How do I submit my MYO?

We have two ways for you to submit your MYO design for approval! We have a discord channel that you can use as a way to have your MYO checked and approved. Otherwise, submitting your design to toyhouse or privately messaging a moderator or MYO manager about your design on either discord or toyhouse will do! Please be sure to screenshot the approval for 'proof' of your MYO being properly checked, so we are able to keep track. If your design is approved by one moderator, but denied by another, please let us know! We may have made a mistake and there may have been some miscommunication between the staff on your design. 

How do I obtain an MYO?

We will be having various events where you may be eligible to win an MYO. This includes (but is not limited to) MYO raffle events, free MYO events, FTO MYO events, monthly prompt rewards/prizes, our personal species prompt store, and other events! We will also be making adoptables for our species, which will be purchasable by the community.

What is the best way to contact the staff?

We have seven staff members in total! Our most surefire way of answering any questions or addressing any concerns will be through our discord server or discord DMs. Our moderators are active on Toyhouse, but not as regularly as discord. Your Toyhouse inquiry will be seen, but if you have a pressing question or concern we recommend our discord for our fastest available answer! Also be sure to contact the proper staff manager for your questions, for example don't ask a community manager an MYO question, refer to the admins or the MYO managers instead! We want to provide the fastest and most accurate answers we can, but we are a small group of people, so please be patient with us, especially as a new species! Some questions may take discussion among the staff before being answered!

Lore/History

'Moltepsis' refers to the name of the entire realm! The world is a small continent composed of two islands and an archipelago of corrupted islands, which separate the warm island from the colder, smaller island. On the warmer island there is a vast desert with a mesa at its edge, cut off from a flower meadow, forests, and a swamp by a wide river. The corrupted islands are mostly barren, rocky terrain, with a small forest on the largest island. The water around the islands is also teeming with corruption. The smaller colder island is home to a vast tundra, snowy arctic mountains, and a glacier. Moltepsis has only one moon, resembling Earth's moon and the usual moon phases. 

Corruption in Moltepsis

The corruption was caused by a gargantuan aquatic creature that resembled an amalgamation (similar to an eldritch horror) that died in the vast ocean long before the islands of Moltepsis were created. When the volcanic eruptions that eventually formed Moltepsis began, the creatures' corpse, flesh, and blood infected the water around the middle islands, which over time corrupted the islands themselves, and the creatures on the islands. The bones of the creature remain within the volcanic rock and the deep watery space between the corrupted isles. The volcanos which once created Moltepsis and spread the corrupted are now inactive, causing the corruption to slowly recede over a period of (years). Before the corruption had receded off the warmer island innocent creatures known as Bunaroo’s drank the corrupted water. This caused the Bunaroo curse, and although those that drank the water are no longer alive, their legacy continues in the Bunaroo’s of today.

Bwgpuffs

Bwgpuff's [Pronounced boog-puffs] are a mostly peaceful bug-based species in Moltepsis. Bwgpuff's are only occasionally cannibalistic, depending on the kind of insect or arachnid a Bwgpuff is based on. Bwgpuffs tend to live a lifespan around 70 to 80 years long, the shortest lifespan of any species in Moltepsis. Bwgpuffs live in the swamps, meadows, and deserts of Moltepsis, but they can flourish under many circumstances, including in the corruption of the corrupted isles. 

Corrupt Cows

The corrupt cows are a carnivorous species that is one of the main predators of the bunaroos. They can live for very long periods of time, upwards of 1,000 years although they reach their maturity around 20 years. They live mostly on the corrupted isles, all the earth, ocean, and sky around it. They stem from a giant creature that came from the oceans of Moltepsis, similar to an eldritch horror, and it polluted the area around the corrupted isles with its corruption

How do Currency work?

We use the currency 'Sea-Glass Bones', Bones for short! Our currency can be used to buy various items in our shop, which includes Lootboxes, Seasonal Lootboxes, Trait Upgrades, and more! All information on items in our shop can be found below, including what you get for buying the items!

Although we have two species (or more in the future), our currency is universal! Bones are collected (in our lore) from shores and beaches of Moltepsis. If you find that you have a lot of currency, you're a certified seashell searcher!

Rules on earning

Bones can be earned in various different ways. The easiest way is through our monthly prompts! Each month we will have a prompt, and participation in the prompt will automatically gain you a Bone! Other methods, such as winning the prompt votes, events, and other TBD methods are other ways to gain our currency!
