April Tamable Dragon 3

The dim sun shined through the treetops, reaching small spots on the ground that were dark aside from the attempt of warm rays of light. Walking through the damp forest, the noise of humming and bird-like singing drifted from the lines of trees that were still getting rained out from the current weather. The noise all blended well with the wildlife who was following along in the sing song life, all coming to life as the worst of the storm had passed and they were left with a drizzle that occasionally came harder but wasn’t pouring buckets like previously. As the pleasant noise filled the forest, there was one other noise that followed the singing tones that were traveling, an off key humming that was trying to follow alongside the other two, doin it's best to sing along with the other even if it was a little bit off.

As a gentle breeze passed out, the light rain became harder for everything under it. THe already muddy and wet ground with various sized puddles getting another shower from nature and the still grey sky colored from the storm that still hadn’t passed over. Thankfully this didn’t bother the storm rider and his pair of storm dragons. All of them were so used to the weather as they traveled far and wide for supplies for their growing hoard that was also their family.

To the surprise of anyone that may happen across them, the singing group of rider and dragons were not wind hybrids in any form. The tall male that was the rider DID so happen to marry a wind rider though. A cheery male who danced and sang away his life in the most beautiful of ways. A way that the feline eared male often joined in, be that on the stage or performing or just in their day to day habits. Their habits of adding the artistry to their daily life rubbed off on the rider who came to start doing it as a calming action for his dragons. His dragons did like the tunes, joining in when they could as some came from their travels. Hopping over a fallen tree that couldn’t take the endless rain, the feline rider did also suspect his son (though young and just learning to crawl) was also a rind rider. The young boy loved to babble in a sing song way, and oh those adorable wiggles he’d try to do when his two fathers were dancing and he wanted to join in.

Finally though, the younger dragon had enough of just songs and humming. Sure, she did that when alone, but currently she wasn’t and Clover was turning her out well. Year of practice from Aster left him blocking out his dragons accidently when his mind was at peace and calm.

“Where going?” The small hen sized dragon asked, hopping along through the mud while the longer noodle dragon wiggled his way and left much larger tracks.

“To see the wild dragon of course!” Aster told Kiwi, as Clover shished Aster.

“Now Aster, Kiwi hasn’t come with us before. Behave now.” He told the other who huffed at him, though Clover was used to his oldest and huffiest dragon.

“Ooooo, wild dragon! Like Beloved!”

“Just like her, yes. But not a bird this time.” Gasping, the small dragon was so easily amused and Clover couldn’t help but smile at her for this. Not that the other dragon liked how much attention she was getting. Shoving his head into Clover’s hand as Clover scratched behind his ears. “Stop being so jealous Aster, you are a good boy too.”

The trio kept trekking on, Clover hopping over a large puddle, hsi tail swishing as he moved from humming to singing. In his opinion, his voice was not as nice and Kane’s but his dragons seemed to like it as he got more in the musical mood. They joined in as well. Kiwi singing in her higher pitched voice, and Aster much better at actual singing and was the deeper voice that was just a second behind. It made it feel all that more whimsical as they finally came to the cave.

In the cave entrance the shiny metal looking rabbit was sitting there, nose twitching along with its ears as it was waiting for the rider and his pair of dragons today. As they came often he wasn’t surprised, but still amused as he saw the warm colored bean.

“Hello there bunny, are you waiting for us?” He asked the rabbit, who looked at him and sniffed his face.

Pleased to see the kind rider and the familiar dark blue noodle who went straight after to start wiggling about. Aster wasn’t all that in a play mood today, so he just coiled up where the rabbit snuggled into the warm dragon, making a soft noise as Aster blinked, staring at Clover who went into the mouth of the cave to sit.

“I-is it talking?” He asked Clover, who was making himself comfortable.

“Probably, why don’t you talk back.” He suggested, seeing kiwi from the corner of his eye creeping up to investigate the rabbit dragon.

“Errrrr, hello?” He said, getting twitchy ears and a sniff he was more used to.

Debating it over, Kiwi hopped forward. THe pair both surprised before Kiwi hopped off as she came. The playful bunny chasing after her with Aster close behind. Leaving Clover to just smile and sigh at the group. He supposed he could just leave them to play for now, they were cute enough after all just doing their playful dragons things
