===Kyanarrs===

===Basic Description===

Kyanarrs are the hybrid species of Kyomes and Nyanarrs. They were accidentally created when a lesser deity Meno stole a necklace that was gifted to Kyomes by an ancient goddess of harmony and balance - Harmonia. He was responsible for breaking the gem of the necklace, and the shards were found many years later by the Nyanarrs living in Gaidinia. It took some generations for Kyanarrs to appear, as it took the time for the shattered gem to influence the magical powers of the Nyanarrs, combining them with the soul of the lesser deity.

And so the Kyanarrs were born - those who are neither Nyanarrs nor Kyomes. Those who are both Nyanarrs and Kyomes. They wield the magical elemental power, but they can also grant the dreams, if they choose so.

Kyanarrs don't have a Traits Guide - they can use both the traits of Nyanarrs and the traits of Kyomes.

Kyanarrs are an original species from Gaidinia. They are the hybrid species of Kyomes and Nyanarrs.
A kemonomimi humanoids with animal ears and tails, although a Kyanarr might have a Kyome-type of tail if they choose to pursue the way of granting the dreams. In that case, a Kyanarr has horse-like tail, tied with the soul string.
Their specialty is the ability to control elemental magic - unlike Nyanarrs, Kyanarrs can control up to two elements. According to what element Kyanarrs are born with, they are divided into common Kyanarrs (water, fire, earth, and air), rare Kyanarrs (the combination of two common elements or either dark or light element), or very rare Kyanarrs (the combination of dark and light). Along with that, once a Kyanarr becomes adult, they can choose one of the two options - to live as a Nyanarr and only control the elements, or to live as a Kyome and obtain the ability to grant dreams or nightmares. They are born as either corrupted or non-corrupted, but their dream powers won't become available until they choose the way of a Kyome. If they do, they are not able to fall asleep anymore and they must fullfil their role as a dream granter. They're connected to a Dreamer and the bond shall not be severed until the death or one or the other.

===Where do Kyanarrs live?===

Kyanarrs live mostly in Aditone, although they are able to live in any part of the world of Gaidinia. If not Aditone, they might prefer the locations that would be best for their element. (ex. Fire Kyanarrs usually live in the hot zones, for example Zhrugh or Ligeria, while Water Kyanarrs prefer Meizisia or Mezthrain)

===Kyanarrs and Elemental Magic===

While each Nyanarr is born with one elemental magic, Kyanarrs are able to control one or two elements. Their  powers vary, as Kyanarrs are born with different amounts of talent and magical power. However, a lot of these given predispositions can be influenced by training and practice in order to improve their magic.

The source of Kyanarr magic are their upper and lower fluff balls. The magic protects these parts of their body as well as the string connecting them. It is almost impossible to damage the string, and if it happens, the Kyanarr dies immediately. Due to the magical nature of the fluff balls, different effects may appear on/around them. For example, flower growth may appear on the fluff balls of Earth Kyanarrs, or flames  on the fluff balls of fire Kyanarrs. Kyanarr elemental magic is connected to their soul and heart, therefore it reflects their emotional state as well. In other words, if they feel angry, scared, surprised, or any  other intense emotion, their magic can activate in the area of their fluff balls. It's easier to control this for Kyanarrs who train their element a lot, therefore, we can say that the ability to control automatic activation of elemental magic is directly dependent on the Kyanarr's general control of their element.

As already partly mentioned, not all Kyanarrs have the same amount of control over their element as the others. Talent and control(training) are not the same things. A very talented (powerful) Kyanarr can also be incapable of controlling the enormous amount of power they were born with, and therefore their elemental magic is really hard for them to control. They need to train and practice their elemental magic to gain control. On the other hand, Kyanarrs can be born very good at controlling their magic, but the elemental magic itself doesn't need to be as strong. This can be also  improved with training. And yes, there are Kyanarrs who are born both talented and skillful in controlling their power, however, it is rather rare.

The more powerful and skillful the Kyanarr, the stronger and better they can use their element. While Kyanarrs with two elements have twice as much to train, they can be also considered a lot more powerful once they're skillful enough. A Kyanarr with two common elements can be as powerful as a Kyanarr with one rare element. There's a very low chance for any Kyanarr (or Nyanarr!) to be as powerful as a Kyanarr with both rare elements though. In fact, it almost doesn't happen at all.

