So you want to make your own Fantochi? Fantastic! I'm going to show you what you need to make one.
Oh? You're not sure if I should be trusted? Don't worry, I'm a master at making Fantochis!
I'm also assuming you have a MYO ticket or permission from Metanyu. Otherwise you can't make one, nonono!
What exactly is a Fantochi?
If you don't know what a Fantochi is, look at this trait sheet and at the introduction! The FAQs can also help you!
How do you make a Fantochi?
When you make a Fantochi, you first need to gather the materials. You're going to need a frame, that's going to be the skeleton. You'll also need some stabilization devices and some magic vessels, those are pretty important. And, of course, you can't forget the gem. That's probably the most important thing to have in hand when making a Fantochi!
Core Gem
There are no restrictions on what gems can be used as the core, although you need to remember that Type A & B can only have one core gem, while Type C have more than one core gem. There are also no restrictions in terms of shape. Fantochis usually have the same eye color as their core gem, but there are some exceptions. All core gems need to be on their head as well.
Type [C]haos
Type C Fantochis are very different from other Fantochis. All of them have black sclera, multiple core gems (as mentioned above), demon-like limbs & cracks. Those are the traits to keep in mind while making a Type C Fantochi...if you dare make one. Oh, did I mention you need flesh to make those?
Other traits
There are no restrictions in terms of tails, wings & ears, meaning you can give your Fantochi cat ears, two tails and angel wings if you want to.
I finally made my own Fantochi, how do I make them official?
I'm glad you asked! To make a Fantochi official, you must send a PM to Fantochi (You can also send the MYO in the #fantochi-art-x-myo channel in the Discord server) with the following form:
Title: [SLOT NUMBER] Fantochi MYO Approval (Ex. #002 Fantochi MYO Approval)
- Username: (dA/TH)
- Designer: (dA/TH)
- MYO Ticket #: (Number of your MYO ticket)
- Type: (A, B or C)
- Core Gem: (Gems used for the horns)
And, of course, don't forget to slide an image of your MYO!
Once your MYO has been approved, you will receive a link to your MYO's Masterlist entry. This link is going to be very important for when you want to update ownership.
You may submit a naked MYO for approval, but keep in mind that they will not be added to the Masterlist until they have clothes on.
Also, please do not simply DM Metanyu with the form, otherwise Demistasis won't be able to put your MYO in the masterlist!
