Introduction to Trading
Have a Cutie you've fallen out of love with? A Breeding that rolled more than you'd like to keep? Trading is an excellent option to designs you like more than the ones you currently have. And better yet, the Cuties community very actively takes part! Cuties can be traded for items, fictional currency, and, of course, other Cuties!
Setting Up a Trade
To start trading, first choose Cuties that you're looking to rehome! Once you have Cuties that you'd like to let go, you can start advertising your trade listings or offering on other community member's. Please make sure to clearly mark your Cuties you're looking to trade! As our Terms of Service forbid approaching someone for their Cuties, making sure it's easy to find who is listed to trade can aid in receiving offers.
If you want to advertise the Cuties you have for trade, you can advertise them in our forums, on our fan club thread on Flight Rising, or in the appropriate channels in our Discord server! Listings should include what you're looking for in exchange for your Cutie, and a link to them or their image!
If you're looking to offer on other people's Cuties, you can check our trading board, post on our fan club thread on Flight Rising, or browse the trading channels in our Discord server. Before approaching someone, make sure that the Cutie you're offering on is visibly listed for trade. This could include character tags, a note on their character page, being placed in a trade folder, or a trade listing offered somewhere.
Cutie Trade Restrictions
Some Cuties have restriction placed on them! These are largely centered on the way you acquired them. Rountinely breaking the rules outlined below is a break of Cuties Terms of Service, so please do your best to follow them! Here's a quick rundown of acquisition methods and approved methods of trade associated with them.
Machine, Custom and Breeding - No RLC sales
Ko-fi Customs and USD MYO - No restrictions, including RLC sales
Cuties Gifted to You - No trade or sales unless with the gifter's permission
Cuties Won from a Free Raffle - No transactions, gifting and raffles only
Cuties Won from a Paid Raffle - No RLC sales
If you have a Cutie obtained through another method you're looking at rehoming, please feel free to reach out and ask if you have any questions!
Finalizing a Trade
Once you've worked out the Cuties or items trading hands, you have to make everything official! Since everything is banked and archived by hand, transactions must be done through either our Discord or on the main Cuties thread utilizing the proper forms. These forms include what's being traded, who it's being traded to, and the reason for the transaction.
Depending on the method of payment (such as art!), you may be requested to provide proof of the other side of the transaction being completed. While we do our best to protect Cuties community members, things still occasionally go wrong! This is a measure to help make sure the art is actually completed.
If you trade a Cutie and don't receive your agreed upon payment, please contact a Cuties admin.
