The Morning Fog

Season Started :: 1st new-leaf
Season Ended :: N/A

The start of a new era has arrived after the struggles of moons long famines that have completely wiped away most of the clan. Now, the clan must start anew, endorsing new cats and regrowing their clan once more. While this emphasis on regrowth is heavy, it seems as though the clan is at its most peaceful time at the moment. As more kits become apprentices and more apprentices become their assigned ranks. This causes there to be anticipation in the air.

A new leader was appointed for the clan after the passing of the old one. They are known as Heavystar. A large and fat grey Exotic Shorthaired cat with icy blue eyes, a pushed up maw, and a bright royal purple hidden pelt, most of the Clan wasn’t sure of the choice but with a high Luck stat yet low in everything else, some have to ask how did this mollie get her position? Though a decision was a decision and she did have the pelt to match it.

The territory was struck by a tropical storm, several places of the territory had been messed around with and the clan's grounds were slippery and wet. Cat's mostly stayed in their dry dens, only coming out to occasionally hunt. However, a small kit named Violetkit perished in the storm. The lone kit had no queen to cuddle for warmth and sadly couldn't make it by the time the day broke out.

The day after the tropical storm the weather was dry and it was a relatively ok day, nothing exciting seemed to happen here.

However, the day after that was extremely humid, it was hard to find prey as the air became still and heavy, cats would lick their fur as they tried to keep cool. At the Cats of Dew Leaf the Hunter, Fallenfall came to the deputy, Duskeyes, explaining that she could not find any prey in the territory. Duskeyes believed that it was just the still wind but Fallenfall worried that it was something else. Meadbreeze, the Warrior of the settlement perked in as well and was curious. Duskeyes explains that they will go to check out the territory with Fallenfall, Meadbreeze also wanted to come just in case that there was a threat in the territory.

The patrol was attacked by a desperate and starving fox in the territory nearby The Howling Waters. When the trio had looked around the area they had not sensed a single piece of prey in sight. Duskeyes starts getting a little concerned about the situation and isn't exactly sure whether or not they should report the issue to a Messenger as it could still have been the humid air preventing them and the fox to find any food.
