Welcome to the Rules of the Ambinetic Species. Here, why try to cover as much as we can to branch as wide of an understanding as possible. We apologize for the sheer volume here, but we felt it necessary to explain it as well as we could.

General Rules

1. As with any community, we expect you to act civilized. Be polite, remember your manners. If you believe you have found an issue that demands attention. Please message an Admin with details.
   
   
2. No hate speech or use of imagery that can be deemed offensive or harmful. Profanity should be kept to a minimum.
   
   
3. NSFW works are allowed in the community, but please be cautious when posting. Include warnings. We aim for this to be a safe community for everyone. Minors and those who do not wish to be exposed to this type of content included.
   
   
4. Credit the species when, or wherever you post your Ambi and link back to the TH world.
   
   
5. Non-Ambinetic Characters you own or create are allowed in this world! However, to participate in the species events, an Ambinetic character you own must be present.
   • This canonically includes humans, animals, and augmented humans.
   • You can include your own Headcanon, to include fantasy elements - But these will not be considered canon during events or world lore.
     
     
6. You do not have permission to create your own Ambinetic without first purchasing or winning a Ticket to do so. [For More information, see the MYO ticket section of the rules]
   • Participation in free raffles or MYO events can get you a ticket without purchase
   • Admins are allowed to gift, sell, or trade Admin-tier MYO tickets. These tickets are given, sold, or traded at the Admin’s discretion.
   • You may purchase MYO tickets for others. You must let the Admins know who you are giving the ticket to so that it can be logged.
     
     
7. Please be aware of your own financial status and use discretion before making any purchases. You are welcome to use the trade center for assistance in retaining an Ambinetic if you would love one.
   
   
8. Any unjust harassment towards the staff is NOT tolerated. If you are having an issue with an Admin, reach out to one of the owners.
   
   
   

MYO and Trait Tickets

1. Depending on the tier, this gives you access to all traits of that tier.
   • Example: If you buy a common MYO but want a single Rare trait, you would buy a common MYO and a rare trait ticket.  
   • If you have an Admin-Tier ticket, you can add admin-tier traits yourself or you can commission the admin to create your Ambi for you.
     
     
2. MYO ticket sales are non-refundable. Please make absolutely sure you can afford to purchase before you do. Please do not put yourself into a financial compromise for a MYO. We want you to be safe and happy above you buying a MYO. You can check out the trade center, and offer art, characters or literature in exchange for someone buying you a MYO ticket.
   
   
3. Traits can be purchased on a trait-by-trait basis. If you see a new trait you would like to add to your Ambinetic, check the trait rarity and purchase that trait ticket.
   
   
4. Community Currency can be used to purchase MYO/Trait/Redesign Tickets. 

Designs and Permission  

1. Always credit the Ambinetics species group for your Ambi character. Make sure they’re in the Ambinetic TH world.
   
   
2. Resale of purchased designs is not permitted. However, resale of your own MYO-approved designs or offers of customized designs is welcome in the community. 
   • This means the design has to have been specifically drawn by your hand when it was approved. 
   • If you’ve traded or bought a design, you cannot sell it for real-world currencies.
      
3. Use the Ambinetic redesign center when changing your Ambinetic design. We need to log these changes, and also approve the new design. 
   • Human and otherwise characters do not need to be updates
     
     
4. Remember to check the T.O.S. of the artist you’re purchasing a design from.
   
   
5. Design duplicating/copying is not permitted, and you will be asked to make changes if this comes to our attention
   
   
6. If a design is sent back more than twice for revisions, the person waiting on approval may receive community currency compensation, but only once per design.
   
   
   

Purchasing, Owning, and Trading

1. Ambinetics can be purchased via adopt batches, MYOs, or through equal trade.
   • Autobuys for other individuals is considered a trade and can be used as a method of trade/purchase within the community.
   • Adopts from Admin/Owner Batches can be purchased via paypal. Adopt Batch adopts cannot be purchased via community currency unless stated in an event. 
   • MYOs can be purchased for other members of the community from the MYO center. It will be logged with the admins for prosperity.
     
     
2. Community currency can be used to purchase a MYO. Please see the bank teller about your in community balance. (You will need to set up an Ambinetic Bank account)
   
   
3. When trading an Ambinetic MYO to another member, you will still need to hand the design in on behalf of the tradee- As the ticket will be logged under your name.
   
