The Water Realm

A realm that is entirely underwater, appearing as a huge ocean to the other realms. Cities of coral and limestone lay peacefully at the bottom; a faint glow illuminates the cities in the deep blue. The terrain is that of an ocean floor with caves, mountains, forests of kelp, fields of coral, and stretches of nothing besides the expanse. Any aquatic beings reside here such as merpeople, water dragons, elemental sprites and fairies, whales, crabs, krakens, levianthans, selkies, and sirens. Cultures vary from city to city, though throughout the entire realm it is constant that all praise Cthulu. Cities are equipped with air tight spaces for visitors that cannot breathe underwater, these spaces are connected by magically sealed air tunnels and pathways. All important buildings, such as shops, town halls, and post offices are required to be functional for both water and air breathing creatures. Sea lanterns are scattered around the landscape as the deep ocean is devoid of all sunlight due to the depth.
