The Time Realm

This realm is mostly deserted. It houses the five temples of time, which hold together the fabric of time itself. Each temple is guarded by a god or guardian and their locations are unknown to anyone. The temples hold the time crystals; these crystals, if stolen from the temple, can cause devastating effects in the entire world and the realms within. All crystals must be in their temples at all times, if not then time will begin to speed up or even stop in parts of the realms. While there are four main temples, the fifth temple is much smaller and controls only the non-magic realm. That temple has no relevance to the fate and/or time of the magic realms, thus is the least worried about and guarded by a weaker god, or gods in training. The terrain itself is that of a desert, vast and dull, covered with some sort of light fog. Anything that enters the time realm, that doesn't originate from it, ages much slower than the those in the other realms. Although, it is known that due to this altering in the body, some beings may mutate once entering the realm. There is no cure for said mutations and those creatures usually wander the terrain, some hostile some not.