   
4. Payment is needed in full before the ownership of any Ambinetic will be transferred into your ownership.
   • Payment can include paypal payment, community payment, or trade.
   • Admins who are using their admin slots in trade are required to have received their full payment before the Admin MYO Ticket is allowed to be used. [e.i. If an admin is trading their admin slot for art, all the art must be finished before the MYO ticket is allowed to be used.]
   • Payment to non-Admin customizers is not the responsibility of our team. However, to keep our community safe, we recommend saving screenshots of your purchases and agreements with the customizer. You can pass this onto an Admin should the need arise, and the offending party will be taken into consideration for a settlement, strike, or otherwise reprimand after an investigation.
     
     
5. All Sales on adopts are Final and non-refundable
    
    

Community Currency, Bank, and Trade

1. Ambits are the community currency that is equal to 200=$1USD. At this time it is not purchasable, however, this may change. This also means they cannot and should not be traded for real-world currencies at this time.
   
   
2. Ambits can be won from participating in events or received as rewards.
   
   
3. Ambits can be received in trades from other members of the species.
   
   
4. Ambits can be received via the recycling center for trading tickets [MYO, Trait Tickets, Ect.]
   
   
5. You are required to open an Ambit Bank Account with the banker to start earning and saving your Ambits. It is your responsibility to make sure you have an account and are tracking when you have received Ambits.
   
   
6. Ambits can be used to buy MYOs, Trait Tickets, Gatcha Rolls, Redesign Tickets, and Pet Tickets.
   
   
7. Ambits cannot be used to purchase Admin Tickets, Current Adopt Batches, Owner Tickets, or Admin/Owner Artworks.
   
   
8. All Sales with Ambits are final and non-refundable.
   
   
9. You must alert the bank teller with ambit trades, so accounts can be kept up to date.
   
   
10. The teller is not responsible for what you do with your Ambits. Once you have done a trade of ambits from one account to another, that trade is final.
    
    
11. If you are doing a trade of Ambits for a service with another member of the species and that service is not delivered upon, please contact a member of staff.
    
    
12. Payment of Ambits for services outside of official areas is negotiated between buyer and seller.
    • File a form, contract,  on the bank page on the TH for the trade. The second party of the trade will reply “Confirmed” after the trade details are lain out
    • Reach out to an admin only if the trade terms are not fulfilled.
    • Parties entering a trade contract are responsible for the trade themselves and the Ambinetic Admins are not responsible until a dispute is brought up.
      
      
      

Bans, Strikes, and Other Disciplines

1. There are two types of bans you can be given from the species. Permanent and Temporary. 
   • A temporary ban will have its time period decided after a discussion regarding the offense/s. This ban can be appealed via contacting the Ambinetic Species world owners. You can do this by directly contacting Epizootix or blankmuse on Toyhouse, or by sending your appeal to an admin to contact us with. 
   • A permanent ban cannot be appealed and is usually our last resort. This is a decision that will be made after an investigation on the offender and their offenses. Either repeated or severe.
      
2. Strikes are counters that work towards a ban. Two (2) strikes will lead to a temporary ban.
   
   
3. NSFW is allowed in the species under the NSFW area of the species. However, Age verification is required. If you do not want to give us your age, that is fine, however, you will not be allowed to participate in NSFW content.
   • Any NSFW artists who are seen in the community without age verification will be investigated. If the artist is proven to be underage, a temporary ban will be given, with no appeal access. 
   • If you are receiving NSFW art/content without age verification and you are found out, you will receive a temporary ban.
   • If you are found to be commissioning or asking for NSFW content from a minor, you will be temporarily banned if you did not know. A permanent ban will be issued if you knew the artist was a minor.
   • If a minor is found to have been commissioning NSFW content from someone, they will be permanently banned.

The protection of our community is vital to us, and under no circumstances, will these rules be swayed. 

NSFW Regulations

Access to any of the NSFW areas of the species/server requires age verification before access is granted.

NSFW artworks, including nudity, gore, and dark themes of adult characters are allowed in the species. All of these must be posted to the correct NSFW channels and will require spoilers to them as well as a description of the type of NSFW content [i.e. gore, nudity, ect.]

Any minors who feel they’ve been interacted with inappropriately are encouraged to notify a member of staff. We will handle the situation with anonymity. This includes if the interactions are in DMs outside of the server/species.

Minors are not allowed to do NSFW Commissions and are not allowed to receive NSFW Commissions.

Non-Ambinetic Characters

Non-Ambinetic characters are allowed to be used for story-telling, artworks, and role-playing. However, for any art piece/written work to be considered for event participation, your Ambinetic must be the focal point of the piece. The Ambinetics are the star of the species, they are required to receive any points for participation.

Mythical / Fantasy humanoids are allowed as is having fantasy themes to art and prose with non-ambinetic characters but these will not necessarily be considered in the full cannon of the species. It's just for fun outside of canonical lore!