===Kyanarrs and their Dreamers===

Once a Kyanarr reaches the age of maturity and chooses to live their life as a Kyome, their sole purpose of life has changed. They're supposed to stay with their dreamer and guard the dreams for the rest of the dreamer's life. A dreamer is the person who is granted the dreams by Kyanarr/Kyome. The bond shared between Kyanarr and their bonded person is very important, although it doesn't mean that the Kyanarr must like their dreamer! If something happened to their Kyanarr, the person would lose their ability to dream and it would eventually lead to a growing emptiness inside of them. They aren’t consciously aware that they lost someone, but deep down, they can feel it. It can result in  long periods of profound sadness and depression that they can’t shake away nor explain. In some cases, though it’s not very common, they can even lose their mind. Since species outside Gaidinia don’t know about  their dream granters, it can seem like this came out of nowhere or had no palpable cause. Yet, this loss is even worse for Kyanarrs, who live for their dreamers, so to speak. The length of their life depends on the other and so after their person dies, they usually follow soon after. Of course, there is a possibility for the Kyanarr to stay alive - to cut their tail and continue living. It's much more usual for Kyanarr to continue their life, as they spent a part of their life without the ability to grant the dreams, unlike Kyomes.

===Kyanarr Biology===

Biologically, Kyanarrs are almost identical to Nyanarrs - except the parts they share with Kyomes.
They have five fingers on each hand and five toes on  each foot. Their teeth can be of any shape (regular, long fangs, shark like, etc.) Kyanarrs can have any natural skin tone (rarely unnatural colors occur) and any hair color. Their fluff balls do not need to match their hair, and they do not need to match each other. There is also no color restrictions in terms of elements and hair colors/skintones (ex. Fire Kyanarr can have blue hair just fine, etc.).

Just like for Kyomes, another characteristic traits for Kyanarrs are their so-called real eyes and their tails. Their tails are horse-like tails if they pursue the way of Kyome - it's made of hair, not fur! They usually reach down their feet or even longer than that. Kyanarrs never cut (unless they lose their  dreamer) or over-stylize their tails. Their tails symbolize their bond with their dreamer and the string they are wrapped with is always of the color of their dreamer's soul. Kyanarrs who live their usual life as a Nyanarr can have different tails. They don't have the soul strings, but they can have furry tails!
Kyanarrs have blind "false eyes" appearing on their faces and "real eyes" - which are unique to Kyomes and Kyanarrs. In regards to real eyes, those are "extra" eyes on Kyanarr's body that function normally like common eyes, they can blink and move around,  however, Kyanarrs do not use any their eyes to see, their real eyes grant them something called "the vision" which is the way Kyanarrs see and perceive the world - in other words, even if all Kyanarrs's false eyes and real-eyes are closed, they can still see, feel, and comprehend what is  going on around them. Kyanarrs also always have feather-like ears and they usually cover their false eyes (because, as mentioned, the eyes are not  functional). It is a habit that is either preferred or not. Some Kyanarrs cover their eyes with blindfolds or hair while others don't.

They can also have the feathery ears of Kyomes and/or the little charms (symbols) hanging down their ears. They are  usually simple little symbols such as hearts, stars, dots, tears, or other geometric shapes. Rarely, they can have eye-shaped symbols hanging down from their ears. These aren't earrings, they're a part of the Kyanarr's ear and cannot be removed. Kyanarrs can have earrings and other piercings, though!
Unlike Kyomes, Kyanarrs can have other mammalian ears as well, they're not limited to feathery ears.

Kyanarr genes work the same as human/Nyanarr genes, the rarer a certain trait or gene is, the lower the chance of passing it down to their offspring. In the case of elements, those are genetically passed from parents to children.  Therefore, two fire Kyanarr parents will almost always have fire Kyanarr child (unless there is, for example, a gene deviation where one of the  grandparents is, let's say water, therefore, there is a very tiny chance the child might control the water). Genetically common elements are the strongest (ex. fire Kyanarr and light Kyanarr will almost always have fire Kyanarr child) and the rarest elements are genetically weakest.  However, in terms of power and magic, it is the exact opposite - talent is very commonly passed from parents to their children.
Kyanarrs with two elements are much more likely to bear children who also control two elements.
Very rare Kyanarrs (dark x light) can only be born if both the parents and grandparents control both of these elements as well.

