Gaidinian Pets Info

===PETs===

===Basic Description===

There are numerous special Gaidinian pet species that live nowhere else but in Gaidinia that your Gaidinians can own. Some of them were domesticated, therefore, they can be found living in the wild as well as in your living room. You can find further info about all the pet species available in #info-lore. But don't forget that they are not free to create! You must obtain a MYO slot before creating your own or purchase an existing Gaidinian pet adopt.

===What are Gaidinian Pets?====

Gaidinian Pets are a special closed feral species of Gaidinia. They were created to become companions of species of Gaidinia. They come in all the shapes and sizes you can think of. They have different personalities and abilities and finding the best match for your Gaidnian might be a challenge. Scroll down to take a look at all the Guides of available Pet species of Gaidinia to check which one of these species will be the best match to your Gaidinian!

===Where do they live?===

All pets live in various regions of Gaidinia only. Most of the species can be found in both the wild and as domesticated pets (some of them more, some of them less). Domesticated Gaidinian pets live with their owners in homes just like any regular pets (ex. cats dogs) do! They like to be snuggled (most of them), played with, and loved. They will in return love and accompany your Gaidinian in their everyday life.

===Pets and Gaidinians===

Your Gaidinians can own various Gaidinia-only pets! Take a look at their guides to learn more about them and find the best animal companions for your Gaidinians. Different species have different personalities and habits, therefore it is a good idea to take a look before getting a pet - just like in real life! Be gentle to your Numi, and play with your Tsumii! The bond between your Gaidinian and their pet can vary, some Gaidinians have stronger bonds to their pets than others, and it also depends on how your Gaidinian treats their pet(s). Gaidinian Pets are living animals just as any pets and they need to be taken care of (fed, played with, socialized, etc.) and if your Gaidinian takes good care of them they will reward them with a lot of love and snuggles (and if not they will bite them haha!).

===Typology of Pets===

They can be divided into common, uncommon, rare, and unique pet species.

Common pets can be obtained quite easily as there are a lot of them in Gaidinia (think of cats, dogs, and other regular animals). You can tell which pets are common quite easily as they are distributed (sold, raffled) on bases. There are currently multiple common pets; Fuunis (Fuuni in singular), Tawaris (Tawari in singular), Berilis (Berili in singular), Noci (Noc in singular), Numies (Numie in singular), Medy (Med in singular), Dyms (Dym in singular), and Tsumiis (Tsumii in singular).
Then there are uncommon pets. They are rarer and harder to obtain as it is more difficult to find them.
Even rarer are rare pets. Rare pets are always only one of their kind and off-base. They can be obtained mainly through events.
And finally, there are unique pets. This category is slightly different as it can overlap with another category (ex. rare unique pet, common unique pet, etc.). They are unique because every species in Gaidinia have its own unique pet species, that can be owned only by individuals of said species.

For Kyomes, those are Seny (Sen in singular) and Mory (Mora in singular).
For Thalemimis, those are Falrasi (Falras in singular) and Narmis (Narmi in singular).
And for Nyanarrs, those are Puramene (Purame in singular), Nimavs (Nimav in singular), Yaris (Yari in singular), Zemis (Zemi in singular), Maezi (Maez in singular), Cromi (Cromie in singular), Sneh (Sneh in singular), Zaruus (Zaruu in sigular), Nois (Noi in singular), Veosy (Veos in singular).

===Common Non-unique Pets===

1Efe4dbsAfwG9aLmYrhHJOXS3Zp5HA2xA.pngFuuni (pl. Fuunies or Fuunis) are creatures resembling foxes. They're even considered to be vulpines and just like any other pets here - they can only appear in Gaidinia. The name means "The chaser" in Gaidinian language. Wild Fuunies usually live alone and they can reproduce via the seeds from their roses (that look like antennae!). Each Fuuni has such roses and they can be of any color. Each and any gender of the animal can use the seeds for reproduction and they can plant up to three (3) puppies a year. They care of their pups until they are old enough to protect themselves - that's usually by the age of one year. Pet Fuunies are unable to reproduce, they are bred from wild Fuunies. Ziiya, a location that can be found in Overade, is famous for Fuuni breeding. The village is full of these exquisite animals and the citizens are proud of it. You can often see people accompanied by their Fuunies walking  down the streets, even on their way to work. The location is also known  for hosting a lot of beauty contests and races. These animals are carnivores and they prefer to eat small mammals and insect.

