Make Your Own (MYO) Information

Are you looking to make your own Cutie? Look no further! Welcome to the MYO center! Here you can find an overview and information on what MYOs are and how they work. Due to some of our approval practices, a MYO can not be created exclusively through Toyhou.se. You can find our on-thread MYO hub here.

What is a MYO?

MYO - or make your own - is when you can create your own Cutie! Anyone can create a MYO Cutie, including community members who are not artists. Put simply, when you use a MYO voucher, you gain temporary permission to create an official Cutie, regardless of Artist status. More detailed information on the process and rules can be found below.

x1 Standard Cutie MYO Voucher
This Voucher allows you to create one Cutie of unlimited uncommon rarity and below.
This Voucher is only good for Dog, Cat, Pony, or Deer species.
Price: $5 USD

x1 Rare Trait MYO Voucher
This Voucher allows you to add one rare trait onto your Cutie MYO.
This Voucher is only good for Dog, Cat, Pony, or Deer species.
Price: $3 USD for 1, or $5 USD for a bundle of 2.

USD Purchase Information: You will be prompted to pay kiwipen through PayPal. Information will be provided through Toyhou.se or Discord DMs. Do not pay for your MYO voucher through Ko-fi. 

Disclaimer: Your voucher purchase can be denied as seen fit, for any reason. Accounts registered less than a month before posting, empty accounts, or otherwise potentially suspicious activity may be rejected. This should not be a common occurrence, but will be put in place to protect Cuties and our staff members.

How does it Work?

First, please head over to this Google Drive to gain access to the available MYO bases. You can download as few or as many as you'd like! Though, we do recommend trying out all the bases until you find one you enjoy working with.

Please note: Official Machine bases and MYO bases are different, unrelated bases. Machine bases will not be accepted as MYO Cuties, and MYO bases will not be accepted into the machine.

How Many can I Make?

You can make as many MYOs as you have vouchers for! There's no limit on how many MYO Cuties you can create or own. Add-on Vouches, like +1 Rare Trait Vouchers, are used on a per-MYO basis. You can use as many as you'd like on a single MYO!

What can I do with MYOs?

Here's a comprehensive list of everything you can do with a MYO Cutie!

• Register your MYO as an official Cutie (Required)
• Crop the picture to be snug with the pixel lines (Required)
• Sign your full Flight Rising ID# underneath the "Cuties MYO" signature (Required)
• Color the lines
• Edit your MYO Cutie within the rarity chart
• Change expression, eye position, etc freely
• Use minor pose editing (No major restructuring of the neck, head, or their position to the body. Everything else is open!)
• Use cheaper / more common traits to mimic more expensive / rarer ones (such as accessory wings, horn headbands, etc)
• Add "companions" or pets to the picture
• Let your imagination run wild! If it doesn't fit in things you can't do, it's probably okay to do!
• Test the limits of our rarity system!

What can't I do with MYOs?

• Color outside the lines (Except for: off-body glitter, sparkles or halo, if rarity allows)
• Use Epic traits without a voucher
• Edit the lineart to be thicker
• Create a lineless Cutie (Lines must be present.)
• Use more Rare traits than you have vouchers for
• Make a custom base to create a Cutie on. (Heavy edits are okay, as long as some part of the original base is visible and identifiable.)
• Copy / Mimic another person's design
• Create Fandom-based designs
• Use any other bases than those found in the MYO base drive.

• You can ask another person to design your MYO for you!
• You can pay another person to design your MYO for you!
• You can advertise your own MYO design services
• You can charge any currency you see fit for your MYO design services
• You can collaborate on MYO designs! Just keep adding signatures!
• You cannot sell your MYO until 2 weeks after approval. 
• You can gift, trade, sell, or otherwise rehome MYO Cuties freely, with the exception of the above stipulation. 
• MYOs can not be transferred to banned users. If you attempt to transfer a MYO to a banned user, you will be notified and warned. Breaches of this specific rule will result in dire consequences.
• Even if you transfer a MYO Cutie to someone who is not otherwise involved in the community, you must notify us and complete the proper trading procedures. 
• Cuties made using paid MYO vouchers can be sold for the currency you used to pay for the vouchers, or lower.
  • A MYO Cutie created with a USD-purchased Voucher can be resold for USD or fictional currency
  • A MYO Cutie created with a fictional currency-purchased Voucher can only be resold for fictional currency.

Please register your MYO Cutie on our main thread, filling out the below form as well as you can. Make sure that you save your Cuties' image as a transparent .png file!

I have questions about if something is allowed, where / who should I ask?

For a faster response, please consider joining the Cuties Discord! If you don't have Discord, but do have Flight Rising, please send in an inquiry on our Fanclub thread. Want to stay on Toyhou.se? This may be a slower option, but you can also consult our Questions board. 

Where can I get feedback on my design?

The Cuties Discord, Fanclub and our Questions board (all linked above!) are your best options! If you're posting in the Discord or Fanclub, please make sure to regard the person above you, so no one's missed or ignored!

Where do I register my Cutie MYO?

MYOs may only be registered on our main Flight Rising-based thread. Please see our section above about getting your MYO registered!

If someone designed a MYO for me, who submits it?

You do! If your vouchers are being used for the MYO, you should be the one posting the form. If it needs changes, they can make changes, and you can resubmit.
