Neo octo valley

This city is known for its historical architecture and population of freed Octarians. Many parts of the city are under construction. 

Once a place that was home to Squidlings and Octarians alike for generations, the Great Turf War left this city in shambles. The octarians being forced to retreat underground made the population significantly drop, and soon the remaining Squidlings left for bigger cities such as Inkopolis. With the city now being abandoned, the buildings began to be overrun by plants and wild animals. 

Many years later, Octolings who had managed to escape the underground came to this deserted city, as its location and lack of Squidlings made them feel safe. Over time this place became home again.

With more and more Octolings flooding into the city from underground, the city is now officially being rebuilt. Octolings of different skills are happily lending a hand to make this a bustling city. Bigger cities are also helping, but this has mostly been the work of freed Octolings.

A lot of the city is still under construction, with many buildings having an array of construction workers and exposed beams. New buildings that have been finished have an unmistakably Octarian look. Old buildings are still in use, but they’ve been touched up on the inside. The Octolings have found that they like the beauty of the overgrown vines on the walls. Repurposed Octarian technology also roams the streets and helps Octolings with work, such as Squee-Gs freely cleaning up areas, and flooders helping carry large objects. 

This city also has many services specifically for Octolings in need. A program exists for newly freed octolings to find a home, receive income and to help them find jobs when they’re ready.

Stages 

Kanaloa Courtyard- A maze of hedges and cracked stone walls that are covered in vines.. a crumbling statue sits in the middle of the stage. Small streams of water throughout the stage create hazards. 

Buildings

Barreleye Studios- A 4 story tall glass building that sits in the main area of Neo Octo Valley. This newly built building is an attraction for the octoling youth. This is where the duo CUE 88 record music and present the daily news.