1cEENj3wdfeZBNmFgXyud-OIp7tUeaNgR.png

Tawari (pl. Tawaris) - meaning "Citizen". They're small and friendly and quite social creatures. They may resemble a rabbit combined with a small dog. Wild Tawaris live in groups of six to ten (6-10) individuals. The group is called a pack. The mating process involves braiding their wooden tail into their partner's tail. A new unique plant can grow on one of the Tawari's tail and a small one is born. It's a rare process though, it may happen once a few years and they can only have one baby at the time. Tawaris are loyal for life - once one of the couple dies, the other one tends to follow soon after - unless they just had a baby. In such case, the remaining Tamari will stay to take care of it. Each Tawari has horns or antlers made of wood - exactly the same wood as their tail. Their fur is said to be quite soft and sadly they're often being hunted for it. Tawaris are herbivores and they can grow their preferred food on their tails.

Berili (pl. Berilis) means "Berry picker" in Gaidinian language. They are small mammals living in large groups of fifteen to twenty (15-20) individuals. They only eat berries and they collect the fruit into the pocket on their belly. They can only reproduce with magic - The alpha (aka The Parent) of the group is the only Berili who can use the magic to create more of them and it's usually done multiple times a year as Berilis are considered to be the prey and they're being hunted by larger animals. Berilis can only live in warm areas as they need the berries to survive - they don't eat anything else and would not survive with a different diet. They're usually shy but friendly - although they need time to get used to an owner when adopted or purchased. They don't have any problems living as pets - in fact, they do enjoy that. The owner should have at least two Berilis, though, as they prefer to have another of their kind close. They may get depressed if lonely.

1cihOZjDukU-gzvYAHv-TxlwRbgb9fwvv.png

Noc (pl. Noci) can be as small as a rabbit or as tall as a deer. Their name means "Night" and it describes them well. Noci sleep through the day and live through the night. They don't need to see as the other senses are much more important to the creature. Wild Noci are always alone and they only eat insect. To reproduce, a Noc needs to tear off the symbol from their ear, put it into the water where Zana (the moon) shines brightly every night. After a year, a new Noc is born. Wild Noci are unable to reproduce more than twice their life, while pet Noci are not able to reproduce at all. They tend to not get along with other pets so they're usually kept as the only pets for the owners. Once they get used to the owner, Noci get very cuddly and attention seeking. They're very quiet creatures.

1JlshadxLdySJs5yLsOwDDnWLbTZ3y508.png

Dym (pl. Dyms or Dymy) are fast and shy creatures. The name means "Smoke". Wild Dyms are very difficult to find and catch since they're as cunning as fast. Their height is similar to a fox, although they look more like a dog. Any part of their body can turn into a smoke. Dyms are carnivores and they usually hunt small mammals (including Berilis or other animals, such as rats, mice, hedgehogs and more). They live as individuals but reproduce sexually. Dyms are not loyal to their partners - once they mate, the males leave and the females care of their pups. The next year, the male will find a different female to mate with. Dyms are quite stubborn, even as pets. The owner needs to train their Dym to behave well but if the animal likes their person, the Dym becomes very protective. They're known for their great hearing but not as good sense of smell.

