General rules:
- The species of Gaidinia are all closed species, and you can't create your own Gaidinian without permission or owning a MYO slot. You can, however, put your non-Gaidinian characters into the world of Gaidinia.
- Do not ask or beg for free MYOs or designs - not the owner, not the mods, or anyone else.
- Do not harass or guilt trip anyone for the design/character they own.
- Any adopt designs created for Gaidinia by the owner, mods, or guest artists might be used as examples for any legal activities (customs, showcasing the species, etc.)
- The owner, mods, and guest artists reserve the right to refuse the service to anyone for any reason.
- Do not copy, trace or steal anyone's designs for your myos and non-species characters. That includes not creating characters based on copyright characters (ex. Don't create Naruto Gaidinian. Just don't. You may, however, create a Gaidinian that would be a ninja appearing in the Naruto world as long as the design is original and not copied.)
- All Gaidinian designs are only available for personal use (no commercial use).
- Co-ownership of Gaidinian designs is not allowed.
- Voiding Gaidinians is allowed if you got permission from the owner and the designer. Obtain this permission though PMs for example and provide it with a screenshot.
- For voiding MYOs designed by you, pm the species owner.
- Off-branding and fan characters are not allowed in Gaidinia. We understand that the physical look of Gaidinian species is not unique, however, if combined with lore, it is original. We will not hunt anyone who has a character that resembles Gaidinian species, they are simply not welcomed in Gaidinia (discord, TH world, dA group).
- We reserve the right to refuse to service anyone who owns an off-branded or fan character of Gaidinia.
- We reserve the right to update the rules anytime.
- We don't do refunds. Once you buy something, either keep it or resell it.
- Do not ask for holds/payment plans if you are not sure about that. If you put something on hold and decide that you are not interested anymore, the owner/mods/artists may not sell you anything after.
Reselling rules:
- You can resell your Gaidinian only if you obtained them in a purchase or resell. If you got the character in a trade or as a gift, the answer is no in most cases.
- You can trade gifted designs or designs you obtained in raffles after min. 1 month of owning them.
- You can only resell for the character's worth. Commissioned or your own art adds to the value. Gifted or traded art does not.
- Gacha or mystery adopts can be swapped for adopts from the same batch and they still keep their resellable value.
- After giving the character away, you need to update the masterlist by commenting the name of the new owner + the method of transfer.
- You are able to resell your purchased MYO slot for its worth. If you purchased the MYO (or add-ons) for SWB (Gaidinian currency), you may only gift, trade or resell it for SWB.
- If your Gaidinian is an AU or has a non-Gaidinian AU version and you decide to give one of these away, they need to go together.
- Vouchers are to be discussed individually. You may get vouchers for your bought Gaidinians but for traded/gifted Gaidinians, the rule is that generally, you cannot gain any monetary value from them.
- Gaidinian pets can't be resold. They can be gifted or traded for other Gaidinian pets. No exceptions.
Editing + designing rules:
- Follow the editing guide.
- Even without being a part of the Gaidinia discord, you need to follow the editing rules. If the edits need a bubble potion and you have no way to buy it for Gaidinian currency, pm the owner (Aremisu) to ask for a solution.
- If you wish to create an identical twin to your character, you need to have a MYO slot for that + permission from the designer. These identical characters need to be sold/traded/given away together.
- You can turn your non-species characters into Gaidinian with a MYO slot and a permission from the designer.
- Do not base your designs on copyrighted characters. It's fine to take inspiration, it's not fine to copy the design.
- Paid MYOs will never get voided, however, gifted MYOs received with a time limit might get voided if the deadline is not met.
Discord rules:
(apply to TH world and dA group as well)
- No bullying, racism, homophobia, or transphobia - respect the pronouns of everyone in the server.
- Do not spam and/or advertise other discord servers/species. You are allowed to advertise your non-species adopts/art. While we respect everyone's creative abilities and acknowledge that there are plenty of other great species out there, talk/advertisement of other species is prohibited. If you want to show someone a cs, do it in DMs.
- Do not swear or talk about 18+ themes in sfw channels. The same for nsfw art - it belongs only to nsfw channels!
- Don't post anything that is illegal, religious, political, or any extreme content. Soft gore is okay, animal cruelty not!
- Don't attempt to impersonate anyone.
- Please try to post in the channel where it belongs (ex: if you want to share a picture of your pet, don't do it in the species channels.)
- Please do not beg others for free art or free characters. If someone posts that they are taking commissions or requests, you may respond to them. You may also post looking for commissions.
- Please do not DM others without permission. Along with that, please do not ask about personal information. Any form of block-evading is considered breaking this rule.
- Mini-modding is not allowed.
- The server is not your personal advertisement channel! If we find that someone is advertising often and not chatting (over half of their previous messages was advertisement), this will be a strike. We welcome people advertising their commissions and art, however, we want you to be active as well!
Individual rules:
If you own a character by the owner, mods, or guest artists, you need to follow their individual rules as well.

Violation of any of these rules will result in
1) A warning from a moderator via PM for the first offense
2) A one-day server mute for the second offense
3) A one-week server mute for the third offense
After 3 strikes, you will be removed from the server permanently.
We reserve the right to ban anyone whose violation we consider severe enough to not want him in the species.
After being removed from the species, you may keep your characters. We won't consider them canon in the lore even though they stay Gaidinians (unless you void them). You cannot join any events, raffles, or try to return.