When the world was still young, only Nyanarrs were of the few who roamed  through the wilds of Gaidinia. They only knew the rare elements of light and dark and the common elements of fire, water, air and earth. The powers of wood, metal, ice and electricity were not known yet, the Kemuchiis and the Thalemimis didn't even exist.

A long time ago, an ancient artifact, a gift from the goddess Harmonia herself, was in  the possession of Kyomes. The creatures, capable of granting the dreams  to any humanoid species, were proud of their magic. The artifact was  supposed to help them, to increase their powers. It was a necklace  adorned with a beautiful gem looking like a piece of the galaxy. It was meant to help bringing the balance by connecting the non-physical world  of Kyomes and the world of Dreamers.
One day, the necklace went  missing though. The culprit was known as Meno, a lesser Kyome deity who  was not content with how things were. He despised the fact that Kyomes  had no purpose, other than creating the dreams and nightmares. So the  deity took matters into his own hands. He stole the artifact and poured  his soul into, sacrificing his life. This resulted in the gem shattering to pieces. The balance was destroyed and chaos ensued. Everyone was  trying to find the gift from Harmonia, but everyone failed.

Until  .. The pieces of the gem were found years later by an accident. The curious Nyanarrs who found it were mesmerized by its beauty so most decided to keep the shards. They didn't know what they kept.
Those who stayed in close proximity to the gem were eventually affected by the  power that was stored inside. It seeped into their bones and slowly  changed their very being. Nobody was able to notice the shift at first, but after generations, the first hybrids were born. The combination of  the Kyome's soul and the bodies of Nyanarrs, held together by the very  own powers of Harmonia itself, were responsible for the creation of a  new hybrid species - Kyanarrs.

===Interesting Facts===

- Nearly all Kyanarrs have common red blood - just like other humanoids.  The only exception are Light Kyanarrs (who can have glowing white blood), and Dark Kyanarrs (who can have void black blood) (including Very Rare Kyanarrs) - and seldomly Kyanarrs who have unique blood as a trait.
- Kyanarr furballs do not need to match in color or pattern.
- Kyanarr furballs are sensitive and every Kyanarr reacts differently to being touched (some like it, some don't, some don't care).
- Kyanarr furballs are always rounded unless a very special rare Event Trait Upgrade is used.
- Kyanarr lower furballs are like vital organs to them. There is a core that contains the source of their magic, then a thin layer of muscle, and then skin and fur. If cut off (which is very unlikely to happen) they will instantly die.
- There are no uncommon element Kyanarrs (wood, metal, ice, electric) as uncommon element Nyanarrs evolved after Kyanarrs. Their evolution happed side by side.
- It is possible for Kyanarr to turn into Vampires if bitten by an Alpha Vampire or Werewolves if infected with the lycanthropy virus. Any non-physically changing supernatural creature is okay (ex. witch), however, if the desired creature is different in physical appearance (ex. centaur, mermaid, zombie) that is not possible without a very special rare Hybrid Upgrade.
- Kyanarr's real eyes can be anywhere on the body except on their actual eyes
- Both corrupted and non-corrupted Kyanarrs can grant both good and bad dreams! Corrupted Kyanarrs simply grant mostly nightmares, while non-corrupted Kyanarrs grant mostly normal dreams. Half-corrupted Kyanarrs are simply an anomaly - a very rare one.
- Every time a Kyanarr's dreamer sees their Kyanarr, the Kyanarr gets weaker (this can potentially kill the Kyome).
- Kyanarr's real-eyes color and the color of their string (dreamer's soul color) don't need to match. However, they commonly do.
- Kyanarr's real-eyes can blink and move, they also can have lashes, but it is not necessary.
- Just like Kyomes, Kyanarrs can also only have one dreamer for life.
- Kyanarrs cry from their false eyes.
- Kyanarr's dreamer can be any humanoid species, not only other Gaidinian species and humans.