1bTHFHk3zocQXFDVHTX-5nFrhy56H3YBR.png

Med (pl. Medy or Meds) means "Honey" and that's their favorite food! They are a breed of a bear, although a small one. Medy are friendly creatures - they're lazy and slow but they do eat a lot! Other than honey, they prefer to eat various kinds of herbs, so they can be considered herbivores. To reproduce a Med, you need to get his tail and plant it. Worry not as it will regrown again! After six month, a baby Med is born. The wild Medy live in groups of five to six (5-6) of them. Pet Medy are considered to be one of the cutest pet species to even exist - they're very needy and show their love all the time! A bit heavy but sort of "lap dogs"! They're often very loud and take all the attention their owner can offer. They can live with other animals very well, although they can be quite jealous.

1m6UFkwWof8PwmHAySims5x_uEsNojSee.png

Tsumii (pl. Tsumiie) are proud and known to be very aggressive - wild Tsumiie aren't friendly creatures at all! Their name means "The winner" and they tend to fight a lot - usually for the territory or the partner. Wild Tsumiie live in pairs, however as pets they can be kept alone - they adopt their owner as their counterpart. Pet Tsumiie are actually rideable - but quite difficult to train. These creatures are extremely loyal and get attached for a life. If their mate or owner dies, the animal will follow soon after, same goes for when the owner rehomes them. They simply die of grief. Tsumiie are omnivores and they are usually as tall as an adult deer. They are known for their two pairs of eyes and great eyesight, along with a pair of sharp horns that could be considered their weapons. They aren't very fast, but are quite strong and can be dangerous.

1j-mLztS2Dip3qFt6lqxpbtfk5-yMbb9D.png

Numie (pl. Numi or Numies) - meaning "Little one" in Gaidinian language. They can be compared to fawns or lambs and they indeed resemble these animals. Numi are tame but shy - even the wild ones. They don't grow tall so even the adult Numi look like the young ones. Numi are friendly and social animals, usually living in a herd. They are herbivores and love to eat all kinds of flowers - even the poisonous ones! The owner needs to be very careful where they let their Numie go. They're very curious and often find themselves in danger because of that. They grow a pair of antlers - female and male Numi alike. Instead of a tail, they have a plant - the type depends on the location they were born in. They reproduce sexually, usually mating with multiple partners at once. Numi can have two to three (2-3) babies a year.

===Common Unique Pets===

====Thalemimi pets====

1IYI9tzbFR-keHmKVjfEexWtBDuDA_LYc.pngNarmi (pl. Narmis) is a Gaidinian word for "seeking". These animals can live both in water and on land although their preference is to live near a sea water so they can have best of both worlds. Narmis are carnivores but they only eat smaller fishes. They're great hunters but they don't take the risk to hunt anything bigger. These creatures prefer to live alone and mate only once in their life. They don't really care about their mates so once the deed is done, they separate. Narmis are known to be able to connect only to Thalemimis and no other species. It seems like Thalemimis can understand them enough for the animal to stay. Narmis can be quite playful and need to stay active through their life. Their size is similar to a medium-sized dog - female Narmis are a bit taller than male Narmis are, though.

1K2RwYJGrrVHnmN09t11tkreNPj3HS9Kr.pngFalras (pl. Falrasi) can be translated as "a long body". They are a saltwater species so even if kept as pets, the owners need to keep their fish tank water salty. Often called "The Sea Dragons" or "Searics" (based on "Virics" - one of the few dragon species of Gaidinia that cannot fly), many Gaidinians consider these to be a hybrid species of a fish and a dragon, although their origin is unknown. Just like Narmis, Falrasi can't and won't connect to any other species besides Thalemimis. Falrasi are considered  to be more aggressive towards anyone they don't like. Perhaps they really have a dragon gene, as these creatures ale able to eat a whole person if wanted. They're carnivores and eat basically any meat they find. Wild Falrasi live in groups and even those kept in aquariums prefer to not be alone. They mate a few times a year, unsuccessful most of the time though.

