As much as we appreciate the hubbub circulating with regard to the Second Wave and our efforts (any publicity is good publicity, no?), we fear that the situation is being blown far out of proportion by those who would rather use this newfound spotlight for their own means, however cruel or altruistic they may be.
An invader is an invader. This is not merely conjecture, this is an undeniable fact- We all contribute to the invasion in our own ways. Though you may not see your strengths now, they gleam diamond-bright in the rough-hewn rock of the uninfected masses to us.
First or second-wave, you will be extracted and polished to the idealized standard set by our predecessors, a 24-carat treasure in a sea of worthless imitators. Do not fear this process. You are being shaped meticulously into the best version of yourself by unseen hands, and they will stop at nothing to see you succeed. Do not resist. We hold your best interests in mind.
The first wave is not being replaced. You need not fear. You are our siblings in arms- heed not those who would sow the seeds of conflict in the fields of brotherhood. Self-destruction is not the way. Learn to coexist, to cooperate, and then settle your petty interpersonal issues. There are more important things to be doing. If you do not have access to a host of high social rank, we suggest you begin research into the history of this planet- an example exercise following this approach could be, say, analyzing records of historical figures for potential signs of Mignyan infection. Though the second wave may be new, Mignyans as a whole certainly aren't. Suss out their shortcomings and assess potential ways to circumvent them in the future.
We hold much in the way of concern for our active invaders as you are now. Whereas some of you have been doing your due diligence, infecting whenever possible and passing out crabs when time allows, there are some who appear to be more concerned with making friends with the locals than what we might remind you is your entire purpose for being sent to this planet. Our fleet has no place for slackers or defectors. You will not escape persecution for long.

The future of the invasion rests on your shoulders.

something new in the genetic pool, mutations dancing below the surface - to strengthen forces, harden resolves.
and as the weak exist to fuel the strong, so do the advances envelop their prey and bury themselves in the shaking sand.

something new, something exciting - if you can feel that.
the tremor in the air, a quiet shudder of flesh bursting forward from beneath false remains, one time over once again.

that has suddenly graced Mignyan-kind.
And you may be wondering;

Hello? Is anyone reading this? (Ah, geez, I've never really been good with computers...)

If you are, seriously, don't tell anyone you saw this! For all you know or care, I don't exist. There are plenty of people I can think of who'd want my head if they knew this was floating around.
I've got some serious concerns, though. All of this talk of a "second wave" or whatever is getting me antsy. We've pretty much been just appearing out of thin air for god knows how long, so who was organizing this in "waves" anyways?
But these new crabs about town... really creep me out. I don't know what it is about them, they look and function pretty much the same as any crab, but they're definitely just a little off. Maybe it's some kind of pheromone or something?
I think there's something going on off-planet. I couldn't tell you what. And, as much as I'm supposed to "trust in my fellow invaders," putting my trust in something where I don't know the full story wigs me out...

Agh. Whatever. I just don't want anyone getting hurt. Seriously, there's something up with this whole "second wave" thing.
I'd advise everyone to keep a close eye on anyone you don't want infected for the time being. There's no telling what these guys'll do.
