April Tamable Dragon 1

Shielding his eyes from the heavy storm weather, Clover squinted as Aster more excitedly led him to the area where he had spotted the strange shiny rabbit as he called it. A mostly warm colored creature that had wings on it's butt and ran from Aster when he approached. He didn’t blame the probably small creature, a big noodle with sharp teeth just coming at you during heavy rainfall. That sounded like it would be terrifying for any wild life that would happen to see that image.

“How far are we from the creature?” The dark haired rider asked Aster who was writhing and wriggling in the storm, at home with his element. The blue dragon seemed to remember they were there with a purpose though, with some cat treats Clover had for the house cats, in hope he could lure it out and into a safer area that wouldn’t flood and possibly drown the creature.

“This way! It was so pretty Clover!” He told his rider in his excited ways. Was he excited from the storm or from being useful was anyone’s guess.

Coming to a cave, Clover huhed as he looked in, knocking on the cave wall and sending some echoes through it that faded off. It was dark and barely lit, the entrance already had a pool of water but the cave looked big enough that the rabbit would be safe. He had come all this way though, so inside he went.

“Bunny rabbit? Are you in here?” He called, whistling gently as Aster lingered in the rain for a moment before heading in too. Sadly leaving behind the nice rain that felt nice against his warm smooth scales.

“I think I smell it near the back, we should go get it.” Aster suggested as he grabbed a leaf from the front of the den to also offer it, bunnies liked leaves right?

“Yeah, let’s try that.” Shaking himself off as he pulled his hood down, Clover shook his damp hair as he pulled his hands from his pocket with the treats as he started heading deeper into the dripping cavern that smelled of the rain water.

The pair walked for a bit, maybe a few minutes of following the long and winding tunnels that only lead in one direction. Singing and whistling some songs that Ziva had learned on her adventures into the town for supplies for Kane. They were rather sweet sounding, but Clover knew they were more than likely those weeby songs she heard from the tv shows or whatever those short episodes were called. He had learned to leave her to it.

“There! There is the rabbit!” Rushing towards what looked like just a tan bush with wings and metal on the side. Soon the medium sized creature turned to hop around from Aster. It took him a moment more to realize it was the rabbit Aster had been talking about.

“Aster, stop trying to startle it. Commmmmon.” Cooing at the rabbit as Aster backed off, Clover held out his hand to stroke along the bunny. Though offering some tentative sniffs, it still seemed scared. Ah yes, treats would help ease this he was sure.

Retrieving one of the cat toys that had found its way into his pocket. Seeing those ears perk up, he looked back to the plastic ball with a bell in the center, jingling it again and watching the ears jump as they perked. Humming, he tossed it. Watching as the rabbit chased after the toy. Much amusing to Clover as Aster slowly started chasing it with the medium rabbit.