====Kyome pets====

12CjrtF36W8fdUjmpfmHDkDHRHdfUVPLn.pngMora (pl. Mory) means "Nightmare". These creatures are tall and slender, gracious even. They resemble horses and their owners are able to ride them. Mory are usually quiet and calm, hiding in the shadows of one's dreams. This is also where a Kyome is able to find and tame a Mora - in a dream. While they may seem creepy and connected  to nightmares only, it's not a rule. Many non-corrupted Kyomes have pet Mory as they were able to find the animals in regular dreams as well. Old Gaidinians used to call them "Mhaas" or "Watchers". Mory only eat small creatures appearing in the dreams of their owner's dreamers and that's why they usually visit the dreams whenever is the Kyome working on them. They don't breed - they simply appear seemingly out of nowhere.

1_s7TCDhjg32Vyi-00JpXVWI9b-eqOJZM.pngSen (pl.  Sny) is a word for "Dream" and also the name of an animal that can only be owned by a Kyome. Sny are usually the size of a medium dog (ex. Australian Shepherd). Their body is cloud-like, quite soft to touch. Each Sen has their own shadow and each shadow always looks the same - except for their eye color. No one knows why they're connected, they simply are. Just like Mory, these animals can be only found and tamed in a dream but the Kyome is able to bring them to the awake world after. Sny only eat the dream flowers - plants appearing only in the dreams of their owner's dreamers. They're not picky for the type of the flower though. Sny appear both in nightmares and dreams and that's why all types of Kyomes are able to find them. They don't breed - just like the other Kyome pet breed.

====Nyanarr pets====
1vyz3x1oyP8i6AT508m7CyktaF3XNWkeP.pngPurame (pl.  Puramene) are a canine-like species able to control the fire element. Their name means "Flame" and these creatures are only obtainable for Fire Nyanarrs. They are able to ignite their whole body thanks to the magical gem placed on their foreheads. The gem is always of the same color as their fire is. Puramene are considered very proud but loveable animals. They only respect their owners though. While these creatures are omnivores, they don't eat the food "whole". They burn it and eat the ashes. Puramene reproduce sexually and a female Purame is able to get pregnant once a year but only birth one cub. Sadly, their fur is quite sought after for illegal purposes, so their appearance in nature is very limited.

1psOO8NSoKvKzEX_cNt-vUZ3Po23fL_Pr.png

Nimav (pl. Nimavs) can be translated into "Sharp teeth". Nimavs are animals living in water, though they are not able to breathe there on their own. That's why each Nimav has a magical bubble appearing whenever they're underwater. It disappears the moment they're on land. Nimavs are great swimmers and they hunt and eat fish. They can only be tamed and owned by Water Nyanarrs and once they get an owner, Nimavs are quite loyal. These animals reproduce sexually but only the males get pregnant. After they give birth (usually two to three kittens), the females leave and only the father takes care of them. They're able to get pregnant once in two years.

1R0DfNFLlNQHyStsalef-LAvCiwC9Y1-1.pngYari (pl.  Yaris) are small feline species. Their name means "Wind Drifter" but later simply became the synonym for the word "Wind" Obtainable only by Air Nyanarrs, Yaris have feathered wings and are able to fly. Thanks to the three gems above their head, each Yari is able to control the element of air. Some call them "The eternal babies" as they somehow are. They never grow big and their appearance doesn't really change in time. Yaris are herbivored and created with magic that originally comes from Aizer. The spell was found in one of the books in Aizer caverns by Air Nyanarrs who moved there a long time ago.

1dTzzz54aMCUVur5tErEXdrO5FeVEP_Ny.pngZemi (pl. Zemis) are small and friendly, however they might appear too shy at first. Their name is a word for "Earth" or "Ground". Their tail is a huge root and Zemis use it to plant themselves into the ground each winter, as they hibernate. Pet Zemis don't do this, although they do like to plant themselves for few days a year - especially if the ground around them is of a good quality. They are mostly herbivores but they can also eat small insect sometimes. Zemis can only be owned by Earth Nyanarrs and they're great helpers in the garden. Some even say that their presence makes their owners magic a lot stronger but no one knows for sure. To breed a Zemi, you need a half of their tail. It can re-grow but it takes some time for it to happen (usually around 2-3 years).

