thanks to the AI from earlier she now had the directions. For the intriguing programmer, it felt like morning, but the station had a relatively iffy sense of time. Besides, some food would be a great addition to her trip here, despite the price, which tended to border on almost absurd.
