SpiritClan & DimClan
SpiritClan and DimClan are two clans that are part of the afterlife in the world of LanternClan. They are two realms that are where cats go when they pass on. When a cat dies, their spirit leaves their body and they may either be guided by a SpiritClan cat or dragged underground to the abyss known as DimClan.
SpiritClan itself looks like an ethereal forest, a cat's Hidden Pelt will shine bright no matter the rank and there is a sense of acceptance and peace in this realm, it doesn't need to worry about DimClan, as the cats in DimClan cannot attack the cats of SpiritClan. Cats of SpiritClan tell the living prophecies, give lives to leaders, and even chat with Medicine Cats. Cats of SpiritClan cannot access the living realm in any way though. They can only watch the living from afar.
DimClan, on the other paw, is a miserable abyss. A cat's Hidden Pelt has been stripped away from them in DimClan and they are left to wander in an endless dark foggy void that gives a cat a sense of loneliness, loss, and fear... A cat is doomed to endlessly wander in DimClan.
Both of these afterlives balance good and evil within the cats, no one can control where and where they don't go, not even SpiritClan.
SpiritClan
SpiritClan territory is filled with giant oriental temple-like structures, unlike the ruined ones in the living realm, SpiritClans temples are beautifully built structures. Oddly, the cats of SpiritClan can walk on their legs similar to those just like Twolegs. This is speculated to be a reference to the legends of the ancient Warriors that used to live alongside the Twolegs before they had left, where the cats would be able to walk on their paws, they are known as Twopaws. Most of the Twopaws in SpiritClan go about their day to day lives by either watching the living, talking among each other, playing with kits, or even hunting spiritual prey like mice, rabbits, and even koi in the pond around the ethereal temples. Life tends to be enjoyable in SpiritClan and calm, almost zen-like in nature at times. SpiritClan cats are mostly immortal, however, when they are 'forgotten' they disappear from SpiritClan. The cats of SpiritClan suspect that the cats are reborn as completely new things in LanterClan territory.
The Meeting Shrine - The Meeting Shrine is a large, oriental-like shrine made of cobblestone and red painted wood, there is also some bamboo, leaves, and vines that surround the shrine as well. It looks to be the most aged thing in the SpiritClan territory, yet, is also extremely sturdy. It is the portal from the mortal realm to the afterlife, with its entrance being from the Tree Of Gathers. Usually, a SpiritClan cat is on guard at the shrine, to await any cats that may visit the afterlife.
SpiritClan Temple - When a cat enters the realm of SpiritClan, they are guided from the Meeting Shrine to the SpiritClan Temples on a cobbled path. SpiritClan Temples are several structures that are built with red-dyed wood and have oriental-styled art on the walls, it seems that these paintings on the walls appear and depict events and history in LanternClan, from battles, sorrow, and celebrations. SpiritClan Temples tend to have a 'home' feel to them rather than an actual temple, there are comfortable beds and warm hot springs for the cats to enjoy. There seem to also be small tables for the cats to put things on top of.
Cherry Forest - The Cherry Forest in Spirit Clan is a calming forest where SpiritClan cats can stretch their everlasting energy on spiritual prey, the forest itself has soft pink cherry trees that gently drop the petals on the forest ground. Most of the young cats enjoy playing with the petals and chasing the spiritual mice in the territory. While adults enjoy showing the kits on how to hunt, even though they do not need to hunt in their afterlife forms.
The Koi Pond - The Koi Pond is a large shallow pond in the Cherry Forest of SpiritClan, besides being a place to watch and play with spiritual koi fish it is also a place where SpiritClan ancestors can see the mortal realm by dunking their whiskers in the pond to be given visions of their clanmates and loved ones. Though, this action is usually done during a time of low energy and relaxation as restless kits may ripple the sight for cats to see clearly by trying to catch the spiritual koi.
DimClan
DimClan territory is dark, murky, and foggy, DimClan cats lose their hidden pelts altogether and are left to wander a completely barren void landscape, however, if lucky, DimClan cats can find "spots" of a random terrain that they can stand on, these small spots are rare, when found, they can vary in size. Some may be as big as an actual terrain while other spots are as small as speckles on the ground. Several DimClan cats seek out these places to make their own territory. DimClan cats usually duel each other or think unkindly to one another. When DimClan cats kill each other they disappear forever. When cats dream of DimClan and are injured in their realm, their injuries will appear in the mortal realm. DimClan residents have red sclera + pupils while trainees only have red pupils. This, alongside DimClan cats retain the wounds they have received since their death.
Training Pit - The Training Pit is a spot in DimClan territory in which cats of DimClan train with mortals. DimClan cats can make mortals dream of DimClan if their heart is dark enough, they can be lead by a mentor in DimClan. These cats are usually fought on as apprentices in DimClan are seen as additions to their following. Similar to that of mafia groups wanting something really bad. The Training Pit is owned by Scorchstars Group and is where apprentices are trained to follow the paw steps of DimClan.
Murky Waters - Murky Waters is a place in which DimClan cats can watch the mortal realm, it is a very foggy and murky stagnant shallow pool of water in which DimClan cats soak their whiskers in to gain insight into the mortal cats. Their eyesight, however, is much less clear than if a SpiritClan cat were to soak their whiskers in the Koi Pond. It is possible for a DimClan cat to cross the paths of SpiritClan cats this way. Nobody owns the Murky Waters of DimClan, making it 'neutral' territory.
Twisted Branches - Twisted Branches is a forest in DimClan territory that is considered one of the largest and most disputed plots of land in DimClan. It's a large forest structure in which the tree branches are crooked and almost 'bramble-like' in structure. They contain thorns on their barks and there tends to be dead rotting prey on the ground. Some speculate that the prey in DimClan is hunted leftover prey from SpiritClan. Since once prey is caught in SpiritClan it disappears into the unknown. There are many dens and hiding spots that is an ideal place for a SpiritClan group to live in.
The Maw Stones - The Maw Stones is a plot of land in which a series of sharp "fang-like" stones are lined up similar to that of a cats maw, there is not much here other than this is the place that Scorchstars group lives in, with dens being dug up in and under the rocks. There is even a rock in which the leader can perch themselves on to make meetings for their residents. From an outsiders perspective inside this camp, they would mention how the stones feel like you are in the jaws of a beast, making your fur stand in unease.