1bWva9_FerIR-tt2o_EFwNbCA-JdT7bg7.pngMaez (pl. Maezi) means "Wooden toy" and as the name implies, they are made of literal wood. These creatures can only be owned by Wood Nyanarrs and each one of them is actually created by The Collector, but Leslye - the Wood Nyanarr deity, is the one who makes these wooden toys into real living creatures. While their face resembles a human, they are not a humanoid species - they don't talk, act or think as one. In fact, they don't make any animal sounds at all! Maezi have no need for food, but they do need to drink water. They are very loyal to their owners and to obtain a Maez means a huge honor to each Wood Nyanarr. They're companions for life and once their owner dies, they follow shortly after, becoming nothing else but toys once again.

1cpJMQlIgTiPjnJS1sDSU_70FUd21PGO_.pngCromie (pl. Cromi) resemble android canines, though these creatures are able to shapeshift. The model shown here is the original one. Each Cromie has their own ID number visible on the body. (ex. "005" or "018"). Their name means "Time" in Gaidinian language. They do come with an original and individual personality, but it can be easily reprogrammed if the owner decides to. Cromi can only be owned by Metal Nyanarrs, who are also able to adjust or update the body parts of their pets. Cromi don't have to drink or eat, nor reproduce. They're created by a company called "NaCas Inc.".

1twhC0f3_jaq_uGL9WCrss2kjqPBM14IH.png

Sneh (no plural) always need to be in a cold place. Their name can be translated as "Snow" which says a lot about them. The ice diamond on their head is the source of their magic and once it melts, the Sneh cannot recover anymore and they can pass shortly after. These creatures don't eat but they do drink water. Apparently, Sneh are born when the Ice Nyanarr deity blows a little bit of their magic breath onto a frozen animal. The animal melts down into a puddle of water but after a while, the water reshapes itself into a creature that Sneh is known as. It's only a legend though, no one has ever seen this happening before! Sneh can only be owned by Ice Nyanarrs who get them from a merchant in Aizer.

1eqtZsw4RUiH1BC3Wwvetw52X6wse7ZMC.pngZaruu (pl. Zaruus) are ghost-like creatures. Their name is a word for "Lightning" in old Gaidinian and their body has the characteristics of a cloud. They are able to "rain" or make a storm appear under themselves. Zaruus can also become invisible for a short period of time, but they have to recharge after to recover their magic. Their energy is stored in crystals appearing on their head and shoulders and recharging is possible only when lightning strikes them - this is why they often have to live in locations when storms appear quite often. Zaruus can only be owned by Electric Nyanarrs and they tend to be very clingy pets. Many consider to be very cute, but these creatures can also be quite dangerous. They're born when lightning strikes on of the rare crystals that later becomes the building crystal of their body. The location of these crystals is unknown and Nyanarrs can only purchase Zaruus by a merchant in Meizisia.

Mekki (pl. Mekkis) - meaning "Soft" in Gaidinian language. Mekkis are a cat-sized creatures that are rather rare to spot and pretty hard to tame. They are not domesticated in a common sense - they are known to be able to bond with Gaidinians in a spiritual way - but only if they finds the Gaidinian worthy. Mekkis are loners and usually do not live with other members of their kind. They are insectivorous and prefer to hunt over feeding on pre-prepared feed. They are free spirited and can be very stubborn - but they are extremely loyal and cases of Mekkis risking their own lives in order to protect their Gaidinian/s are not uncommon. Mekkis have perfect night vision as well as hearing - they also have the ability to see warmth and ultra purple light - similarly to various insects. They breed once a year via exchange of powder their antennas are covered in and they usually give birth to approx. 5 offsprings - referred to as kittens.

===Interesting Facts===
