April Tamable Dragon 2

Sighing as it was still raining, Clover did wish that April and it's showers didn’t last so long at times. His hands were tucked deeply into his pocket, hood pulled to cover most of his face which hid a lot of his vision too.  It was a needed thing though, but even the hot dessert had received a rain shower and left the ground damp and everyone remained inside that could fit. It left him debating maybe he should expand the house more, but with Kane just getting Jaime on a regular schedule he didn’t want to mess up what his darling husband had done so far. It was a pain getting that cute ginger bundle to behave and not suck on random rocks and dragons.

“Kane said he should be crawling soon, so maybe that is a pipedream.” Aster told Clover as his drippy looking body wiggled through the muddy ground, the dirty clinging to the noodle but he didn’t seem to mind at all as hsi face tilted to the sky.

“Yeah, but a father can dream.” He didn’t mind if they soon had to chase the small irrit around the house, he just hoped he’d be there for it. He was away so much now, it left him sad that he may miss his first child’s big steps. His ears drooped as he made him feel like a bad parent, but his storm noodle leaned over to rub on him.

“I’m sure we’ll be home, Jaime likes showing off when you’re home after all.” Humming at that, Clover supposed that was true. That small bundle was so excited when everyone was home, and made sure to be only the best of growing kids when Clover AND Kane were there cooing at him how he was such a good baby boy.

“Yeah....” Though he wasn’t sure, it gave the rider some hope.

Hopping over a puddle that Aster just wiggled on through, the cave they found the large rabbit dragon in was easy to find after the first attempt. It blended in well to its environment, but clover could tell from the familiar scent even if some of it was washed away from the rain.

“Bunny Rabbit, are you in here?” Clover cooed as Aster went straight in.

The red rabbit dragon hopped around. It’s chiny metal pieces catching some of the sunlight that was shining through the holes in the ceiling, it’s tiny tail wiggling as it saw Clover. A smile came to his face as he cooed again, offering a hand to stroke it’s head while Aster rolled on the ground.

Gentle for once, Aster had quite the knack for finding those wild but friendly dragons who just needed a nice friend to snuggle up to. Crouching down like a playing cat, the rabbit hopped forward and Aster rolled himself to be taller, wiggling away from the rabbit.

“Did the two of you want toys?” He asked, swinging his bag around as the bell on it had the rabbit’s ears perking up, coming close slowly to sniff at the bag when Clover started pulling out bouncy balls, bell balls, crinkle toys, and a variety of other things that were spare cat toys that the cats of the house didn’t always use as they were pretty chill of played with each other. There seemed to be a tennis ball in there as well, more than likely a gift from Kloud.

Staring at the things tossed to the floor, Aster was quiet before his tail bat at a ball, sending it across the cave floor where the rabbit chased it.
