”The sea!” Gullpaw exclaimed. Finally! Somewhere he could hunt where there was absolutely no chance of finding a mouse by accident. And it was bright and orange and beautiful in the evening light, too.
Gannetpaw snickered, and in a sarcastic tone, that somehow also matched Gullpaw’s almost exactly exclaimed; ”The cliff!”
”We’re cats! That doesn’t matter. We could climb down there no issue, and have a good dinner!”
Adoniscloud chuckled.
”You can both wait until the sun’s down, right?”
”Why would we need to wait until then? We could go down, get some food, find somewhere to sleep, and continue tomorrow, well fed!”
”Well, I guess we could wait that long, I just thought you might want to meet your siblings again today, right? We can wait for tomorrow, though if that’s what you want?”
